Answering the question, there are multiple ways you can go in order to get the most amount of stars in the smallest possible time. Being a stargrinder myself, what I would recommend is playing levels between 4 and 7-star difficulty (max. 8-star), since most of these are sightreadable, most of the time you can one-attempt them and they give the better time-to-stars ratio overall. One tip would be to grind the recent daily levels since most of them are pretty easy to do with the added bonus of getting double the stars each time you complete both the daily and the standalone level. Demons are not a viable way of stargrinding since you might need up to 2 practice attempts to be able to beat them, which takes too much time, so I would definitely not recommend playing demons if you intend to gain stars quickly. From personal experience, on a good day you can get up to 700/800 stars, but it's a very exhausting task, taking you many hours to do so, I would not recommend doing this very often. @@PurplecrocodileGD It doesn't surprise me at all tbh, but that would require playing all day long with basically no breaks in between, and I find hard to believe most people either have the time or the patience to do that, the way I described can get you almost 800 stars in around 4/5 hours of game time. I personally have more things to do than playing GD all day :P
One way I have been collecting stars is doing lists from the 'lists' section, I don't do demons or do platformers. I think it's one nice way of collecting stars

@@Belphox 800 in 4-5 hours is already insane, that amount of time would only get me around 500 if i locked in the ENTIRE time and I have 62k stars
