The saying is, “cloud with a silver lining”. It means when something happened that was initially seen as “bad”, but later on is found to actually have had a partially positive outcome.

@fabainrose8673 Perhaps in another culture/ language. I think in English I've only ever heard "cloud with a silver lining".
