Exactly, so many possibilities: - La Siguanaba from El Salvador, but show her origin story, like Maleficent - Queen Isabel from Spain - Xóchitl and Huitzilin from Aztec culture, but make Xóchitl the focus, and she gets power from flowers, kind of like Moana with the sea
In Beauty And The Beast I never realized similarities between Gaston & the Beast but rewatching this movie as an adult I can see how this theory could make sense.
Okay in Beauty and the Beast, I feel it was unfair (Not the Origin) The 'Beast' was what a thirteen years old? When a weird old lady is like "Hey let me in it's storming." He said No and she turns him and HIS SEEVANTS. Into other things beside the humans they once we're.
So about the Beauty And The Beast theory. If you look to the live action version. They explain that the village is under a memory spell so they can not remember the castle but it was lifted at the end
We need a princess that's not as attractive as the rest. Or a princess with a disability. Orrrr a princess in modern time. Either one or all would be nice.
But in all honesty, snow whites story is/was not supported to be dark. When Disney were making it they weren’t thinking “oh, let’s make a super big plot twist by adding doves instead of any other birds so later on , people can be all like ‘omg the story is actually so dark’ “. No, they were thinking “let’s add doves instead of any other bird because a pigeon, crow or parrot would not fit in this context. And if we turn them into cats then that would make Snow White a crazy cat lady”. So technically, no point in making these theories
This is not a dark theory about Disney Princesses, but I made a fanfiction called The Disney Princess Family Tree on fanfiction.com and it connects some Disney princesses in a family tree on two sides
In the historical readings of most fables which Disney films are based around, there are indicators of insanity. One of the most common ones we see in Disney films is talking to animals and inanimate objects and believing the talk back. If you think about Disney princesses in terms of emotional and mental trauma endured (they are locked in towers, raised in seclusion, magically-induced sleep/awakenings, etc.) it's really not so far fetched. That's not even touching on the mental instability and derangement of these villains who are often an abusive parental/authority figure to the princesses.
Moana was " Link from Zelda : Wind Waker " and lass boss locate on "A1" Location of the maps , that's why Moana cannot just "sail the ship around the last island" and return the heart of tafiti (A.K.A Farore, the Goddess of Courage)
Here's a theory, although not "dark": there isn't a lot of vegetarian protein in the ocean, so mer people would probably need to eat animals along with plants. But they also view fish and shellfish as friends, and use them for transportation and other things. So mer people must eat a lot of krill, those tiny, invisible shrimp that whales eat. Because their eating style is constantly grazing instead of sitting down for meals, their social lives revolve around singing and putting on performances, which take the place of family meals in the human world.
Nice theories. Though I’m not sure about the prison one. Wouldn’t it be more likely natural for a castle to have a few cells in a dungeon? A place to keep some prisoners or delinquents until the King decides their fate.
A lot of early Disney films are based on tales from the brothers Grimm, obviously they will have dark undertones if the scource material is famous for being dark.
I'm pretty sure most castles have cell's in the basement o3o at least Hollywood thinks that the case. When ever a king says cast them to the Dungeon that where they take them in movies.
Patrick Cappuccio First of all, if Anna is related to Peter Pan, so is Elsa...since they’re sisters. And second, Elsa (and Anna) being related to Rapunzel is not ur theory. That’s a very well known theory that has been around for years. That’s why Rapunzel and Flynn are seen in the Frozen movie coming to Elsa’s coronation... because they’re probably related.
Disney: makes kids movies Random adults figuring out theories: we should do it to every kids favorite movie! Disney: well time to make another movie that looks nothing alike but is secretly alike.
The first theory about ariels mom doesn’t make sense because based on the costumes of Wendy and the darlings vrs prince Eric and all those people Peter Pan happened long after the little mermaid.
I have a theory, but it isn't dark. So in Peter Pan the book, in the chapter When Wendy Grew Up, it says Wendy grew up and had a daughter named Jane. What if Jane is the Jane from Tarzan! They are both British. And the time period for Peter Pan is obviously from late 1800s to early 1900s and Jane looks to be in the early 1900s. Does anybody agree??
Also to add to the Snow White theory some people believe that the prince is death is because Snow said bye to the dwarfs so many times before she disappeared with the prince and his horse
First of all: Finally! I have been wondering about that cell for years! Was it just a coincidence that it covered up her hands!? And second of all: The Beauty and the Beast theory makes a lot of sense, Gaston and the Beast are pretty much the same.
Why has no one ever theorised that Aladdin is Ali baba? His "princely" disguise is ALI-of-BABWA. His father was revealed to be the King of thieves (fun little note, that did, in a way, make him a *prince* - sorta). The hero who defeated the thieves was Ali-Baba. The name could be simple enough, that in his Street Rat life, he had to use may aliases to escape the guards, one of them being Ali-Baba.
I watched the Beauty and the beast, hm, good enough. I read the book : not sure if this is in the live action movie but EVERYONE IN THE FRICKEN CASTEL TURNED INTO A BEAST!
I have a different take on the Frozen theory - the powers Elsa has were inherited, so maybe there was another person in the family, an ancestor, who had ice powers and the shackles in the cell were crafted for them (I think the cell can be passed as am expected part of the palace). King Agnarr may have known about that family history, and known about the shackles. In light of the latest trailer for Frozen II, magic users seem to be a part of the kingdom that got cut off years ago, in a kind-of faerie-realm. The royal family may have had an ancestor who came from those folk, long before conflict broke out, and Agnarr not only recall the visit to those lands but also has the royal histories that account the times before they got cut off. There may have been issues with magic users in the past - conflicts even before the cut-off, and shackles that could block Elsa's powers were made to deal with people like those. Now a key point in this is that the cut-off happened within Agnarr's lifetime, and those shackles are still pretty shiny and un-rusted, which may indicate they were used right up to the last conflict.
Disney's version of Neverland is different than most by one key factor: It's a star. Other versions simply imply it a remote island still somewhere on Earth, considering the Darling children fall asleep mid-flight and nearly fall to their deaths several times before Pan saves them. That pokes a hole in the theory.
For the first theory, about ariel's mom, you forgot that one of the mermaids in Peter Pan looks EXACTLY like a younger version of ariel's mom. that's pretty key info to the theory.
Mine is VERY dark. Jasmine was Jafars sex slave. In the movie, Jasmine wears those pants that are big at the bottom, and only a bra. She's kept in the castle by her own FATHER! Who does that! But it makes sense since Jafar also lives in the castle. Which is why I think Jafar and Jasmine's father are brothers, and The castle is really Jafars. So when Jasmine's father needed a place to stay, he offered his daughter as payment. (Which is creepy) that's why she knew how to seduce him. And when she was chained, it resembles slavery. And the outfit resembles her being a sex slave. Because I know that no father would let their daughter wear something as revealing like that.
Ehhh... In provincial France, in her supposed time period, it is more than plausible that she was married to him against her will. He appears quite wealthy and could have easily bargained with her father. Just like a cattle sale. Women were the property of the men in their lives. Especially the poor ones.
In beauty and the beast we saw that all the servants have been enchanted to become household objects.then we entered the forbidden West wing which is full of shattered furniture, the only logical conclusion is that these are dead servants smashed by the beast in a fit of rage

The whole description of snow whites theory made me feel high and confused until I saw th castle and I got chills from head to toe
Brooo same
ok but like can we get a hispanic princess? as someone who is hispanic i want a princess who is like me
Isn't Elena of Avalor just that ?
Benjamin Jackboot but she’s a disney junior princess she’s like sofia the first or something i meant like i want one that’s as famous as elsa, moana, mulan and more
Exactly, so many possibilities:
- La Siguanaba from El Salvador, but show her origin story, like Maleficent
- Queen Isabel from Spain
- Xóchitl and Huitzilin from Aztec culture, but make Xóchitl the focus, and she gets power from flowers, kind of like Moana with the sea
Same I also want a Hispanic princess. There is a Latino superhero, Gizmoduck and his mother is a police officer
@@PC-wp9tj El Salvador? That's where my mom is from
Disney's snow white was based on real story, and she did die in mine where she runaway from home to support miners. So it does fit
Ariels mothers death was the hardest thing i had to watch as a kid, it killed me.
In Beauty And The Beast I never realized similarities between Gaston & the Beast but rewatching this movie as an adult I can see how this theory could make sense.
If cinderella’s crystal shoes really fitted her then it wouldn’t fall off when she was running 😱
Glass slipper and that is a ridiculous assumption. Shoes that actually fit can easily fall off while someone is running.
I have a theory that Rapunzel is insane and she makes everything she sees in her bead also everything Gothel says is true
And doesn't care about her hair and she just let's it grow lol
Okay in Beauty and the Beast, I feel it was unfair (Not the Origin) The 'Beast' was what a thirteen years old? When a weird old lady is like "Hey let me in it's storming." He said No and she turns him and HIS SEEVANTS. Into other things beside the humans they once we're.
it's a bit more complecated then that
@@lahlybird895 Heck even the Live Action made more sense believe it or not.
@@lancethefilmguy9392 yeah
So about the Beauty And The Beast theory. If you look to the live action version. They explain that the village is under a memory spell so they can not remember the castle but it was lifted at the end
Yeah, and I think I remembered the 1991 version saying so at the beginning as well.
The dark theory for Snow White doesn't make any sense at all...
The one for the Little Mermaid did though
Especially since Disney writers at that time where trying to connect everything to little mermaid for some reason =b
the Snow White one makes the most sense
I thought both made since
We need a princess that's not as attractive as the rest. Or a princess with a disability. Orrrr a princess in modern time. Either one or all would be nice.
He's technically not a princess or prince, but, the hunchback of Notre Dame?
I’m pretty sure there’s a movie about a princess that ends up in the modern world

oh oh here´s a good one dark theories of the marvelous misadventure´s of flapjack
Bring it back i loved the marvelous misadventures of captain canuckles and flapjack

This is not a dark theory about Disney Princesses, but I made a fanfiction called The Disney Princess Family Tree on fanfiction.com and it connects some Disney princesses in a family tree on two sides
maybe...
i know one and that is:
belle mother died in the plague
Michael Jackson is actually Michael Jackson
I want a princess that is crippled, one that is blind, and one the is deaf (that may be too hard. Imagine trying to animate tiny fingers signing)
and yet again , my childhood movies are ruined by theories ...
I have a theory that belle fell into a coma and the movie took place inside her dream. This one is pretty unlikely tho.
A demigod can only be born a demigod. They're called demigod because they carry the legacy/blood of the gods
yes indeed, and you can only be a demigod if one of your parents is a god and the other a human
Lol you skipped maui's story
Bro when he said hashtag me too I died
A lot of early Disney films are based on tales from the brothers Grimm, obviously they will have dark undertones if the scource material is famous for being dark.
I'm pretty sure most castles have cell's in the basement o3o at least Hollywood thinks that the case. When ever a king says cast them to the Dungeon that where they take them in movies.
The first thing I thought about:ELSA HAS ANXIETY

I thought that she was bipolar
Exactly! I thought this too.
Bro the Belle one hit so hard. Like the scene when Gaston looks into the mirror and sees the Beast and decides to kill him...

Here’s one Elsa died three days after she quarantined her self because she had no water and both frozen movies are Anna’s dreams
RUINED MY CHILDHOOD r.i.p snowhite you were my fav princess 👑
Okay but can we talk about how heccin sad the dwarves crying at snow whites "dead" body scene is???
I have a Dark Disney Princess Theory Elsa is actually related to Rapunzel and Anna is actually related to Peter Pan
How does that work?
Patrick Cappuccio First of all, if Anna is related to Peter Pan, so is Elsa...since they’re sisters. And second, Elsa (and Anna) being related to Rapunzel is not ur theory. That’s a very well known theory that has been around for years. That’s why Rapunzel and Flynn are seen in the Frozen movie coming to Elsa’s coronation... because they’re probably related.
Disney: makes kids movies
Random adults figuring out theories: we should do it to every kids favorite movie!
Disney: well time to make another movie that looks nothing alike but is secretly alike.
The first theory about ariels mom doesn’t make sense because based on the costumes of Wendy and the darlings vrs prince Eric and all those people Peter Pan happened long after the little mermaid.
Briar Brathwaite isnt peterpan and hook didnt aged?
I have a theory, but it isn't dark. So in Peter Pan the book, in the chapter When Wendy Grew Up, it says Wendy grew up and had a daughter named Jane. What if Jane is the Jane from Tarzan! They are both British. And the time period for Peter Pan is obviously from late 1800s to early 1900s and Jane looks to be in the early 1900s. Does anybody agree??
I can believe any of this but not beauty snd the beast 😂 that movie was my childhood
they totally skipped the ending of the movie
@@merryvanveldhuizen2889 Yeah, so he wouldve become the prince or Gaston?!
Snow White is a metaphor for cocaine and the seven dwarfs are the seven side effects that happens when u take cocaine
Why did I decided to watch this at 1am in the morning while home alone...
Also to add to the Snow White theory some people believe that the prince is death is because Snow said bye to the dwarfs so many times before she disappeared with the prince and his horse
If I enjoy your videos does that make me wicked? Lol

Ever since i was a kid I've been theorizing about captian hook killing Ariels mom because of the mermaid on the ship this is such a weird coincidence
If snow is dead that means that the hunter killed her
The castle in the sky could be representing Disney world if you look closely.
Very valid point!
Belle= me, essentially. her life so incomplete she escapes into her mind
I watched the Beauty and the beast, hm, good enough.
I read the book : not sure if this is in the live action movie but EVERYONE IN THE FRICKEN CASTEL TURNED INTO A BEAST!

Do the Phineas and Ferb theory.
Can you do Red Dwarf Dark Theories please ?.
Mimi Sardinia maybe Elsa is like The next Lich king to hand the Legendary Frostmourne
in snow white, the prince was 31 and snow white was 14.
My chidhood is like Snow white
so... you were treated like a slave in your own home, force to wear rages all day and was nearly killed by your evil step parent out of jealousy?
Disney's version of Neverland is different than most by one key factor: It's a star. Other versions simply imply it a remote island still somewhere on Earth, considering the Darling children fall asleep mid-flight and nearly fall to their deaths several times before Pan saves them. That pokes a hole in the theory.
I thought I just misheard "wattpad" but I did not. Whoa.
For the first theory, about ariel's mom, you forgot that one of the mermaids in Peter Pan looks EXACTLY like a younger version of ariel's mom. that's pretty key info to the theory.
Wow this is so interesting I knew about the first n the second on but the rest! Wow just wow... 💯
I’m falling down the clickbait rabbit hole again dammit
9:40 or maybe it was a normal prison cell that old-timey castles used to have because, ya know, crime happens
Mulan is my favorite Disney princess and my favorite Disney Queen is Kida.

This is so wrong.. Bella never married Gaston she literally said no never.. so that’s ones wrong sorry🤷🏼♀️
For Moana if we see the mythology ver. she is A Demi-God
