Travel Week - Mom Driving a Bucket Truck for 2 Full Days - Planned NOWHERE to stay

Driving, Driving, a few potty breaks, and then MORE driving.
This week was all about the journey, with NO destination in mind.
We had no where to go, but were on our way none the less.
The craziest thing that we had to adapt to (and fast) was total flexibility. Having to be ok with letting go of having 100% control and having plans mapped out.
We tried that when we first hit the road and it did not work (for us).
Our life is unique (we are very aware) and cannot keep up with most of our travel buddies and their plans. Sorry friends! You know we love you.
Last minute plans and literally traveling with absolutely no destination in mind is all due to the fact we have to go where the wind blows us, or at least near where the wind blows ...so me and the kids are in the “safe zone” while nick goes to work.
While we did have a state in mind to where we were headed, we had no true destination.
Well that all changed quickly, AND while en route.
Although Baton Rouge was NOT the original destination it was SUCH a nice surprise and we had an amazing few days hanging there while we waited for the weather to cooperate so that we could travel again.
