Very thoughtful of them to show what a garage looks like when it's not being used to store vehicles...

I would have liked to have seen 4 cars in there.

That’s what I was thinking too. A nice workshop.

    It is quite nice
    But
    In this day, and age
    Should you not be thinking
    About
    Getting something off griddish?

Very true. I would like to find a few acres up in either red rock area off grid on a well with solar. It’s way north of Reno on the way to susanville. Easy access to pyramid lake and Frenchman’s lake and lake Davis. I don’t know if I can convince wifey and kids to live like that but I could buy the land and start small. Maybe even just buy some secluded land and build and underground bunker. No structures.

There were a lot of great deals pre pandemic
      100 acres from $30k to $50k
You’ll probably have to settle for less acreage
      Just
      Keep an eye on Zillow
I think Billy Land is still around
Do it while you are still young enough
      Get on the auctions
With businesses failing in this economy
You can pickup backhoes, bobcats, and building supplies for dirt cheap
      Excavate
      Lay down vapor barrier
      Pour some concrete
      Stack some cinder blocks
      Fill it we supplies
Cover it all up with dirt
      I’m
pretty sure you can talk some relatives/homies
      Into
      Splitting costs, and labor.

My parents already live up in the hills outside of Carson City but they are still too close to other people. We have an area called Virginia Highlands that I have been looking at but I think the secret is out because the prices have gone up a lot. For now its...hide in plain sight lol. @@amsb4dafunk558

What is the HOA for this community?

    • @mixflip
      @mixflip  7 месяцев назад

I don’t know? In my experience HOAs are usually very low with brand new neighborhoods that are not gated or have no security guards because everything is still brand new not broken and the trees are small. HOA fees go up as things break more or grow bigger and need trimming.
