    I bought a used M2 7 wood about a year ago. What a great club. I carry it about 170 yards, it launches high and lands soft. It also can be used from fairway bunkers. It is no surprise to me that these clubs are so popular. Thanks for the video.

      How does it fit in your bag?Does it replace a certain hybrid/iron or multiple?
      I may replace both the 4 and 5 hybrids with one.Thanks.

      @@marybetheby5184 It ended up replacing my 5 wood. at first I pulled my 4 hybrid from the bag. But the hybrid is better out of difficult lies than the 5 wood. Whatever you decide to do, make sure its a club you really like.

      Got an M2 7 wood in the bag too but it's the HL version so 24 degrees which is the same loft as most 9 woods. It's my 4 iron replacement. Goes 180 in the air and lands soft. Love it

    Good video, I have been using a 9 and 7 wood for about 20 years. Love the feel on these clubs and getting the extra distance with out the added efforts. As a older golfer. Definitely would recommend those clubs.

    Smart girl. Ping all day long !!!! I have the Ping G 425 in the 5 , 7 and 9 woods. Love them!!!!! Great point you make is one that I have known for some time is Pings flatter head is a big help. I love Ping Woods. Great review. I recently added the Ping 9 Wood. You are correct in that it has quite the high launch.

    If you asked your average older slower swinging golfer, would you like a club that flies high to ninety feet, lands softly at 170-175 yards, if 100 percent don't say yes, they are out of their minds. If you can't get your irons or hybrids above 75feet peak height, keep swapping out for woods until you reach sand wedge - and probably put a Cleveland Chipper in the bag while you are at it - playing golf will be much more enjoyable.

    • @lkae4
      @lkae4 2 года назад

      9 wood works an awful lot like a chipper, I think. I use my 7 wood. Completely eliminates flying the green and sticking the edge into the turf.

    A timely video - I've returned to the game after a long hiatus and have been considering adding a 9-wood to my bag. I already carry a 7-wood (Taylor Made V-steel). I'm also considering replacing my irons (Titleist DCI 981s that I bought new) and would love to see Jackie or Skylar (or Thomas) comparing the latest game improvement irons such as the Taylor Made Stealth, Cobra LTDx, and Cobra Forged Tec X.

    I'm glad I found your video! I'm looking at adding a 9 wood to replace my 5 hybrid since I love my 7 wood. Currently running with driver,5 and 7 woods with 5 hybrid.
    What I was hoping you'd show is the angle of approach and total height of this 9 woods.

    I'd love to see some Adam's woods and Hybrids from say the past 5 years or so to today's woods and Hybrids and how with stack up and would Adam's be a good buy for beginners getting into the game.
    I only mention this because I've been playing golf since I was a teenager and I love my Adam's woods and Hybrids. Very forgiving clubs IMO and value is still there. It's still good in today's world.

    I think you need to compare these with equivalent hybrids of the same lofts. If golfers are replacing long irons with hybrids then they need to know why a 7 and/or 9 wood would be better for them than those hybrids.

    • @dmkfactor1721
      @dmkfactor1721 2 года назад +1

      @@deepee1544 big problem with the TXG’s trial is the swing speeds of the tester. The people looking at a 7 or 9 wood is going to be someone that has a slower swing speed. If someone is swinging a hybrid over 100 mph that doesn’t transition well! TXG hasn’t been the same since Matt left, that a video he would’ve switched to righty to duplicate a slower swing speed for the mid to high handicappers! Jackie’s swing speed is similar to the majority of the golfer looking and they’ll be dramatic differences! Would love to see her do those comparisons to see what the true difference is at realistic swing speeds.

      @@dmkfactor1721 Pro's are playing 7 woods...

    • @dmkfactor1721
      @dmkfactor1721 2 года назад

      @@deepee1544 yes, absolutely they are! The only thing I was mentioning was the swing speeds, and why these are better tests for the majority of recreational golfers. You can’t look at a comparison done by someone swinging at 110+ mph driver speed when you’re swinging 90-95 mph. That’s like comparing a Ford to a Ferrari! To truly see how that club would fit in your bag you’d have to have someone with a similar swing speed, and using the same equipment you’d be fit into too. Those swing speeds are not going to produce the same results. Plus the equipment they were using was the pro versions of the Stealth, the more expensive Plus not the stuff the majority of golfers would be buying in the store the standard Stealth. It’s just not a good comparison unless your willing to shell out the extra, and have that kind of swing speed. Unless you’re an aspiring pro with those measures that test was useless! Like I said TXG hasn’t been the same since Matt left, he would hit from right, when he’s a natural lefty, to show the rec players versions. TXG is a boutique business for pros now that’s why he left.
