Have you guys checked this one out? What are some of your favorite social deduction games?
Is there a way to try this one out? My all time favourite still is The Resistance: Avalon :-)
Really excited about this game. My favorite social deduction game is definitely Secret Hitler. Logged close to 200 plays of it over the years and has been a hit with every group I’ve ever shown it to.
I'm planning on trying a demo of this on Sunday. I see their Kickstarter launch is already over 4x funded! Looks interesting. I like Werewolf.
@@KillJoy83 hey there. Where can you try it out?
@@raphaelstocker9874 They have a discord with some demo sessions, you can find the link to their discord on their KS updates page.
I've been looking forward to this game for a while and its so cool to see you cover it!! :D Would love to see a play through (even if its at two!) just to get a sense of what the game is like at the lower player count.
Cannot believe I’ve only just found you guys! 🤦🏻♂️ These vids are honestly so brilliant. 🙌🏼🎉 I'm so mad at RUclips for not showing me your vids sooner! 😅
This looks really interesting. Don't usually like this type of game but this video sure makes me want to try it. Especially at a 6-8 player count when you have 2 demi-god cards. Thanks for the great video!
It's quite important to note that the age cards are known from the beginning of the round, so you can plan ahead and save cards to influence the outcome - the rules overview made it seem like the Chaos age card was face down the entire round, and at the end of the round you could just get completely screwed over by it because you didn't know what would come up. Which would make it a lot more random, unpredictable and likely frustrating.
I wish I would have watched this while the kickstarter was live!! I'm going to pick this us when it hits retail! Would y'all play it on Tabletop Simulator?
This game looks like awesome- thanks for the preview, guys! :)
Pure social deductions frustrate me sometimes, but my favorite is probably Deception: Murder in Hong Kong or Insider, while my boyfriend's is Blood on the Clocktower.... which has too many roles for me. I think I prefer games with the social deduction element, such as A War of Whispers or Love Letter.
This looks really nice. Simple in execution and complex in strategy :-) Do you feel that there are too many cards on the board (especially on the city tile)?
Played tts version. I didn't think so. There is only number of cards per player. So it is not too bad.
Great video. I was on the fence and your video wants me to get it. Thank you for taking the time to create this content.
For social deduction dies CLUE count? My brother wins every time.
How does this game differ from Heimlich & Co or Clans (other than maybe looking better, being more complicated, and taking longer)?
It reminded me of an overwrought Heimlock & Co too! And for me that's not a good thing. 😑
@@Viragomp Agreed! I really want to like this one and am wondering what I'm missing.
@@m.schwarz I know if I got it I'd be looking to sell before long. The gameplay doesn't call me. It sure is an attractive and interesting‐looking board but that's not enough.
Are y'all able to speak on how it is at two players? Not sure if that's allowed since it's a paid preview 🙂
I'll likely play the majority of games at this count, so I'm curious how it works for this type of deduction game 🙂
It's more chess-like at 2 players. It's fun but really shines with more players.
@@johnrmc70 perfect, thanks!
@@boardgametime-lapses2709 We're gonna try and post a 2 player video next week!
@@IVGamesStudio that would be fantastic, thank you!!
@@johnrmc70 I had the same impression as well - from this very cursory look, I'd say 4 players appears to be the sweet spot. Are there any rule adjustments for a lower player count? If not, the three quest cards appear to be rolled over pretty slowly if only two players are involved ...
