Vielen Dank, für dieses wunderschöne musikalisches Geschenk zum Drei Königsfest. On historical perspective, this performance sounds very convincing! This is the best praise you can give today to musicians who deals with old music - executed on historical instruments. Because, nobody really knows how our ancestors performed their music, and that's a good thing because we are children of our time.

English Holy child, let me with delight hold you close to my heart, for your beauty captivates me. Star of Jacob, may your brightness on the narrow path of belief be my blessed guiding star. Oh, what a blessed sound enchants both heart and hearing! What now or ever sounds with such sweet ringing, as this exultant call we hear angels singing? I must, o my spirits treasure. I must declare the pleasure, that now I bring you, wich shall be to all people and dwell among you. Rising, falling, circling, swelling, with holy rejoycing now sing, oh christianity. Today holy Angels, sing the story for your joy and for goods glory, for now is revealed never ending delight.
Thank you very much! I understand your critisism and I try to get as near as possible to the sound the creators of our performed music would have expected. Interestingly enough, women were actually employed in church music in Hamburg in the early 18th century. It is documented that Mattheson, for example, used well-known female singers from the opera in his church works.

Is this the organ you we talking about a few months ago?
yes
@@naturaltrumpet84 nice work by all!
Apon rehearing this months later I find the tone much more warm than I remember when first heard.
Very beautiful. But I wonder why 'period' performances are always unhistoric in the use of the human voice, using females instead of boys.
Thank you very much!
