- WE WENT ON A BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY ROAD TRIP TO TAGAYTAY, AND FOUND OURSELVES IN A UNIQUE SWITZERLAND THEMED CAFE COMMUNITY!
The day starts off with some mango buying along the road in Alfonso Cavite. I had a funny awkward moment, but that didn't stop me from enjoying the beauty of the back roads! Reaching Tagaytay, we head for a place called "Crosswinds"... it is a beautiful pine tree housing community. You definitely get some Baguio feels walking around the area! I noticed a few European vibes vibes, and even a Switzerland flag as we ate lunch and explored a bakery/coffee shop. From Crosswinds Tagaytay, we head back to Alfonso area, and check out a local chocolate shop called "Tablea Batirol". It is actually Therine's favorite local tablea... we had to buy some and various treats to bring back to Maragondon!
Speaking of Maragondon... it was one of the hottest places in the Philippines! So we took a quick swim at Paraiso de June Quixote Ecofarm Resort. You can find a giant hanging bridge and many other attractions here. But we just went to quickly take a swim in their giant pool!
Just some raw life updates and a little road trip around Cavite!
POWER ON!

Crosswinds Tagaytay is modelled after Switzerland with its houses and 20,000 pine trees planted which were imported from the said country. The climate is a lot, lot better than Metro Manila with the highest heat index at 32°C only and as the night sets in, it goes down to 24-25°C. In December up to February, temperature can go down to as low as 17-18°C. Its high elevation of 1,902 feet or 634 meters above sea level accounts for its cooler climate.
Can't believe Tagaytay is a beautiful place, thank you Kulas and Therine for sharing 👍👍👍
those chocolate covered coffee beans look good. I once unintentionally ate a whole bag of chocolate covered kona coffee espresso beans. i forgot about the caffeine and i was wired for several hours.😄
Nice houses in crosswinds we say Lusan the little Europe of Tagaytay
Thank you so much Kulas for visiting us with Ms Therine, next time we will let you experience tablea making here in Alfonso ofcourse with Tablea Batirol , just let us know 😍😍😍
Nice! A refreshing trip to go through and watch on. I am from Dasmarinas, Cavite and I frequently visiting Alfonso but I didn't know that there's a chocolate factory somewhere there. By the way what's the name of the factory again, if you don't mind?
10:05 ALFONSO chocolates
It looks like Boston is going to spank Toronto worse then last year

Hi Kulas, Franklin here. Glad to see this episode. Itried sending the pictures to you but dont know how. Sent it thru gmail though in one if my comments. Hope you find it. Really glad seing you and Therine.❤️🙂👍 Again congratulations to the both of you.😂❤
So, the whole place is modelled after Switzerland: Montreux, Lausanne, ... 😂
Thanks for bringing us to Tagaytay, definitely a nice place to visit.
Cavite, batangas, laguna, quezon are so underrated, rivers, lakes, beautiful mountains coz tourists thinks Philippines is just manila and the islands.
You were at my hometown Alfonso. I was there Jan-Mar. on vacation. Back in Canada now. Tagaytay is a beautiful place. Thks for visiting.
It almost doesn't look like the Phillipinnes. It could be the foothills in the US or Canada❤
Another amazing video showing the Beauty of Cavite Province, especially Tagaytay seeing Taal Lake / Volcano. Kulas, in Filipino, you can call her also "Aling or Manang" Baby prefix with Nickname. For guys, use "Mang or Manong" as a prefix.
is that like 126 degrees Fahrenheit?? I thought it was a cooler area there. Crossing bridge. "that's kinda creepy." translates to, I'm not looking down!! Really super nice video! That little town is expensive and then some!! Even that fish market was comparable to US prices.
My mom's nickname is Baby and she's 85yo. She never gets old because she's always a baby 😄
nicee onnee
Congratulations and looking forward to your wedding day, lovebirds. Amping lagi kuys. Looking forward to see you back po in Mahagnao Volcano Natural Park in Burauen, Leyte. The three mystical lakes, the sleeping volcano, the humble people, the rich biodiversity are always waiting. Power on!
Pronunciation of Lausanne is Lozan
There's a place in California called Solvang which the Crosswinds seems to be a copy of. It's a Danish theme, not Swiss.
Kainggit ka kulas hehe Ako na pilipino di ko pa nalibot Ang pinas...ingat lagi
Hideous place. Overconcreted. Peoples juste come to eat. Nothing to do.
Go CANUCKS! how about that last game? Heart stopper!!!

OMG You just shot an aerial of my husband's family's house right next to the old church in Alfonso! It's the one with the blue roof! Thanks for bringing us home Kulas!
coool!!! I want to stroll around Alfonso in the future.... just not when it is 50 degrees out haha :D
@@BecomingFilipino been married to a Caviteño for 24 yrs but have never explored his hometown before. We moved to the US right after we got married! We are excited for this next chapter of our retirement in a few short years, and hopefully build something in a piece of farmland my husband inherited in Maragondon! Hope to run into you and Therene then! We can stroll around town and even the barrios but of coursde during cooler weather LOL

I wish Therine would look at the camera when talking. Kulas talks to her an she's looking the other way.
Wonder how that goes for Kulas.. now he has a Philippino passport does he still have to pay a puti price for tourist traps?

I had no clue where we were going to end up... But Therine really wanted me to see the place haha
@@BecomingFilipino Tagaytay highlands is a favorite location for weddings of celebrities. I thought you're looking for a wedding venue.
Tagaytay Highlands is exclusively for members only. To get in you need to have a sponsor who is a member
Great vlog
It kinda of looks like Baguio, but only with less people and buildings. Nice
You can even see Manila on the top of Cavite.
And on the park there are lots of pine trees 🌲🌲🌲
Like in Bukidnon ang Baguio.
It is sort of like high ridge in Cagayan De Oro in Upper Macasandig.
And in Eco Village in Malasag in Cagayan De Oro.
And they even had cakes on the eatery 🎂🍰
And they even serve salad on the eatery 🥗
And it is really dry due to extreme El Nino they say it is due to climate change.
And there are lots of coconut trees 🌴🌴🌴🥥🥥🥥
And they even had a hanging bridge with a glass on the middle.
And the glass is thick and in China they even had a hanging bridge that cracks like it is a prank crack.
And you went on the pool with Therine 🏊
And they widened the road and most of the trees were cut 🌳🌳🪵🪵➡🪓
And you bought some mangoes and some of the mangoes have a little bit of green 🥭🥭🥭🟢🟢🟢
Kulas baka naman pwedi mag ninong....hehehehe..sa baby nyo soon
OILERS fan here...BRING IT ON!!! (Would be a fun series, and yes, Canucks wouldn't know what hit em 😅)
Cheers from Edmonton 🍁
"Salamat, baby." 🤣
For real though, I think she's probably called more like "Tita Baby" or something. 😅
Beautiful Philippines ❤Have a wonderful time😊Thank you for sharing 😊🩵🇨🇦
Regarding Baby names, in Cebu and Cebuano roots families, if the eldest is male, the nickname is Dodong, if female it is Inday. Then the 3rd son or daughter is called Tata and the 4th child is called Baby whether male or female.
I recommend eating at Chicks ni Otits, restaurant own by Wilma Decent.
Wow very good Kulas that you visited the beautiful place in Cavite.
Wow Tagaytay has grown up since I was visiting in 2006. 🤩

14:46 ☀️🔥 52 degrees celsius is 125.6 degrees fahrenheit!! Omg, guys!! That's Arizona or Nevada or Mojave Desert summer temp!! I'd MELT -- seriously. 🥵 ... Keep hydrating, KuRine!! 🥤🧉🧋
no, its the heat index 52 not the temp, but it still hot.
52* is too much
👏👏🥰🥰🌹🌹🌹

Really feeling a little bit of Camp John Hay Baguio there… of course different kaayo… but instant vibes haha
Kyle/Therine, waiting for your wedding then kids to follow, GOD bless
The funny side of being in the Philippines is that if you live there you will definitely get a nickname. 😊
Just remember to say “Auntie Baby” or “Nanay Baby” haha
Lol yeah because it is much easy for people to remember you when you have a nickname. Like in your case they can call you Lily Kana😅!
TAGAYTAY & Vicinity = 1st time to see the places you visited today, Kulas & Therine. 💖 💖 Definite Baguio vibes. Never been to Cavite. Thank you for the tour and for showing us the beautiful off roads!! 🚘
Definitely made the 200 peso parking entrance worth it. Enjoyed being in that area of Tagaytay!
I can see why Tagaytay is so popular. It's a beautiful place.
