Gives new depth and understanding when C-3P0 says in Empire Strikes Back "Sir, I don't know where your ship learned to communicate, but it has the most peculiar dialect."
After you give the spoiler warning in your reviews, I usually stay for the joke afterwards and my fear is one day you do not say the joke and actually go to the spoilery stuff right away.
It made sense in my opinion since Disney owns the reins and developed clone wars. That little gem will fly over a lot of heads, but I was okay with it.
I liked the film, which I didn't expect. But I thought it was a just a fun Star Wars film, I loved Han and Lando's interactions and him and Chewie growing closer. And that surprise cameo at the end was shocking!
this!!!. Was fun, went with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised, at no point during the film did it feel not star wars, there wasnt a single point during the film where i didnt believe i was watching a young Han and Lando ( Donald Glover nails it btw ), a good Star wars film
I mean, he said his expectations were low, that doesn't mean they have to be low to enjoy the film. Not to mention people with low expectations usually (not always) WANT to hate these kinds of movies so they're actually HARDER to impress which should tell you something.
I really enjoyed it. I felt like Alden did a good job with the facial expressions, mannerisms, and characteristics of Han Solo. Also, Darth Maul made me so happy!
Some people don't like Han in this movie because he wasn't cynical enough, but I think this quote shows they knew exactly what they were doing. This was Han before life made him cynical.
Wooooooaaaah, I never thought about that theory of Qi'ra being Rey's mother. Interesting. And that would totally give much more depth to Rey wanting Solo as a father-figure.
I expected the movie to be terrible, I disliked the Last Jedi and had heard some bad things about the acting in Solo, but when I watched it, I just enjoyed it in every way. And if it helps, I hate the Michael Bay movies, Transformers was ruined by him
Yeah I saw it today and was quite surprised! It's not perfect, of course but I feel like it was really good for what it had to go through. A better Star Wars movie than The Last Jedi anyways.
I'm on board with Rey being Kira's daughter but not Han's. Han stepping up as a step or foster father works more emotionally for me since star wars is full of terrible birth fathers and wonderful foster fathers. Vader=bad/Obi-wan=good. Han=good/Mystery Drunk=bad.
Also the movie couldve done without the call backs. Inknow every film snob whines about that but its truer for this film(potentially film series) because you can watch it by itself without ever seeing the originals. If a movie suffers too much from prequalitis then it cuts its legs out from under it. It makes enjoying it more dependant on watching the original works.
Adrian-Cornel Borină It’s like when I go to chick fil a and they write “Stephen blue shirt” on my receipt so they can bring me my food, and now that’s my last name.
You know what's just the greatest thing? I'm German. And for the German dub of this movie they hired the same voice actor who dubs Harrison Ford in the german version of like every movie (including the original trilogy). So in Germany this new Han sounds exactly the same as the original Han. That's kinda awesome!
They finally corrected the "Kessel Run in 12 parsecs" as being the FASTEST error. The issue was that parsecs is not a unit of time; its a unit of distance, which Harrison Ford said in error in A NEW HOPE. I liked the way that STAR WARS corrected for this by shortening the distance and thus equating it to FASTEST TIME, as there was no routine way to navigate The Maw!!! It was the same thing they did with the "Han shot first"!!!
Uh. If only Lucas had just said that Han was throwing out space jargon to see if Obi-wan and Luke knew what he was on about. Instead we get this half-arsed story which amounts to "I ran a race and came first but I took a short cut."
I feel like it's a mistake to push the prequels away. Yes they were bad, but they were an integral part of Star Wars. As good as these new movies can be, they don't really feel like Star Wars.
I actually like the new Star Wars movies, but I wasn't ever really planning on going to see Solo. The whole idea of recasting someone to play Han seemed impossible and kinda tragic to me. Then I saw the trailer, and I was blown idea. Not by the trailer itself, but by Alden! Just those few shots, he looked exactly like Han. I was super impressed. Still, not particularly intending to go see it. Then my dad called me up and said he had free tickets to the theater and did I want to come, so I said sure, since it's free and all, but I went in with rather low expectations. And OMG. The story wasn't mind-blowing, but Alden carries this film 100%. He's SO good, he had me freaking out with how Han he was, and brought me right back into the OT. And that scene where he shoots first? Yeah the fangirl inside me exploded. I hope they make sequels to this actually. It looks like it's being set up that way, it didn't really have a proper ending like Rogue One, ended on a cliffhanger. So I really really hope that happens.
justeverything man, I felt the exact opposite. Couldn't stand how arrogant he came across, especially since he wouldn't stop grinning. Goddamn it annoyed me.
That Solo quote at the end “I thought we were in trouble there, but it’s fine, we’re fine.” was perfect. That’s what I thought of the movie....it’s fine, we’re fine.
Felix Miranda I completely agree. But I was never on board with her being a Solo because Leia and Han never would've abandoned her. I never took issue to the explanation on Episode VIII, but this way Han would actually be a father to her and she'd be a half-sibling or something to Kylo. It would be a different take on Star Wars.
pipe2theface this is hilarious, but the more I think about it, id actually be fine with that (better than the “your parents are nobodies” answer we got from TLJ), it would help explain her raw talent/Mary sue skills with the force and why she couldn’t help going into the dark side hole on Luke’s retirement island when it called her (not to mention Kylo could’ve gave her the “your parents are nobodies” line out of jealousy after finding out he’s not the only one who descends from a cool Sith Lord lol)
Papa Cap if they’re inventing new force powers (like force projection for the light side in TLJ) then why not give the dark side force conception? It won’t be any worse than force chat!
Dan- I fricking lost my mind when you said your theory at the end. After my mom and I saw the movie, we were talking about it the next day and my mom came out with exactly what you just said, and I'm hoping against all hope this is true especially because it would make sense with the whole "your parents were nobodies who sold you for drinking money" thing.
One of my favorite details that they kept from OG Han was the way he pronounces "Falcon" like "Fall-ken". Was the final detail that sold me on Ehrenreich.
Thank you for actually keeping an open mind and being able to watch Solo! I've seen so many reviews were people haven't even seen the movie but still complain about it! (Of course, I did not expect that to happen here. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!).
What did you think about the Indiana Jones Easter Egg in Vos' office? They had the idol from the beginning of Raiders of the Lost Ark on one of the displays (plus a crystal skull... but that's not worth talking about).
How infinity war should have ended Thanos: You should have aimed for the head Thor: Ummmm OK (touches the time stone) goes back in time and hits the face
Spoilers, in case you do not know how he is still alive and what he had been up to, and do not want to watch the animated shows. Long story short, Maul survived due to his sheer hatred for Obi-wan and his power in the Dark Side of the Force (which went hand in hand). He later went on to conquer Mandalore (where Jango Fett's ancestry hails from), kill Obi-wan's love interest/ex-girlfriend, duel Sidious (and lose the duel and his brother in the process), fight Ahsoka and Captain Rex (right before Order 66), and finally dies on Tatoinne after a brief duel with Obi-wan/Ben Kenobi shortly before A New Hope.
I actually liked this movie, and Rogue one much better than TFA, TLJ. I think the guy that plays Han does really well. I love the Darth Maul image, and the bad guy was very cool/intimidating. It would be interesting to make Qi'ra Rey's mother, but everyone speculated the same thing about Jayne too. We will see. Also R2-D2 was in the movie I think, you saw a super brief clip of him from behind in the control room, but no CP-30. Lando was pretty cool as well. I thought the Cassel run was actually really great, and I liked how the empire did name him.
How Infinity war should have ended: Thanos gets the Infinity stones in the first 5 minutes of the movie, then spends the rest of the movie trying to snap with the Infinity Gauntlet.
It seems to me that characters in the Star Wars universe really don't mind wearing helmets that give them limited peripheral vision. I mean, it's official - EVERY faction has a helmet with either macrobinocular goggles or a solitary-confinement-food slot-slit on it.
That's actually what I like a lot about Star Wars: The costumes are always always so unique and awesome regardless of the quality of the particular movie ...and I was in the costume museum in Manhattan so there's that.
I know you see RTD2 and C3PO is sacrilege to not be in a Star Wars movie but then again remember those two droids primarily follow the Skywalker line of the story so if the movie has a Skywalker is a good chance you'll get a C-3PO and R2 D2.
After Episode IV “A Strike of Hope”, the next anthology movie is going to be “Kenobi”. It will be about Obi Wan Kenobi’s 20 year exile to Tatooine and how he will kill Darth Maul. Again
My friend watched the movie before me and said that Darth Maul guy is back and I waited for Han and Darth Maul fight each other. I waited that moment to come the whole movie
That would be cool but if Han Solo and Darth Maul had a fight. Darth Maul would kill Han in about two seconds. It makes sense that they didn't meet because it is why Han Solo doesn't believe in The Force, in the original trilogy. 😎
Heavy .O he's in it for 45 seconds in a brief cameo (still a major plot point/setup for future films) and basically whatever he does doesn't matter since he just gets rekt by Kenobi pretty soon in the timeline anyways
Yes, Maul made a cameo in this movie. Spoiler: From what I understand, Maul reappeared in both the Clone Wars and Rebels animated shows. I haven’t watched them but I’m sure it’s explained how he survived his death. Or, we could research from Wookieepedia.
When Darth Maul appeared i lost it!!! It was awesome!!! And that is a good idea that Kira could be Rey's mother!! Great thoery and i loved the movie and it was a twist that Kira was working with Darth Maul!!!!
I actually enjoyed Paul Bettany’s character (Dryden Vos). I really wanted to know a bit more about his character but I guess Qui’ra was a more important villian
When I heard Darth Maul's voice I was just like "Oh dang that's totally Darth Maul, but no.... Disney's not crazy enough to keep him alive are they?" *The hood goes down* "I WAS RIIIGGHHT!!!"
Andrewman 03 he’s been alive for a while. He survived using his intense hatred of kenobi and using it to fuel his dark side powers to keep himself alive. There are a few story arcs in both clone wars and rebels. And I know as of now clone wars is on Netflix if you want to look up which episodes he’s in
Amazing Turtle Yeah I know, I've seen him in both Clone Wars and Rebels, I know the whole story. I just didn't think they'd have the guts to put him in a big movie again
Athena Jaxon I doubt it will get a sequel, but the Obi-Wan movie is definitely happening and will most likely wrap up the Darth Maul and Kira plot line.
i think Han feels like it’s kinda badass to be an outlaw with a name from the empire. it would be Han-ish or whatever so i kinda liked it. also maybe he just felt it fits after Qi’ra betrayed him :D
Liked it! Fun movie. The actor who played Han did a good job and the friendship with Chewbacca was really cool to see how that came about. Great action and cinematography. Could have done without the Droid talking about a possible relationship with Lando. Seriously, still supposed to be a kid's movie and I think it's just weired not funny. Lando cried harder when his droid died than the Woody Harrison character did when his partner in crime and girlfriend died. The same girl he was like french kissing a few scenes prior. Ummm..again kids movie here Ms Kennedy and little Opie Taylor should have toned it down a bit. Overall a fun movie and some nice tie-ins to the character and later films. Not sure about the whole Darth Maul thing. If this does not lead somewhere then it is really lame.
I'm not even sure why it was necessary for the girlfriend to die. Like, I don't see how they needed to blow the tracks and cause the train to fall when they already detached the one car they were after and were going to fly it away. She could have NOT blown the bridge and the plan would have been mostly unchanged.
From what I heard, the Darth Maul cameo doesn't lead to anything because in the canon cartoon, he is killed by Obi-wan so there leaves very little room for him to do anything else in the story. Its purely fanservice that connects to the cartoon.
Why do you keep calling it a kids movie? Rogue One certainly WAS NOT a children's film. Not everything in the Star Wars universe is meant to be "kid friendly" nor does it have to be. I'm sure the Darth Maul plot will lead somewhere in a future film. There is still plenty of time between SOLO and when Maul meets his demise attempting his revenge on Kenobi. Here's a quote from CBR: "Season 3 of Rebels takes place in 2 BBY. So, if you’ve been doing the math, Solo is 10 years after The Clone Wars: Season 4, 9 years after Revenge of Sith, and 8 years before Rebels: Season 3" (which is 2 years before A New Hope).
I thought it was a really solid film, probably my favourite out of all of the new ones mainly because there weren't any major parts that annoyed me, it's my favourite because of its solidness not necessarily because of any particular brilliance. But despite saying that, there were some great moments, I think it hit the perfect balance of comedy in a star wars film unlike TLJ, and it was great to see so many references to the TV shows.
Lack of Hans Bloodstripes ruined it. Should have mentioned them. BUT... about the robot brain. The Falcon was controlled by 3 of them. And they argued constantly. So it was reasonable that they started adding the robot brains. I hope your theory about there being more Solo films is true. He was a good Solo, he sounded VERY much like Han alot of the time. Same gravitas and gravel. So I guess the Bloodstripes could be awarded to him later by Corellia maybe for freeing the slaves on Kessel? As his first set were gifted for the freeing of Chewie or around that time the second set were not talked about. Soooooo maybe in the next film. Please in the next film. And I liked him being named by the Imps. Kinda a trademark name then... and it can erase the weak backstory of him being royalty... which isn't necessary.
I like the Qi'ra - Rey theory. I think Qi'ra is a rebel operative embedded in Crimson Dawn who is feeding intel to Enfys Nest. They seemed to know each other in brief scene while Beckett and Han deliberated on what to do about Dryden Vos. She's done terrible things and struggles with it just as Cassian has... but they do so for the greater good.
IT WAS AWESOME!!! REALLY LOVED THE SCENE WHEN DARTH MAUL IS INTRODUCED AND EMILIA CLARKE WAS AWESOME IN IT!! HOPE THEY MAKE A SEQUEL! AND I REALLY WANT THE THEORY U SAID ABOUT REYS PARENTS COME TRUE! !
I liked where it Lando says "I hate you", where Han replies "I know". Pretty good Empire reference, if you ask me.
Parker Kincaid lol excatly my thoughts
+Parker Kincaid you're probably the guy they asked in the writers room and that's why it made it to the screen.
Gives new depth and understanding when C-3P0 says in Empire Strikes Back "Sir, I don't know where your ship learned to communicate, but it has the most peculiar dialect."
Christopher J Triana I actually did like that in the movie
Not ANH but "Empire"!
Niice, I hadn't noticed that 😃
Christopher J Triana Duuuude... you blew my mind
Except that L3-37 speaks English...
*If you're a famous smuggler, you're not doing it right!*
^^THIS!
Ser Davos Seaworth: The Onion Knight...
MrKnaives, It's a reference my brew
Russ RedCloud here here.
Your mom's a famous smuggler.
After you give the spoiler warning in your reviews, I usually stay for the joke afterwards and my fear is one day you do not say the joke and actually go to the spoilery stuff right away.
Hooman Politics just watch the film first lol
Eh, even after the real spoiler alert, they usually take a while to get to any actual spoilers. I wouldn't worry.
That Mace Windu tattoo tho
Regarding Enfys Nest, I was more suprised at how young the girl was, rather than that she was female.
Same
Me three...
Yeah being female is not a shock; it's actually the opposite now
I like how everybody who didn't watch "The clone wars" nor "Rebels" is suprised that Maul is alive.
Volkerei hehe. I had to explain to everyone in my family how he survived
Yeah me too😂 so annoying.
I legit laughed when I saw Maul.
i had to remind my parents who he was because they hadn't seen him since the phantom menace was in the cinema.
Wait he’s in those
Instant respect for singing the han solo song
Point out a spelling error, horror is spelt horror, not respect, it's almost as if you're trying to suggest you respect him...
Spoiler, Chewbacca is Hans real dad and they're both crushed by a rogue tie fighter at the end
Oisin McPhillips,
Oh! I thought his dad was Jabba...
Jabba is his mama
What is: Thevend? A New cool Word?
Oisin McPhillips NO!!!!!!
Reminds me of my life
I honestly think the Darth Maul reveal was to set up the Obi-Wan movie
The whole Obi-Wan - Maul -story has already been solved in the TV series "Rebels"
Absolutely. It was basically a confirmation.
Volkerei evidently not, because Maul is clearly alive.
I think, "Rebels" is set after "Solo". Also there is no coming back after that fight. He died in Obi-Wans arms in peace. A great ending in my opinion.
It made sense in my opinion since Disney owns the reins and developed clone wars. That little gem will fly over a lot of heads, but I was okay with it.
"IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE HAN, MA BOOKIE"
She meant ''My Wookie''...obviously. Maybe she mustook him for cheewie at some point?1 =P
RedCaio ?
I lost it at that part 😂😂😂
Isn’t “ma bookie” like Huttese or something? I think I recall Jabba saying something “Han ma bookie” at some point.
I liked the film, which I didn't expect. But I thought it was a just a fun Star Wars film, I loved Han and Lando's interactions and him and Chewie growing closer. And that surprise cameo at the end was shocking!
Hey hey what was the surprise cameo at the end? I love spoilers so pls tell me
Me too tell me now!!!
Darth Snow Maul.
this!!!. Was fun, went with no expectations and was pleasantly surprised, at no point during the film did it feel not star wars, there wasnt a single point during the film where i didnt believe i was watching a young Han and Lando ( Donald Glover nails it btw ), a good Star wars film
😲 I thought that was another one of his jokes YEEE, the anticipation is growing so much!!!
The actor for Darth Maul told people that he has already signed up for either 2 or 3 more movies, so there may be more Solo movies to come.
Kristoph Tardis Maybe he appears on the Kenobi movie as the main villain. And I really want this to happen.
Saw it tonight on Netflix. It was better than I expected.
"I thought we were in trouble there for a second but its fine. We're fine." - Han Solo's review of the movie.
deathsyth8888 “This looks a little rough around the edges, but good” Qira’s review of the movie.
So HISHE is saying keep your expectation SOLO and you will enjoy it
more like so low
That's the joke.
Why yes. I do see what you did there.
Pretty much.
Han shot prematurely
ummm... I think you mean Han shot first
Or both lol
Captain Deadpool So that's why she left him, huh?
Deadpool would say that.😆
Happens to every smuggler.
I like how Han says"i have a good feeling about this"
Ikr! A little twist on words! eh!
I had low expectations but I actually really liked that movie!
Bet you like Michael Bay movies too.
I expected the movie to be terrible, I disliked the Last Jedi and had heard some bad things about the acting in Solo, but when I watched it, I just enjoyed it in every way. And if it helps, I hate the Michael Bay movies, Transformers was ruined by him
+Sack Sackington. Like it if you want, but to me, I found this film to be full of flaws, bad writing, bad acting, etc.
CybermanFordStrikesBack I don’t understand how this movie had any more action than new hope?
Yeah I saw it today and was quite surprised! It's not perfect, of course but I feel like it was really good for what it had to go through. A better Star Wars movie than The Last Jedi anyways.
I'm on board with Rey being Kira's daughter but not Han's. Han stepping up as a step or foster father works more emotionally for me since star wars is full of terrible birth fathers and wonderful foster fathers. Vader=bad/Obi-wan=good. Han=good/Mystery Drunk=bad.

Wouldn’t that put her in her 60’s when she gave birth to Rey?
Maybe not mother... Grandmother? Which would give us another Force Family...
I could go in depth for you, but the short answer is no.
Ron Hopping same bc that’d mean he’d have been romantically involved with Qi’ra AFTER Leia bc I’m pretty sure Rey is younger than Ben
So Han's last name is "Solo" because he was alone that one time...
Adrian-Cornel Borină nah because he told them that he's alone all of the time
He pretty much said he has no family therefore he's solo
Adrian-Cornel Borină It’s like when I go to chick fil a and they write “Stephen blue shirt” on my receipt so they can bring me my food, and now that’s my last name.
AmberTamba
Why do u give your son a name that the empire give it to u
Adrian-Cornel Borină No. because he has no family.
I also appreciated the "I've got a GOOD feeling about this" line.
Komaru85 Ernsthaft, ist mir nicht aufgefallen 😂
Und ich hab den Film in OV angeschaut... gerade im trailer hat das irgendwie unnatürlich geklungen.
Fo real? Ich bin auch deusch!!
Thats interesting, seems like i'll actually watch the dubbed version then, when its aviable on stream.
I doubt Kira is Rey's mother but I do like your Idea with the "still good but too late for me" Vader mirror.

Wyndell Roussell that error was corrected literally the day after star was came out
Uh. If only Lucas had just said that Han was throwing out space jargon to see if Obi-wan and Luke knew what he was on about. Instead we get this half-arsed story which amounts to "I ran a race and came first but I took a short cut."
The reason theyre pumping so many movies between episode 3 and 4 is because they want to push the prequels to the other side of the universe
Malcolm MacInnis and their lies their greatest flaw
Um, we saw Darth Maul tho
Ep3 was good
Why don’t they make movies between 6 and 7 then
I feel like it's a mistake to push the prequels away. Yes they were bad, but they were an integral part of Star Wars. As good as these new movies can be, they don't really feel like Star Wars.
This movie's biggest problem: it was released after The Last Jedi.
Movies biggest problem is disney
Indeed.
IT'S A PREQUEL
LIKE ROGUE ONE
MrDrProfessor4 pretty much yeah. If it came after Rogue One, then it would have been fine.
“I thought we were in trouble there’s for a moment... but, it’s fine. We’re fine.”
XD Me on the movie lol
I actually like the new Star Wars movies, but I wasn't ever really planning on going to see Solo. The whole idea of recasting someone to play Han seemed impossible and kinda tragic to me. Then I saw the trailer, and I was blown idea. Not by the trailer itself, but by Alden! Just those few shots, he looked exactly like Han. I was super impressed. I could actually get on board with her being Han and Kirra's daughter.
Han doesn't have to be the father for it to be effective.
Maybe then all the reylo shippers will shut up
Han and Kirra have a DAUGHTER! Han's already a FATHER??!! I'M...SO...HAPPY! Chewie, Lando, Han's a FATHER!!!!(Anakin).
And just how old would that make Rey? =0[.]o=
I swear to god if Darth maul is Reys father I quit
pipe2theface don't think that's a thing cause lack of horns.
They're completely different species from each other, that's impossible.
pipe2theface this is hilarious, but the more I think about it, id actually be fine with that (better than the “your parents are nobodies” answer we got from TLJ), it would help explain her raw talent/Mary sue skills with the force and why she couldn’t help going into the dark side hole on Luke’s retirement island when it called her (not to mention Kylo could’ve gave her the “your parents are nobodies” line out of jealousy after finding out he’s not the only one who descends from a cool Sith Lord lol)
His junk was cut off with his legs.
No stick No balls No ballgame
Papa Cap if they’re inventing new force powers (like force projection for the light side in TLJ) then why not give the dark side force conception? It won’t be any worse than force chat!
I loved when Han was in the fight with the Empire and it looked so brutal and gritty compared to any other war in the franchise.
So glad Darth Maul is back!!!! Been waiting 20 years to see him again.
One of my favorite details that they kept from OG Han was the way he pronounces "Falcon" like "Fall-ken". Was the final detail that sold me on Ehrenreich.
''The droids are kinda stealing the show in Star Wars lately.''
HA!
No one beats K2-SO. Not even C3-PO.
*Movie droids
I think you mean "Especially not C-3PO."
"K-2SO"
I love k2
Thank you for actually keeping an open mind and being able to watch Solo! I've seen so many reviews were people haven't even seen the movie but still complain about it! (Of course, I did not expect that to happen here. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!).
I'm so glad you noticed the H-aan / H-ahn thing with Lando, drives me crazy, c'mon Billy Dee lol
I love that theory about Kira being Rey's mom! please let the writers hear this one!
My favorite line from Solo was
“I have a really good feeling about this”
What did you think about the Indiana Jones Easter Egg in Vos' office? They had the idol from the beginning of Raiders of the Lost Ark on one of the displays (plus a crystal skull... but that's not worth talking about).
I agree with that this movie had one purpose one purpose only to have the internet stop arguing about who shot first
Exactly what I said when it happened too. 'Well, that debate is now over"...
Don't forget the 12-parsecs-thing.
I think the next spin off star wars movie will be about Padme's second cousin twice removed on her mother's side...😉
Nope, it's the Kenobi flick
No it will be about Bail Organa's father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate.
Don't forget about the Porkins movie
Biggs Darklighter
"What does that make us?" "Absolutely nothing! Which is what you are about to become."
How infinity war should have ended
Thanos: You should have aimed for the head
Thor: Ummmm OK (touches the time stone) goes back in time and hits the face
The Ultimate Lavacreeper or cuts off the arm instead of going for the chest. And then kills him.
Darth Maul?
BEN PLAYSS my god did you press the video without watching the movie
BEN PLAYSS not Darth any more
Spoilers, in case you do not know how he is still alive and what he had been up to, and do not want to watch the animated shows.
BEN PLAYSS Sam Witwer playa him
He destroyed the whole movie
My boy DARTH MAUL IS BACK BOI
RIGHT? I got so pumped when I saw him at the end of the movie!
Yea but he does soon
Dies
In Canon order
That's why seeing him again is just so lit!
Are u trying to tell me I was the only one cheering when L3 got killed?
No I'm with you
Yes
I was so glad to see her die relatively early in the film.
“Equal rights” smh
Chris 12 I’m with you. She was so annoying!
Yeah I found her annoying. I found the idea that Lando genuinely was in love with her utterly bizarre.
Yes simple typing error was with my kiddo
Happens to the best of us. 😁
How Infinity war should have ended: Thanos gets the Infinity stones in the first 5 minutes of the movie, then spends the rest of the movie trying to snap with the Infinity Gauntlet.
That's the model-building version.
I loved it I just wished they went more details about Maul and Keira
It seems to me that characters in the Star Wars universe really don't mind wearing helmets that give them limited peripheral vision.
I mean, it's official - EVERY faction has a helmet with either macrobinocular goggles or a solitary-confinement-food slot-slit on it.
That's actually what I like a lot about Star Wars: The costumes are always always so unique and awesome regardless of the quality of the particular movie ...and I was in the costume museum in Manhattan so there's that.
BaronZ Unique... Awesome... and limited vision... 😁
Again
Got to admit it wasn't that Enfys Nest's leader was a girl that surprised me, it was that she was a teenager...
I liked it, good casting. Young enough to carry future franchises (yea, Deadpool 2 had some good lines). Also, nice to get some ginger representation.
no, i need full version of that your version of solo song
I could have sworn I saw C3PO during the scene when they're taking an elevator...In the original Star Wars 3PO says he used to work on load lifters...
Solo was one of my favorite Star Wars movies. Way better than The Last Jedi
Tommy Carlin That's the lowest bar in the universe. The Last Airbender is better than TLJ ffs.
Gungan I know that’s why I said it. It was a joke xD
In glad to hear it, but that is sadly the defense a lot of people are going with.
Im a fan, have been since '77. This is better than anything since Empire. I loved it.
omg, that Solo song in the beginning got me laughing so hard at work
IT STILL HURTS THAT HE'S DEAD NOW
Ruben De who?
Tony Stark Spider-Man
Yoda, I don't feel so good.
Princess Leia Carrie Fisher
Marshmallows Of The Damned please Mr. Skywalker I don't want to go..
When are you guys gonna do how infinity war should have ended
Premtim Rushiti You try to animate an entire hishe episode
When it comes out on Bluray in July I think.(or basically August since its release there is on the 31st of July)
Premtim Rushiti When it's out on Blu-ray. Do people not know these things yet?
Also don’t take my comment to seriously
When its on dvd or itunes
“MAKE REY A KENOBI GOSH!” I couldn’t agree more Hishe
Where's the HISHE review of Deadpool 2?
They don't do R-rated reviews
WHERE WHERE
No one cares about it
Maks Kałużny than I guess your not really a deadpool fan.
The Nerd Who Loves Entertainment GMJ you guessed it right ;)
Childish Gambinos song was clever HISHE 👍🏻👍🏻
My friend watched the movie before me and said that Darth Maul guy is back and I waited for Han and Darth Maul fight each other. I waited that moment to come the whole movie
That would be cool but if Han Solo and Darth Maul had a fight. Darth Maul would kill Han in about two seconds.
It makes sense that they didn't meet because it is why Han Solo doesn't believe in The Force, in the original trilogy. 😎
Excellent review 👍 I enjoyed Solo, and really loved Chewie and Han's interactions
Do a HISHE for Solo: A Star Wars Story
This video
DarkBrickProductions they did one but deleted later
I actually really liked solo and Darth Maul was a great twist I never saw coming
My name is Beckett...I knew he was going to die when his original crew members... R.I.P Beckett 2018-2018
BL7 _ Beckett He wasn't even a year old 😢😭
HAHAHAHAHAHA
BL7 _ Beckett Beckett is vision from marvel
When you just realized Haymitch was a serious rebel in Star Wars back in the day
*a couple appears on screen*
Everyone: IT’S REY’S PARENTS!!!!!!
Me: *sigh*
*The ultimate question has finally been answered...*
*It's pronounced Hizee.*
I didn't really like L3-37, she got really annoying!!!! But for the most part was very impressed with Solo!!!
And i think it's ridiculous
I agree completely. L3-37 was really annoying, but the movie was good.
Leet
I think L3 was like that on purpose, she was supposed to be super annoying
agree
A rather positive review of Solo, that's kinda nice for a change. I really enjoyed the film.
Wait, so Darth Maul is actually in the movie?
Heavy .O yes
bruno hoecker had no interest in this movie... Now i have all the interest
Heavy .O he's in it for 45 seconds in a brief cameo (still a major plot point/setup for future films) and basically whatever he does doesn't matter since he just gets rekt by Kenobi pretty soon in the timeline anyways
Aaaaaaannnd its gone again
Yes, Maul made a cameo in this movie. Spoiler: From what I understand, Maul reappeared in both the Clone Wars and Rebels animated shows. I haven’t watched them but I’m sure it’s explained how he survived his death. Or, we could research from Wookieepedia.
No, Darth Maul did not make me go WHAAAAAATT?! I actually watch practically everything Star Wars. Not just the movies.
Wow man
When Darth Maul appeared i lost it!!! It was awesome!!! And that is a good idea that Kira could be Rey's mother!! Great thoery and i loved the movie and it was a twist that Kira was working with Darth Maul!!!!
For HOW INFINITY WAR SHOULD HAVE ENDED when Cap is holding the gautlet Bruce should be like "TANK MISSILE!" at Thanos
R u gonna make a how solo should have ended
I actually enjoyed Paul Bettany’s character (Dryden Vos). I really wanted to know a bit more about his character but I guess Qui’ra was a more important villian
I saw R2 in the airport scene
I thought I saw it too
I saw 4 or 5 different R2 units in the movie. IIRC, one even had the same coloring scheme as R2D2.
It wasn't him that one was red and silver not blue and white like R2
Shrek is Rey’s dad
I wish
When I heard Darth Maul's voice I was just like "Oh dang that's totally Darth Maul, but no.... Disney's not crazy enough to keep him alive are they?"
*The hood goes down*
"I WAS RIIIGGHHT!!!"
Andrewman 03 gotcha
I really enjoyed this movie a lot, was so much fun
Man I loved this movie I hope it does get sequels
Athena Jaxon I doubt it will get a sequel, but the Obi-Wan movie is definitely happening and will most likely wrap up the Darth Maul and Kira plot line.
@@TheZnarfquad Hahahahahaha.
This is a refreshing review, I love how it’s different from most reviews where two or more people just talking to each other.
i think Han feels like it’s kinda badass to be an outlaw with a name from the empire. it would be Han-ish or whatever so i kinda liked it. also maybe he just felt it fits after Qi’ra betrayed him :D
Can you do a HISHE parody for Solo?
What really caught me off guard was when the movie revealed that Darth Maul was in charge of Crimson Dawn.
Spoiler Alert.
R2D2 was in the movie ( ;
I swear I saw a Hologram of 3PO`s head in Vos` Suite near the end of the film. But as for R2, I never saw him. Which scene?
Wait no I just watched it
Where. I missed it.
R2D2 wasn’t in the movie. However, there was a similar droid, but painted red.
I saw an astromech droid on Corellia but I don't know what colour it was...
I liked it... And i wot more of it ;3
Wot?
Yes... You are reading this correctly... I wot more }:3
I was expecting something bad, but got something good. I have to say, I really enjoyed it. And by the way, Rey isn't a Kenobi. She isn't.
I LOVE WHEN HE SINGS ITS SO FUNNY CEEP SINGING PLZ
Liked it!
GoeTeeks Agree... Did not really slow anyone down except the guys doing the heist!
MCC there will be cause no jaba in this one
I’m going to see this today can’t wait
Madisshya S Punj AGREED! :P
