Thank you for posting this bike ride. Used to live right up on E 2nd Street lots of improvements since I left. Can you still fly gliders off of Bluff Park @ Cherry ?
I'd love to move to Long Beach. My father lived there in the 90's. Always perfect. This video was so relaxing. It takes your mind and thinking to a different level.
The City of Long Beach recently reopened the access to bike and walk paths with the condition of maintaining physical distancing and wearing mask. Access is to beach is still prohibited though.
Just curious, how are you supposed to keep physical distancing while riding a bike, I mean, if you are riding and all of a sudden you come upon other riders, are you REQUIRED to stay a certain distance Behind them Unless you are going to pass them and then continue on?????
Great! ... I'm in Paris, installed on my exercise bike, and thanks to your film / video, I ride a bicycle under the beautiful sky of the Californian coast! ... Thank you :-))
Please do more bike rides they are great, maybe inland or the opposite way back from the beach so you have both ways. thanks for sharing, you have a new subscriber in me.
LA Metropolitan Area is vast. So cool to watch your POV cycling videos. Reminds me of cycling aimlessly around Helsinki in the warm summer, comfortably numb with weed and beer. Not too much, of course, just enough. Having watched this, I wonder how they came up with the name 'Long Beach'? 24:00 Is that Metallica?
I enjoyed the video. But I would have preferred a little audio to identify some of the sites that you are passing. Like the Queen Mary, Shoreline Village, etc. And for those who don't want to know what they are looking it . . . they can mute the audio. Thank you for sharing.
Another great relaxing video. Really enjoy your videos mate. I put them on when I want to chill. Nice that there is sun, sea, sand and the world passing by.
I plan on riding this bike path one way and taking the $5 Aqualink boat shuttle back. Will start near Ballast point and ride opposite direction since parking there is free
When you're on lockdown but you still can enjoy the world virtually....awesome videos btw! I really enjoy these kind of videos, makes me visit these places. You should do a canada roadtrip if you get there one day
35:48 You still could've kept going if you turned right. It would've taken you to the end of the peninsula, the boardwalk, breakwater, etc. very very scenic.
Beautiful! I was in Long Beach last summer ☀️🌴Unfortunately the waves are pretty tame because of the breakwater installation. Can you please upload a video of beaches around Oxnard, CA if you have the time?!
Loved this video!!! If it's possible, can you do one for North Hollywood? I'm planning to move there and I use these videos to manifest and get acclimated with the are. Thank you so much. And stay safe.
I love to watch videos of long stretches of beach in the sun, since I live far to the north in a frozen six month winter. I don't understand, however; why are the beaches nearly deserted? Even on the Venice Beach video, there doesn't seem to be many people laying on the beach. ?
Also Long Beach is not the main beach destination southern Californians head to even within Los Angeles County. The nearby ports of LA/Long Beach are heavily trafficked by ships and the beaches can be more rocky than sandy. There are better beaches like Manhattan Beach, Malibu, Santa Monica, Redondo Beach, in LA County and even better ones in neighboring Orange County like Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, San Clemente, etc. But the city of Long Beach itself has many land based tourist attractions (even if it's beaches are not the most praised). The one exception being the moored historic Queen Mary ocean liner. If you're a fan of turn of the century ships and oceanliners (or Titanic), the Queen Mary is a living and informative museum and hotel and they offer tours.

Is it really necessary to have 2 ads every 5 minutes? Especially when they are the same ads. AND you want us to support you even more. We all need money. Some are more greedy than others.
ctwatcher - I understand your point but bikes' energy comes from your own leg power so it's not like any engine, though. Maybe many of the cyclists could not afford such a fee. Here there is a sort of social equality among various groups on the beach, which is rare in this state. I'm for leaving them all alone with their bikes, roller skates and scooters. After this wonderfully relaxing video I hope to sleep well tonight. Stay safe.

I used to live on Quincy in Belmont, that was my route to 24 hour fitness in downtown.

I lived out here for 6 years until a year and a half ago and rode this so many times on my bike! I miss it so much!

I remember that game
Separated bike paths shouldn't be a thing just for the beach, they should be a thing everywhere. It's a great way to get around.

Past time to put a fee on all bicycles like cars and motorcycles. When rubber meets the road it creates emissions. At least $100 a year to ride them.
