Walking Tour: Spa Park, Lipik, Croatia - 4K UHD Virtual Travel

Lipik is a small town located in the Pannonian part of Croatia (Slavonia), near the town of Daruvar. Its spa complex and the surrounding park are at the heart of Lipik and a crucial part of its identity. Lipik Spa park was created at the end of the 19th century, when spas across Europe were often conceived after the idea of ​​a garden city. In its prime time Lipik Spa was a well-known health resort of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, visited by many high-ranking guests. Unfortunately, after the Second World War, many of the spa and park contents disappeared, were demolished or simply left to ravages of time. In 1991, during the Yugoslav break-up war, the park was almost completely devastated. Today citizens of Lipik invest a lot of energy to return it to its former glory because of its unique cultural and historical value. As you can see for yourself in this video, this old gem of a park in Lipik is an ideal place for walking and relaxation. :)
