Tip:
I couldn't use the keyboard shortcut ... but ... I could use the 'F12' key to do this.
And when I was in the 'networks' tab I did need to press 'CRT+R' to start making it register my actions.
Then indeed I just needed to click on the songs in messenger and they would pop up in the networks tab; from there I just needed to double click them and they instantly downloaded to my PC ^^
Now I have the songs my long distance girlfriend sang to me ;-)

Worked. In Chrome the entry started with "blob" instead of "audioclip", but the solution was the same

@@MamaiRimai-rf2qg I took the phone that has a screen recorder (it was an old phone), opened the voice message and recorded it as a video using the screenshots. I saved and transferred the video to my phone using Bluetooth. I extracted the sound from the video using the application and got a saved audio track of the msg voice message.

if pressing "ctrl" + "shift" + "i" all at the same time, doesn't work then you can normally right click just about anywhere within the page and then click "inspect" which should be an option normally to the bottom of the window that pops up when you right click. Depending on what browser you are using the "inspect element" menu may show up to the right or bottom of the page, for the google chrome browser it shows up to the right but for internet explorer it shows up at the bottom, however the steps are still the same :). I hope this is of some use. :)
Oh and also, the three dots are not required for this method, This tutorial is a little old now :').
i got the audio file to play on another tab but im not able to download it?
Try using a recording software like obs or bandicam but check to make sure it is a legitimate download link and not a scam copy. ^-^

when you click on the audio clip from within the network tab after playing the recording for a bit it will open a new window prompting you automatically to save the audio file to your pc. It just didn't show on the video because I didn't set the recording software up properly :)
Doesn't appear in the network list when I click play.
That is weird, perhaps try refreshing the page and or clearing the browsers cookies? might work might not. :')
@@Olectralab ah, yes. It was strange. It took 10 mins of playing around restarting browser and eventually it did work, but it also did not show up as an audio clip. It was most odd and only showed up when I had given up, left the browser on that page for a few minutes. When I looked back it had appeared. It wasn't a large file or anything so I don't understand why it took so long to show up.

I am not actually sure sorry. but I am sure another tech wizzard in the comments will know :)
Not as a default, but you can change the type of file by changing the filename from .mp4 to .mp3 or whatever you need.

Audio clip isnt popping up
Oh no I hpoe they didn't patch it. I'm sorry but I have been out of the game so long I probably couldn't do it myself anymore. Some of these tutorials I make because I know I am going to forget how to do it myself. I hope someone else in the comments with superioir experience saves the day for you. Sorry I can't be of much assistance :').

It does - I got a weird screen the first time I went into network, clicked into all the other tabs, then when I clicked back into network the UI had changed and the audio file was there - double click to download (No download option on right click in the CtrlShift I menu either for some reason?)
