Lisa and Jisoo were absolute standouts to me in "The Happiest Girl"! Jisoo is actually slaying me with each song lol and Lisa, wow I was not expecting her vocals here. Had to do a double take because I almost didn't recognize her 😂 Her vocals definitely improved!

Lisa has a very unique and rare voice .. like every thing she does it feels like it's made for her .. either it rap , pop , r&b .. this gurl is insanely talented ... brooo her heavenly vocals in happiest girl ... I can't describe it ! it's a chef kiss a masterpiece .. like that 3 to 4 lines made me so emotional and made me feel something that a whole f**king sad song can never do that to me .. My theory about this album: this is the beginning of a new era...a new sound. In the shut down mv jenlisa shutdown a room that has the tank and you know the memories of their previous songs and are now stepping towards something new. Thats why this album sounds so different and so nostalgic in a way.

In fact! Lisa was trained to be vocal position at the beginning and she got all "A" after class test in every position even vocal, dance and rap.
Finally, she was debuted as main dance and rap. I don't surprise about her voice at all and I am happy for her that everyone heard her voice tho.

Lisa was trained to be vocalist since she was very young (in Thailand). She got A from every evaluation of YG. Just that we couldn’t get a lot of chance to hear she sings.

FYI, Lisa was the only member to get straight As during monthly evaluation so she definitely can sing it's just that they didn't give her a chance to showcase her vocal abilities and just wanted her to be stuck as a dancer and rapper!
Lisa is insecure with her singing voice, which is why she doesn't sing much, as time goes by, she becomes more comfortable. Lisa even said "do I sound okay" and that she was worried when her and Rosie did the LOVE collab performance together.
