  • What wildlife does a trail cam capture in the Don Valley, Toronto, Canada, when it is left for 7 days? Animals recorded this week include Raccoons, Deer and Coyotes.
    00:00 Coyotes
    00:36 White Tailed Deer
    00:42 Coyote
    00:45 Raccoon Babies
    01:15 White Tailed Deer
    Further notes:
    ===========
    No bait is put out to attract the animals. The presence of cameras are already a change in their natural environment.
    I've not shared the location of where the camera is. This location is mostly free of humans, leading to it's ability to be used as an animal highway in the first place. No matter how well-meaning some people wish to be, it's best for the animals to keep other humans away.
    FAQ
    ------
    Q. What is the camera being used?
    It's a Voopeak TC15. It's a deliberately cheap camera so if a more ape-like creature stumbles across it and steals it, I'm not too out of pocket.
    Q. Where are the cameras?
    They are near-ish to Lawrence Ave and the Don Valley Parkway, but not in the Charles Sauriol Conservation Park, as there's just too many people there who a) might steal or interfere with the cameras, or b) just keep the animals away. I know (from the camera records) that I'm nearly always the only human on the patches of land that I use for this channel.
