First Day of School 2016

Welcome back as we begin the 68th year of education here at Powhatan School!
Enjoy a welcome back message from Mrs. Scarborough, Head of School, on the First Day of School:
Established in 1948, Powhatan School is an independent PK-8 Day School accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Schools and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools. Powhatan School opened the 2016-17 school year today by welcoming 244 students to campus. This is the highest opening enrollment since 2008.
