Arguably the worst interviewers I've ever seen, no joke. 'People' should be ashamed to have their brand on this interview. No clue who those two ladies were, but heavens to Betsy that was painful to watch and listen to their screeching at Wendy.

This really made me uncomfortable that she wasn't listening and kept presuming and interrupting Wendy, it's very disrespectful as an interviewer to interrupt your guest 💁🏼

I love Wendy she caught the condescending tone of the women in the green. Wendy threw old lady shade calling the interviewer New Girl and then half-heartedly redirected the conversation to describing her wig "New Bitch". Clearly, the women didn't do her research because she would have known the answers to all the questions she was asking. She would have also known that Wendy talks openly about these topics often.
I thought I was the only one that caught that 😄. Yeah they kept overtalking being rude, maybe she was intimidated.

I had thyroid disease and was losing my hair till I removed my breast implants, they were causing all kinds of autoimmune disease women dont realize.

this is the prettiest i've seen wendy in her fifties. the makeup is flawless. and she knew she was coming to do a wig wearing segment--her hairpiece passes for exquisitely coifed weave. very nice.

I have Graves diease too and when my hair thinned out i cut my hair off and let it grow back natural and now I have a head full of thick hair I was diagnosed 6 YRS ago and my hair is down my back and yes I take thyroid meds every day

My mom had cancer almost 20 years ago and wore wigs (I was only 3 so I didn't really know). She's been in remission and has hypoactive thyroid but nothing that Wendy mentioned.

This was really nice of Wendy to share. I had no idea about some of the symptoms.
To everyone saying that they thought/think she's a man, ridiculous. First of all: biologically born females can have masculine physical appearance characteristics. As a matter of fact, no one is born perfectly feminine/masculine looking. We are a product of the mixed DNA from both of parents. Secondly: even if she was trans (which I digress, she isn't) then why do you care or decide to mention that? It shouldn't matter to you unless you're her partner. Thirdly: she's given birth. And lastly: as a white person, even I notice how nasty society is towards more masculine looking black women then they are towards the majority of white women who happen to look more on the masculine side. People call white women who are taller than typical females 'models' while insisting that black women of the same stature are somehow born male. Stop with the nonsense people, and stop trying to tear successful women down

most black women suffer from comparison coming from some white women who want to draw them as less even ugly than them...this is quite sad. Everybody is beautiful and all hair is not the same. just try to love your hair as it is and to know them better to know how to treat them well.

When a woman gets used to the ease of extensions and wigs, sometimes it's very difficult to go back to wearing your real hair whether you have a head full of hair not. I personally have a head full of hair although it's thin and not as long as I would like it to be. I just have no interest in wearing my hair out.
Life is so much easier with wigs. They're cost effective and stimulate growth by requiring less manipulation of the natural hair, all while keeping the, "do something with your hair" comments out of people's mouth.

FYI some thyroid diseases cause a lack of iodine in the blood, which causes thinning hair.

The woman in green needs to learn how to make her wig look more realistic by thinning the parting, creating baby hairs or something. You can’t just plop it on your head and expect it to look good. There’s no excuse for looking like that with all the dedicated websites/RUclips tutorials out there. Wendy has someone to do that for her so her hair is always looking good.

Wendy's story was actually interesting but the interviewer kept trying to cut it short only to talk about herself.
It is obviously a vanity thing auntie wendy. Even if a disease causes your hair to be thin, you want your hair to not look thin so it's still a vanity thing.

It's not necessarily that she doesn't want to be seen with thinning hair, it's the fact that she's in show business and her hair has to be styled every single day. If it's already thinning, that much heat and styling will cause further damage.

Do you think that her show would be successful if she were more homely looking without her hair being styled? I take really good care of my hair and I'm lucky to have healthy hair because I love it so much. like I said there is nothing wrong with wanting to look pretty and wearing hats or wigs to make yourself feel better and look better. there is nothing at all wrong with what wendy or anyone else does. but it does come down to vanity, we and others do judge ourselves and others based on how they look, it's sad but true.
