I can't think of anything to comment, so here's a cinnamon roll recipe: Ingredients For the Dough: 1 cup whole milk one 1/4-ounce packet active dry yeast (2 1/2 teaspoons) 1/4 cup plus 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, plus more for the bowl 1 large egg yolk 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more if needed 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg For the Filling: All-purpose flour, for dusting 12 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened, plus more for the pan 1/2 cup granulated sugar 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon For the Glaze: 2 cups confectioners' sugar 1/3 cup heavy cream 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted Directions Make the dough: Warm the milk in a medium saucepan over low heat until it reaches about 100. Remove from the heat and sprinkle in the yeast and 1/4 teaspoon sugar (don't stir). Set aside until foamy, 5 minutes. Whisk in the melted butter, egg yolk and vanilla. Whisk the flour, the remaining 1/4 cup sugar, the salt and nutmeg in the bowl of a stand mixer. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture. Mix on low speed with the dough hook until thick and slightly sticky. Knead on medium speed until the dough gathers around the hook, 6 minutes. (Add up to 2 more tablespoons flour if necessary.) Remove the dough and shape into a ball. Butter the mixer bowl and return the dough to the bowl, turning to coat with butter. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until doubled, 1 hour 15 minutes. Roll out the dough, fill and cut into buns (see instructions below). Butter a 9-by-13-inch baking pan; place the buns cut-side down in the pan, leaving space between each. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise until doubled, 40 minutes. Preheat the oven to 325. Bake the buns until golden brown, about 35 minutes. Cool in the pan 15 minutes. Meanwhile, make the glaze: Sift the confectioners' sugar into a bowl, then whisk in the cream and melted butter. Transfer the buns to a rack and spoon the glaze on top while still warm. How to Form Cinnamon Buns 1. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a 12-by-14-inch rectangle with the longer side facing you. 2. Spread with the softened butter, leaving a 1/2-inch border on the far long edge. Mix the sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the butter. 3. Brush the unbuttered far edge with water. Roll the dough away from you into a tight cylinder and press on the long edge to seal. 4. Cut the cylinder with a sharp knife to make 6 equal-size buns.
Dude your videos have helped me so much I started wake boarding 2 weeks ago went from not being able to get up to almost jumping wake to wake I'm excited for more videos and doing bigger tricks thanks
One of my favorite videos yet. Best part was the details on boat type, Wake size, rope length, speeds, etc. Just added a park board to my set and love it behind the boat (with fins though).
Thanks for the insight! I always thought it can't be so bad to use a cable board behind a boat. In any case I am keeping my previous board with possible fins addition in case I go behind a boat.
This video makes me happy! Sick riding like always David. You killed it on that S.O.B finless. Now throw some 0.8" fins on it and you just might reduce your quiver down to one board.
hahah Noooo way. Never thought you'd see this lol!! Yes, I'm 100% going to try that. I have to say, watching back the over the video, although it's not hammers, I like how playful it is!! Thanks for making a sick board!
Yeah, you definitely get more pop with a fin board into a wake, going flat. It's like snowboarding with a springy board going into a lip flat at slower speeds. It's hard to describe, but I know exactly what you're saying! Thumbs up on this video for sure!
12k subs! Great video again. Good info on rope length, speed, board, and board fin stuff. Wife is having difficultly since I pulled the fins from her board :). She's edging now though!
Thank you for a great video. I was worried about what board to buy for my first one and went for a Hybrid so I get the best of both worlds. I love watching your videos, then going out and putting it all into practice at the park. Keep it up!
Hey brother, great video. After years off the board regularly... I just picked up a board and looking forward to having a little fun. I am completely a beginner but I really enjoy watching your videos. Tons of great information from start to end of boarding. Thanks for posting and look forward to catching up on your other videos.
I was riding a Paradigm as my boat board for years, it was really even more of a cable board then the SOB. The flex seemed to suit my riding maybe because of the way you could load it and I loved that thing until it got damaged. Unfortunately I found the SOB sat too deep in the water for me so i'm riding a Spark these days. I say riding, i have only ridden once since September last year.
Sick riding man, i just broke my 4th metatarsal in my foot yesterday on helside w2w... I hope i recover quick and get back into it! thanks for the motivation everyday!
Thankyou man, love your videos! My 8 year old son wants to be just like you. I live 30 minutes from OWC.. one of theese days I would love to get the lesson with shaun murray. you two are my fav riders, loved the recent doubles video!
Great video! I just learned how to switch from left foot forward to right foot with my fins in and I'm hoping that taking them out with make it a lot easier. Keep up the good work👍🏻
I ride with no fins and it's a really old board. I can clear the wake without and can do a surface 360 fairly easily and honestly I enjoy no fins much more than with fins
would love to see you do this with fins :) I have the 2016 sob and been tempted to give it a try behind the boat, despite having a seperate boat board XD
This video was 🔥 loved it. I could tell how much you were slipping😂. And i saw you mention that people have wanted longer videos but if you think the content is not "worthy" of being in the video i think we will understand that you want the best content and no boring stuff but i haven't seen a boring vid yet its all amazing and fun.
hahaha Thanks Cody. Yeah I always film about 25 to 30 mins of footage but cut it down as I don't want crap in there. Like nobody wants to see me taking off my bindings hahah Thanks Cody!
hey Dave, I was wondering if your doc wake website was still functional. this weekend I started working on my heelside backroll and was wondering if I could get a few pointers for a small well deserved fee. thanks again for the content
Hey, how are you. Really sorry, I took it down a little over 2 weeks ago to make a few changes and upgrades, and like everything i'm taking longer to get it finished than i should (wakeboarding keeps distracting me lol). Hopefully online before next weekend :)
Hi David! Great video! :) I am wondering,,, I have a flat cable board, but it does have 4 fins which I can add,, but they are really thick. I board behind a boat, and I am having trouble landing my tricks,, w2w is no problem, but anything with 180, 360 or flip w2w I keep slipping,, i am scared that when I add those fins I will faceplant so hard... what would you advise? Haha
Yo man ! I ride on the sea and on cable, I will probably buy an O'brien Fade soon because I can buy it at a good price, do you think it's a good choice ? Knowing that I ride sometimes in wawy conditions. Thanks a lot and all the best ! Thanks for your vids and cheers from Paris :)
What do you do for ballast on your X1? I have a 2005 X2 with the same hull and seem to struggle to weigh it down right consistently, depending on passenger numbers.
I use a park board because they are so much bigger. Yes while very slippery it will help overweight people to ride. Im 6'5" and 375lbs. Hahaha i love to ride i try to go every week. Used to go every day! Slingshot nomad 160 ;-)
David If I can ask a question that probably plenty people ask? I am planning to buy O'Brien Indie. I spent more time in wake park, learning now raley, but in the meantime I am renovating my classic motorboat Glastron V184 in which I want to have a waketower or post. I know that there is a difference in cable and boat board. Should I think about board with fins that can be removed or stay with Indie (that has no fins) which I like so much and have fun? Be honest I tried twice behind the boat. Other way maybe try to safe some money and buy a boat board in future:) and have two??? Please help, case Ian quite confused:))) TinAdvcd
Stupid question, but you were talking about how there's a cable board and a boat board. I just got a new Hyperlite state 2.0. And it's great on the boat, but would it work at the cable park?
hey, yeah that's unreal. So you can ride it on the cable no problem. The only issue is it won't last as long as a cable board on the obstacles as it's built without a slider base (different material). But i'm sure if it's only every now and then it will be fine :)
David O'Caoimh sweet. Thanks for the reply bro. Love your channel. Just subscribed a couple days ago and I can't stop watching your videos. Keep up the good work🤙🏼🤙🏼
I can't think of anything to comment, so here's a cinnamon roll recipe:
Ingredients
For the Dough:
1 cup whole milk
one 1/4-ounce packet active dry yeast (2 1/2 teaspoons)
1/4 cup plus 1/4 teaspoon granulated sugar
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted, plus more for the bowl
1 large egg yolk
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more if needed
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
For the Filling:
All-purpose flour, for dusting
12 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened, plus more for the pan
1/2 cup granulated sugar
3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
For the Glaze:
2 cups confectioners' sugar
1/3 cup heavy cream
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
Directions
Make the dough: Warm the milk in a medium saucepan over low heat until it reaches about 100.
(Add up to 2 more tablespoons flour if necessary.)
Remove the dough and shape into a ball.
How to Form Cinnamon Buns

2. Spread with the softened butter, leaving a 1/2-inch border on the far long edge. Mix the sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the butter.

4. Cut the cylinder with a sharp knife to make 6 equal-size buns.
ahaha

You should try a what's possible on boat with no tower or pylon!
hahah Joel, i'm 100% gunna do that soon. It's got me written all over it haha
I did it behind a jet ski with no pylon.
12k subs! Great video again. Good info on rope length, speed, board, and board fin stuff. Wife is having difficultly since I pulled the fins from her board :). She's edging now though!
hahah that's brilliant. Delighted for her!! :)
Thank you for a great video. I was worried about what board to buy for my first one and went for a Hybrid so I get the best of both worlds. I love watching your videos, then going out and putting it all into practice at the park. Keep it up!
that was some sweet smooth riding... makes me want to get out there....this is my season of 3'2 and backside 180.. :-)) tks.

Kaumiyadax {BXSE} I know Markgold Smith
bro you're killing it on both!
Challenge: see what you can do in wavy conditions ;)
hahahah I accept the challenge!
Liked the info at the beginning. Thanks
I ride with no fins and it's a really old board. I can clear the wake without and can do a surface 360 fairly easily and honestly I enjoy no fins much more than with fins
Landan, that's unreal, and yeah, if you love it like that then keep doing it that way as it's all preference :)
I have one wakeboard and it's a 140 or 142 I forgot and it's a cable board byerly bp 2015 model and it's nice for both boat and cable
would love to see you do this with fins :) I have the 2016 sob and been tempted to give it a try behind the boat, despite having a seperate boat board XD
You should do a video on how to say the perfect "Yeww!"
hahah it's tough to get it perfect lol. Years of experience multiple times daily
This video was 🔥 loved it. I could tell how much you were slipping😂. Great video David keep up your awesome work 🤘🤘🤘😜👍 Yewww
thank you!! I will!! :) :)
Nice video. I also tried to ride with my cable board without fins and i was really struggling to edge in and to pop...

Your jacket: nice bit of patriotic pride! 🍀
hahah the irish wakeboard team gear!!
David O'Caoimh Brilliant! Tokyo 2020 next?
David O'Caoimh In other news: have you considered doing a collaboration with Drone Girl? Her aerial shots are excellent and she is based near Dublin
My first board was a cable board and I had to ride it behind the boat.. It was only when I got a boat board then I realised how much easier it is
hahah yeah 100% makes it easier, but it's doable on a cable board for sure
Great vid. Next vid is Wakescoot?
ohooohooooo. That's a solid idea!! :)
David do you think to buy a Hybrid board to practice in the boat and the cable is the better option?
Hi David! Great video! :)
I am wondering,,, I have a flat cable board, but it does have 4 fins which I can add,, but they are really thick. I board behind a boat, and I am having trouble landing my tricks,, w2w is no problem, but anything with 180, 360 or flip w2w I keep slipping,, i am scared that when I add those fins I will faceplant so hard... what would you advise? Haha
Dave! what about riding a boat board in a cable park? it is a bad idea? I only have a boat setup though.
Yo man ! I ride on the sea and on cable, I will probably buy an O'brien Fade soon because I can buy it at a good price, do you think it's a good choice ? Knowing that I ride sometimes in wawy conditions. Thanks a lot and all the best ! Thanks for your vids and cheers from Paris :)
do another mastering the basics video
yeeess I actually want to do more basic videos :)
thank you so much for responding you got me into cable sports and im about to go to a cable park right now XD
Awsome Videos as always!
Still riding my first board (with molded in finns and channels), so I do exactly the opposite almost every day. :d
Is-it hard for you to have different stance width between your cable and your boat board ?
Nice vid man !
What do you do for ballast on your X1? I have a 2005 X2 with the same hull and seem to struggle to weigh it down right consistently, depending on passenger numbers.
Do people ride boat boards at cable parks, if they take the fins off the ends?
Can you try the SOB with fins behind the boat please.... I want one and would like to also use it behind the boat
what about a cable board with the side fins put in?
Can you use a boat wakeboard in a cable park though ?
Your content is really helpful, i cant quite get past your accent though, are you irish or australian?
So im starting to get i to wakeboarding should I buy one with fins or without
Any boards you recommend for the use of both? Looking 136 maybe 138. Cheers
Im beginner so what you recommend me wakeboard size and pls share any video link for me
Great video man !
thanks lad!
What kinda rope was the real rope at the end of the video on the dock
Hey Tristyn, do you mean the green rope? It's an old straighline rope and handle.
sick video
thank you!!
Would you ever ride for hyperlite
I use a park board because they are so much bigger. Yes while very slippery it will help overweight people to ride. Im 6'5" and 375lbs. Hahaha i love to ride i try to go every week. Used to go every day! Slingshot nomad 160 ;-)
How tight should my bindings be?
i'd say as tight as comfortable :) :)
You are Awesome!!!! 8)
You don’t use fins behind boat eh? Yeah what are your thoughts on them, better with or without
I bet the landings into flats are harder then boat board.
David If I can ask a question that probably plenty people ask? I am planning to buy O'Brien Indie. I spent more time in wake park, learning now raley, but in the meantime I am renovating my classic motorboat Glastron V184 in which I want to have a waketower or post. Zachary Catterlin I had that blank as well too. really helps build confidence approaching toeside
hey, yeah that's unreal. So you can ride it on the cable no problem. The only issue is it won't last as long as a cable board on the obstacles as it's built without a slider base (different material). But i'm sure if it's only every now and then it will be fine :)

Mark Goldsmith teaches me how to wake bored

My cousin brady patry rode his cable board behind my boat and its a stern drive with no tower. In ruff water he was doing 180 wake to wakes
He rides for hyperlite looking up. Bad ass!
do a video : what is possible with a normal boat (without a waketower and normal wakes)
I know, that's my type of vid to make. Gunna try get to it soon!! :)
What speed to you go?
Where can I buy the O’Brien at?
Hey, it depends where you live, but chances are theres a dealer nearish to where you live or ride :)

Dave!!! When are you announcing that new sponsor? Or have I missed it? Haha
hahah I promise this week. I promise!!!
A mastercraft will “do the job”?
would you ride a boat comp on your cable board?
hahah i don't think I would. But if need be, i'd say it would be pretty okay with some fins
So this is how i find out i'm riding a wakeboard thought for boats on the cable hm
Is four fins better than two
I'm thinking about a cwb dowdy
