Comment down below which major you'd want to try! Let me know if you want to see more interview-style videos in the future as well ☺ Thanks for watching! 💛
Aw thanks for watching! ☺ I would say to familiarize yourself with the College of Natural Resources' requirements (for the college itself and your major) and make sure you're accommodating those in your schedule. You might want to start taking those major-recommended courses in your first semester depending on how tight the scheduling is--I would say to chat with a Natural Resources advisor if you can to learn more. Here's a page with tons of info about switching into the College: nature.berkeley.edu/advising/change-college. I hope that helps, good luck and go bears! 💙
Currently thinking of switching my major with a bio major!!! this was very helpful. love this segment ❤️ i’ll be applying at berkeley too but for transfer. Nonetheless, this was realllyyyy informative!!!
Are going to get a phd in the field that you’ve chosen? I am really interested in molecular and cell biology with a focus in genetics but I am scared that there might not be much work available for me at the bachelor lvl or even at masteral lvl!!
As of right now I'm leaning towards an MD/PhD actually! I definitely want to take a few years after undergrad to do more research and figure out where my passions lie. I think it's a great undergrad degree but most people do plan to go to further school afterwards. You can go directly and work in the pharmaceutical industry though!
