Long ago, I designed a board game relating the Crusades, encouraging the appreciation of the iconography and war related topics. Since I'm from an underdeveloped country with no internet access by the time, I could only nurture my studies with university articles or small books likes this. As you said: springboards or short style publications are amazingly useful for novice readers and for those who'd like to find new topics to immerse themselves.
    I appreciate your insights!✌

Thank you for the comment I appreciate it! Weirdly enough I too developed a game as a kid based off ancient civilizations I read in library books. I never made it far though. Hopefully yours turned out well and was fun!

@@badbettybooks4001 Thanks! I had lots of fun playing it with my colleagues and, since the concept was simple enough, including mechanics with unpredictable outcomes, it encouraged replayability. I even developed a cardboard pop-up version for the board and the pieces, catching the attention of an editor we worked with, so it got published as didactic materials for primary schools... All of this to point out that "weirdly enough" is a warmly welcomed feeling among creatives👌

Great video, I really enjoyed your breakdown of the chapters and greater context you added to the information given. The idea that there are more pieces of the true cross than would be in a cross is an old truism, but it’s not actually true. Charles Rohault de Fleury added up the volume of all alleged pieces of the true cross and it was much less than would be in a complete cross of average proportions. Keep up the great work, I look forward to seeing more of your reviews!

Oh no my fun fact was wrong! 😭 I actually didn’t know someone dutifully fact checked that fact, that’s actually really interesting! I’ve learned something new! And thanks for the comment and giving my video a view, I appreciate it!
