Psycho Carlos mind blown
Demoed on the Reverb channel with Andy from Reverb
Yo dawg, I heard you like reverb, so I put reverbs on reverb so you can shop for reverbs while you’re on reverb
ACA awesome comment award
Spring King is awesome for its price. Love mine.
"But first, here's my clean tone."
an andy classic
Graham Coxon: Most under rated guitarist ever.
Amazing demo! Thank you so much Reverb team and the legendary Andy 😍🙏
Alex - you're on a roll now - That Pedal Show, Ryan '60 Cycle Hum' Burke, and now the Maestro - Andy Martin - you could not ask for more :) - all really great demos for the Element
Stefan Karlsson full circle? We also found some good surprise for you folks ;)
Nicest sounding of those tested by far
For anyone who isn't familiar, the first song was a wonderful tune, "The Universal" by Blur.
Thanks! I knew it but couldn't find it in my crap memories...
I could not believe it i figured it out after a lil second made me respect andy so much more
Andy rules!
Also - Anasounds for the win! What a cool design and a smooth reverb.
That Orion sounds great!
Hi ryan!
It should have been called oryan
jeremy ledingham oh hello
Here is a man who digs the spring drip. You're awesome, Ryan!
I'm actually considering getting myself the Crazy Tube Circuits White Whale just so I can put next to my Pine-Box Customs Ahab on my pedalboard. XD
Awesome! Love you tagging in Living Colour' "Solace Of You" chords at the end of the Orion demo!
that final riff was sick as hell
Andy your song choices once again impress and comfort me
Sprin King all the way!!
can you do a range of amp types with pricings? like good clean solid state, dirty solid state, clean tube, and dirty tube amps?
Thats my favorite pedal! Turn it on and everything sounds great, even if you have no Andy's hands in your rig.
Yes it really, really, really could haaaaappeeeeeeeeeen...
Andy.....STOP MAKING ME BUY PEDALS MY WIFE IS GONNA KILL ME!!!!!
lol in all seriousness great job.....again......lol you’re the best
😂😂😂 that's a good one
Hauntingly beautiful sound and combination of things at 4:00
Breaking out vintage Blur….I didn’t know you had it in you. Bravo!
I want that invisible pick too! Available on reverb?
Love a bit o' Blur! :-)
blur. you met Coxon didn't you Andy? cool
The Universal... as always Andy your taste is impeccable.
I wanna get the Anasounds one and mount the tank to the bottom of my pedal board!
Excellent Video Andy!!! Rock On!!
I am in love with all of these 😻😻😻
The Orion is beautiful
PS: just bought the Anasound Element w/ all three springs. Turns out you can use third party spring units with the core Element pedal. Great for the studio.
No one is more serious than Andy saying “grit”
You choked out Robbie Lawler
They are all really close. For me, the white whale’s smaller size and the tremolo makes it a no brainer. Especially if you dont want a full fledged trem pedal on your board (which I dont)
For the win it's a Surfy Bear Metal. The best. The trail offs on a real spring can NOT be beat. I love analog.
I can't believe how inexpensive the Danelectro is considering how good it sounds.
Great comparsion. Thx...
Who else thinks the Anasounds is the warmer most natural sounding one?
The Universal
If I made reverb pedals myself I'd put real springs in all of them!
Had enough of those cheap digitals, shamelessly labeled "true spring reverb" or "true plate reverb"
They show up first when you search the web,
without even admitting it's just an emulation
Are these pedals able to do the shatter sound-effect if jarred in modest manner while playing?
@@bonsummers2657 That's an easy one, just a pre recorded sample of the shattering
But hey, we could go further and issue a guitar software plugin
that emulates what a typical guitarist would do with a female fan backstage
oh! yep, adding the white whale to my Reverb feed.
RVB from Tech 21 is lit. No actual springs but sounds great
Great video ! My money would go to the White Whale.
C'mon Andy, ya killing me here. You've had that CME Les Paul for almost a year now and still haven't taken is through the specs. RIP PGS Les Paul
The Anasounds Element , I think you can also connect a twin reverb tank on that driver, yeah looks like a winner.
Anasounds is freaking genius. One concern would be if you're tapping pedals if it would noise up the tank under the board, with tapping and such. But I imagine it wouldn't be that bad.
The Dano one sounds like Tommy Bolin when Andy kicked the kick-pad.
Blur the universal damn Andy you amaze me with the song library you chose from
Great demonstration
Thanks for sharing
As a thought it would be interesting to hear a real spring pedal against a budget spring reverb pedal
The only ones that had a hint of that drip are the Spring King and the Orion
That drip in the spring king is boosted by a chip but once u disable it, it sounds even better
Here was me thinking the Anasounds would be king. I think it suffered against the others, despite the coolness.
Damn, I have to postpone dental implantation to buy one of those :/
Okay, just take my whole damn stimulus check!
@9:30 I need that tone
The spring King is the.. King. Totally transparent. The white whale is good too but the Orion surprised me by how much it changed the clean tone of the guitar. And in a way I wasn't fond of
I felt the same about the Spaceman. It's a shame, I tried to make that pedal work but it just wouldn't. I really love the Carl martin Headroom Real Spring and I/m gonna try out the White Whale soon.
@@winstonsmith8236 any luck
Yo Dawg, I herd you like reverb, so I put an spring in your reverb so you can reverb while you visit reverb.
I have a nice spring reverb tank from fender
I dig reverb, but only when other people are using it. 🤓
I know it always seems to just sound muddy when I’m playing. Then someone else can be jamming on my same rig and it sound great. It’s weird. Guess it’s just in our head.
I could have sworn I was the only one!
The secret is Less is more
Haha what a nice way to say that!
I placed a battery powered Roland Micro Cube amp in a tiled public toilet/rest room, plugged in my guitar and started to play. It was a shit idea for recording natural reverb. The brown sound.
Hey Andy - you been watching Dan and Mick this week!......
If you can find one, valvetrain spring thing is the real deal.
White Whale IS the F**k Boss
The white whale sounds so big. I wanted to like the spring king...but...the white whale!
he clearly had more fun with the kickpad than anything else
I'm just here to watch Andy drip.
Man, Orion sounds great in this and the other Reverb vid comparing it to a few digital verbs. Yet tmost of the other demos on line (by other people) really have bad tone to begin with, iphone mic, etc. I love a well produced demo vid. Really liking the Orion, but also been into the Surfrider III belton brick verb...
The Spring King is ridiculous.
Hello, perhaps do you remember how the driven sound at 2:20 was produced? Thanks
OK how about Reverb Pedals that are good plate sounding.
Catalinbread Talisman can't be beat for vintage plate sounds!
Vokonis - Official pretty much THE plate option. I miss mine.
So what kind would I be looking for to nail a CCR kuston amp sound?
Cool
How does the lee jackson mr. Springyy compare?
What would happen if you stack the reverbs
Springs are a big problem on stages that are not all that sold. People moving on stage and the drums make the springs vibrate and you hear a rumble. Not good. Been there done that.
I like the White Whale and ( not shown here ) the Carl Martin Headroom Reverb Unit = ( incredible ) and the S.A. True Spring - all Sound Fantastic or just get a Lexicon Rack and make Everyone Envious. Still The Best Reverb I have ever heard ( bar none ). Andy has the Supernatural on his Pedalboard . . . he knows !!!
Have you tried the anasounds
Anybody know what overdrive pedal he kicked on with the anasounds?
What's the last song Andy is playing? That riff is sick.
Do springs= analog?
Yeah sure ! Spring Reverbs and Plate Reverbs are actually the only analog reverbs that exist. But Plates are huge and they're not made for home studio/live.
Spring Reverbs are affordable and very user friendly, but beware...they're really addictive too 😁
What is the first song? It sounds familiar but I just forgot the name
Demeter's Spring Real Reverb & DREADBOX's HYPNOSIS are missing!
What guitar tele model
No Surfybear?
Sacertin I’m gunna throw my surfy bear against the anasounds, spring king and a fender unit soon.
60 Cycle Hum Great, I love mine, its my favourite piece of gear.
I bough the kit version, its the cheapest and the best option out there, a no brainer if you know how to solder stuff.
Does it drip
Clay's Guitar Corner id drips like crazy, its a replica of the fender tube reverb unit but without the tubes
I've searched the Internet for a real review of this pedal and IT'S NEVER MOUNTED under a pedal board... Everybody repeat what the manufacturer says but we never see it in real action = What's the interaction of the power supplies with one of these reverb tanks? I've had the Sole Mate jr from Van Amps that was designed that way but when you mounted the tank underneath a pedal board or put the tank inside an amp it produced horrible hum and hiss along with the Reverb... I do want a real spring reverb like that but want to make sure it works before buying. If anybody did mount it underneath a board with a pedal power supply near it, please comment!
And the winner is... Boss FRV-1!!!
The Orion pedal reminds me of Grizzly Bear
Those pedals all sound great but none of them seem to drip that much.
Now do four wah/cry baby pedals with real baby :D
11:29 I'll try this
Can’t believe he didn’t have the Carl Martin Headroom in this. Beautiful sounding pedal, destroys most of these.
Which ones does it not destroy?
1:45 what song is that?
next up... the Electro Harmonix spring onion reverb
No Carl Martin Headroom?
Song at 9:25?
Are these pedals able to do the whip-shatter sound-effect if jarred in modest manner while playing? Like done in this performance: ruclips.net/video/PmUtegJcERc/видео.html
I shave the anasounds and it can do this.
by vermona
or one can help out Tris and buy a Little Lanilei
Universal health care would be nice for all of us...
So, you guys saw that TPS episode last week too, huh?
First song?
Simonthan The Universal by Blur
Would love to see the ocean's 11 compared to these
Anthony Sclafani I’ll do it
The Orion sounds the best out of all of them, but then again it should: it costs a full grand.
Why does it seem that every time TPS show does something Reverb does the same thing shortly after?
Some one HAS to be first right? Does it really matter🤔🤔 kidding aside , also I think pedal manufactures request vids from multiple reviewers, with new pedal release dates.
It really really really could happen
