The first time I heard Rush he scared the hell out of me. I was in my late twenties and still fairly stupid to how the world really worked. I was still doing the I'm a Democrat because my parents were a Democrat thing. He made me re-examine all of my beliefs at that time. And my life has been much better than it could have been because I listened to Rush. Miss you big guy, my morning's just aren't the same without your voice and wisdom.
Rush is Milqutoast. An RNC Water Carrier. The Original Paul Revere was Michael Savage and ran Circles around Rush.. I miss Rush but lets add some Brevity here.
@@skip123davis I remember Paul Harvey and "The REST of the Story". Paul Harvey, like Rush Limbaugh was on the radio enjoying what he was doing until the day he died.
Great to see Mr. Golden. My Mom suggested that I listen to Rush back in the 80's and I fell in love with him. She knew I had stinkin' thinkin' at the time and needed adjustments. I miss his wit and wisdom more than ever. God Bless Bo Snerdley for sharing and I hope my Mom and Rush are enjoying Heaven right now!
bro , you aint kidding . the humor , jesting , the verbal challenges , the call outs , boosting of OTHER talk hosts .... the trial and error of SHOWMANSHIP ....
Snerdley please take Rush's old time slot and give the fans the radio show that Rush's fans deserve. You are the best person to step into Rush's enormous shoes.
There is a void, where Rush was is left. Me as a Cape Girardeau, Missouri resident and native. I can tell you that his "arrogance" was BS, humbleness is the way in both Cape Girardeau and Jackson, Missouri was the way to go. I couldn't have been prouder to be from Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The same as Rush Limbaugh. He was, is, and always will be a legend. God Bless Rush Limbaugh!!!!!
Rush changed and inspired me too. I used to be a democrat only because 99 percent of my family are and supported democrats. I did the Rush Limbaugh challenge on listen to him for 3 weeks and could change my views on being a democrat. And it wasn't being brainwashed. I finally opened my mind and realized I was a closet conservative. Thank you Rush for clearing my mind. Awesome video. RIP to the GOAT
Rush Limbaugh was a gift from Heaven, on loan from God. I miss him immensely but I know that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. He spoke very candidly about his faith during his last year here on earth. It was heartwarming and I could tell that he was coming to terms with his mortality in a very positive way🙏🏼❤️ I began donating to Tunnels to Towers because of Rush’s affection for the organization. His legacy will live on until the good Lord comes back for His church.
I remember listening to Rush with my father when I was a child and I continued to listen throughout my teens into adulthood. His show was something my father and I bonded over even though my father became a liberal back in 2010 (remarried a woman who was worth quite a bit of money but that’s pure conjecture). I will always remember Rush’s laugh, gleeful with a hint of sinister. As if he was the mastermind formulating a fuzzy bunny heist….which he of course was. RIP Mr. Limbaugh and thank you.
I was around for the Rush.....the early years. Trying to remember exactly when I caught on. I remember Iran/Contra days. Great time in Talk Radio. Spraying PAM(the cooking oil) on a mouse in a trash can. lol Caller Abortion. He was the MAN.
I miss Rush. He was a unique and once in a lifetime individual who moved the world for the best. Nobody who has taken Rush Limbaugh's time slot compares to Rush in any shape or form. Rush Limbaugh made his radio about his listeners, NOT about interviews that others bring in to kill time and avoid talking to his audience. These guys are lazy and their focus is all wrong. Forget making their radio show about interviews with their buddies, make it about unpacking your thoughts and communicating with your fans only.
Rush knew what was the most important story that was over the horizon before ANYBODY. I follow some podcasters that have that talent but back then he was way out front.
i actually heard rush as a local show out of sacramento: my last usaf posting was in fresno, and i got a job there when i got out. eventually i moved back up to the pacific northwest, where i came from. by then he was nationally syndicated. you folks remember "spatula city?" 🤣
In the late 90's, I only knew Limbaugh from his booking of our only 14 passenger Lincoln limousine we had in St. Louis, and being driven down to Cape Girardeau. He was almost always by himself, he always sat in the very back of the limousine, cracked the window and smoked his cigar. I always thought of him as being very lonely and sad. I thought, this man is not the person he pretends to be on air, but, there is no way he can change his on-air persona, because he has to keep the people entertained and his ratings high. It was like he was a completely different guy in person. And, of course, that is one snapshot in a piece of time.

Watching James' devotion to Rush and his legacy speaks volumes to how truly great Rush was.
Rush is the greatest host in the history of talk radio. James Golden is right; " First there is Rush, then there is everyone else."
Rush is Milqutoast. An RNC Water Carrier. The Original Paul Revere was Michael Savage and ran Circles around Rush.. I miss Rush but lets add some Brevity here.
well, paul harvey was pretty good too - might be before your time though.
What, no Wally George?

Now there's a void where Rush once was for three hours a day, five days a week.

I miss, Rush’s voice now more than ever... in the dark times his voice was especially brilliant. RIP
i know what you mean: i went through some tough times, and just hearing rush was comforting.
Agreed. I haven't listened to talk radio since. There is a hole that just can't be filled.
Snerdley please take Rush's old time slot and give the fans the radio show that Rush's fans deserve. You are the best person to step into Rush's enormous shoes.
Rush Limbaugh, the original talk radio icon, there will never be another like him.
He's the legend of talk radio.
Way back when, rush made me realize I was conservative. I always thank him for that.
Rush Limbaugh was the best friend I never met. He rode in my car keeping me company for decades and I miss him dearly
I've found that people who criticized Rush didn't listen to him enough to make a sound judgment or they didn't have the wits to make a sound judgment.
James is unsung hero of talk radio. I talked to Snerdly three times and got through twice. He and Rush were a magnificent team
I was working around the house today and streaming music. "My City Was Gone" (Rush's theme song) came on and I almost started bawling....

Rest In Peace, Rush! All hail The King!
I miss him Snerdley ~ took him for granted, don't like his replacements & dangit ~ I miss him. Still praying for you Maha Rushie!

Mega-ronie! Man, that was a long week! Nice to see you back!
Golden is golden
I first heard of Rush from a READER'S DIGEST article from 1992, then I became a die-hard fan of his TV series in the early to mid 1990s

Rush Limbaugh was one of a kind 🇺🇸🙏✝️🇺🇸🚂🦅🇺🇲🕊️💖🇺🇲
Indeed Megyn is pretty good at this.
God bless Bo. What an amazing lifetime he must have spent studying at the feet of the master.

Miss Rush

RUSH WAS AMAZING MEG AWSOME AND SUPER FINE IT'S A DOUBLE
This was so interesting!

and..... NO ONE seems to take the cues and emulate RUSH . it is a LOST art because few will take the TRUE WORK
its was the DRY humor and constant prodding in jest
The only reason why , I get angry at my own phone is that the light on numerous phones goes on without my choice.....dumb tech moment? I love tech so,
Megyn Kelly, STILL HOT!
My father is? What is Home Depot's motto? A billionaire named Bernie Marcus?
