I’m thinking about getting the 128GB version as I care about storage more than Face ID and I’ve held an iPhone 11 several times and I’ve already deemed it too big as I want to use an iPhone with one hand without struggling. Don’t really care about the battery as I’ll keep my 6s as a secondary iPhone once I’ll upgrade.

You keep talking about software updates and you are talking about getting new versions of iOS. You will get security updates years longer than you will be able to get the latest iOS. Nobody mentions it, but my Macs are all still running MacOS Catalina and I get a security update every time they release an update to the latest MacOS. Some Macs won't run anything newer than Catalina and those Macs are still getting security updates. I bet the same is going on with older phones.

I think Apple will update the phones for about the same length of time, it's usually the ram memory that determines when the phones stop getting support and both have 4 GB
So do the 13 series, they have 4gb too, also, this guy is wrong, the 11 has 3gb, not four. Also, the a13 is by no means a fast processor anymore, it will not be getting as long as the se3 as it is 3 years newer
The 13 is still one of the fastest processors out there. It is in the one of the newer iPads. It will get updates for at least 4 more years. The 6s still gets current updates.
I was wanting to get the iPhone SE 2022. Looks like the iPhone 11 might be a better choice. Thought I would be okay with a small screen. After seeing them together the 4.7 inch is to small. I currently use an a51. Could get a new SE with 128g of storage and 1g more of ram.for $20 less than the 11.

I ride a motorcycle, with a full faced helmet. Much easier to remove a glove than a helmet. Touch ID is a must.
