Interesting. When my K700P (not a K700S) arrived, the sliding table was (and still is) > 0.25mm higher than the cast iron table. I've always found that a bit troublesome with narrow rips, but haven't adjusted it. After seeing this, I think I will.
Hello! The sliding table should be higher then the machine table. This way the work piece can travel freely. The factory setting is the recommended setting. Best regards from Austria
Good morning I have owned my KF 700S for over 3 years now. I moved late last year and I noticed that the slider was below the cast iron. I am now ready to put the saw back together and I am still wondering on tips on how to do this.

not worth the money the felder saw k700s with all the accessories i bought was almost 20k i had an older sawstop table saw for three years and it never gave me any problems which was about 3k the felder table saw is very nice everything is great except for the motor the motor is bad and gets too hot to use ive been calling customer service every day for a solution for a year now and they tell me i should only use it for every six minutes and then let it cool down and whenever i ask about someone to come change the motor, they just tell me someone will call me back and nobody ever does (customer service that weren’t of any help to me were chad, connor, and justin) if anybody’s planning to buy this saw it’s not worth it

I would check voltage while machine is under load. You may have a loose connection upstream of the machine. If it drops below 5% nominal voltage you should consult an electrician . You’ve bought one of the finest machine available so it’s doubtful there is a problem with the motor. Mine is fantastic and wouldn’t trade it for 20 Sawstops.
