As someone who was in the military, I can 100% say that is not correct. I tried to come forward with issues with my chain of command with no response several times. Don't play the "one bad all bad" argument. It's ignorant.

Sheriff clearly cannot perform his public duties in a professional & unbiased manner.

When a law enforcement officer exhibits this kind of behavior it’s a sign that they need to be removed from office immediately. Officers must be held to a high standard of impartiality or they cannot function in a position of authority without using that position to influence people unduly. Or ,in this case, without using intimidation tactics to affect a political outcome.

That uniform reminds me of the park rangers at Gifford Pinchot State park who terrorized me out of the job I worked last year. They chose to show me a set of park ranger clothes hanging from the ceiling with cameras placed around the room. A lot of other hateful things happened but when law enforcement does nothing they mean to terrorize people and be arrogant because they know nothing will be done about it

Speaking as a recently retired Police Officer, a public servant, especially in a law enforcement capacity to protect law-abiding citizens, regardless of their affiation, gender or religion, should keep their personal politics to themselves until they either resign or retire.
