Really mind blowing music. This guy is a fascinating composer and to put such complex and amazing music in a random NES game seems so out of place. Fantastic work and interesting to listen to.

Is not great but is a fun but frustrating game, AVGN only exaggerated the "so bad" factor to do a more funny review. He didn't even talk about the music.
I get that. He uses to focus on controls, tech aspects that affect the experience and difficulty. But well, he says "The music is not bad". Are you kidding? It's GREAT!! Maybe it's just me (who loves Tim, also because of my prog and goodmusic taste). Also, I think it's harder when you are not used to his stuff or you don't know him except for 3 specific soundtracks
The song of World 4 sounds so much like the opening of solstice it looks like Tim Follin had to put half of that song into a different game after composing it.
I just listened that part. You're right! It sounds like the second part of a concept album based on that theme and game. And is a great variation of that motif.
Imagine make a 20 min album in a NES cartridge. And this guy did it more than 5 different times only in the NES. Then there is the Commodore Amiga games. This guy also made a music for a computer game that doesn’t have a sound chip, only with the beeps.

There's always so much going on in his music.
AVGN reviewed this. The game could be bad programmed but this music is AWESOME!! As always with Tim Follin, you fly away with that 8-bit prog.

@@danmakuman Yes, he did.
Oddly enough the game was pretty ok. Was a frustrating but fun game.
He didn’t even comment on the music in his silver surfer review from what I recall
If this game were as cracktastic as it's soundtrack it would have easily been the greatest video game of all time
Same could be said of every single one of the game Tim composed for....except Solstice and that one Thomas game
Surprised Plok isn’t…by that logic
holy shit this slaps so hard how is he that good
9:07 and 12:49 Tim is *INSANE*

9:07 AWESOME!
18:29 / World Complete - Best!
holy shit this soundtrack needs to calm down
I wasn't sure if this was a tim follin album then I read this comment and knew it's definitely his.
Looks like Follin reused some of his themes from Solstice and a few other games for this. Still very nicely made.
Some riffs, at most! This sounds entirely original to me, hrm well, except the Starsky and Hutch inspired part, that still kicks ass nontheless.
World 3 & 5 is intense !!!
I'll get this this game and a NES emulator just to listen to this OST as it's intended; man like what a treat world 3 & 5 will be...
Pretty sure it's intended to be listened on a real NES/Famicom/Dendy instead.
Great composer, an 8-bit-Bach!

Tim must've watched Starsky and Hutch before making that first track
He's right from that time, too, must have been a part of his childhood.
THIS SHIAT IS SO GOOOD DAYUMMM
Damn, this think is funky! Godo stuff
10:00 Nice homage to Changes by Yes!
I knew this rhythm was familiar
Cool, just found out this used the Gotcha theme from Starsky and Hutch :)
Tim was indeed a very big fan of that show!
He even did the original theme and original score for the Gamecube/PC/PS2/Xbox game from 2003. That must be a sweet treat for him.

Worlds 3&5... mind blown
The title music is used in a roblox strategy game named "strategema"
Dont forget geoff also worked on this

Tim was a big fan of them, indeed!
MrNorbert1994 That’s cool Starsky & Hutch
World 6 feels like Tim Follin was influenced by the very Gioacchino Rossini: Barber Of Seville anyone?
Hey, could someone kindly tell me the mindfuck of a time signature of world 5? 😄
GST Channel's Artist Feature #2 says that its in 17/8

It's a shame Tim Follin was never able to compose music for a good game :(
He did: Solistice. It was rated a 90.
Plok was also pretty good (the akrillic and beach level songs kiss ass)
Ecco for Dreamcast and Equinox were also really good.
