It's kind of gear fear for me I think. When already using T7 thermals you don't wanna take any changes with your other gear like armor and helmet, because the round is already very expensive in gear value already imo and you don't want to die just because saving on armor and helmet on rounds like these.

@@Hawk737 what i mean is u are on normal mode with hella expensive kit that gets u legit nothing out of it and u can legit die by a scav with a shotgun c.c ( its not worthed to play that gear on normal mode) the more u lose the less gear fear u have :D

I might try SVD too with thermals, but that sniper is just not my fav one. I think I´ll try M110 too with good scope and therms in the future.

@Hawk737 do it before January they are nerfing thermals so you can't use them with a scope!

@@86BmoreRaven Thanks for the info. First time I have heard about that nerfing, but I have been quite busy with my IRL work and I haven´t read about recent ABI upcoming changes yet. Good to know that in advance now :)
