Mam, good example. .. completely agreed. . when I was student in class 5 , I couldn't speak English fluently, then I started converting hindi into English. . and thinking too much about words.. very tough in conversation in hindi into English or vice versa. .

Your sentence is worng after comma you wrote that i learn a lot but you most use " i learnt a lot " rather than using "i learn a lot , because learn is frist form of learn .

I wouldn't recommend self-questioning in speech. It's counterproductive if you want to build confidence and increase fluency. Writing would be better to self-correct grammar as it allows time to think. This will indirectly train your brain to get used to the correct grammar and will eventually be reflected in your speech. Most learners don't use the correct verb tenses (e.g., eat, ate, eaten) often because they haven't learned or don't recall them, not so much because they don't know. Confusion with tenses are often related to when certain tenses should be used rather than which words to use.
OMG!!! Relatable!!! last day I tried to write something in English and I used this "hanging out" word and after I was checking the sentence in my language and there was a so funny meaning I got and I deleted that sentence 😂😂😂
