There is no doubt in my mind Alexis loved these Orca, the pure joy is written all over his face. The way he interacts with them is very special... But unfortunately no matter how much he, Dawn, Ken & the others that have died or been attacked love these beautiful creatures their needs are NOT being met. Yes they are loved, but they are also disciplined and moved from park to park and they are forced to live amongst whales that in the wild they would not socialise with... The babies are shipped out and this is the cruelest thing of all... I love Orca's id love to swim and play in the water with them - but would I? No especially the ones in captivity... They are all ticking time bombs. Especially Tilikum as he has proven 3 times... bless his huge heart 💙
Como Alex (DEP) yo sufrí un accidente en el loroparque, trabajando bajo el agua, en el que fue por culpa de los medios usados y el mantenimiento del material, sufriendo una hipoxia e hipotermia en el agua, llegando a quedar inconsciente bajo el agua, y me salve gracias a que mi compañero no se vio tan afectado, el problema de este parque es que solo ven el dinero y en absoluto se preocupan por los trabajadores, son mierda para el guarro del aleman, Alex descansa en paz, ojalá algun dia paguen.

I hate that his Mother , fiancé, family and friends lost him in such a senseless way but he looks like a young man who loved life everyday (as my son did) -knowing that has made it hurt a bit less and I hope the same Alexis Martinez's loved ones. The photos and music set to "Footprints" was not expected but seeing him in them was beautiful..

Had they dealt with it properly then Dawn would still be here as the trainers would be out of the water and behaving as they did after Dawn's death. They even said he had drowned his autopsy said differently According to the analysis, the immediate cause of death was a “pulmonary edema”, while the fundamental cause of death was “mechanical asphyxiation due to compression and crushing of the thoracic abdomen with injuries to the vital organs”. The examination not only reveals multiple fractures - “the entire anterior rib cage”, sternum, ribs - and injuries - “bruised lungs with rips in the pleura”, “liver with a wide tear” - but also the bite marks of the animal: “The rounded marks of the external exam are compatible with the teeth marks of an orca. Amigo, usan solo 2 ballenas en cada espectáculo. Las otras descansan mientras. Esta claro que deberían estar en libertad, pero gracias a estos parques, se preservan las especies. Es posible que alguna de estas orcas hubiesen muerto si estuvieran el libertad, enfermedad, ataque de algún otro depredador... Aquí las cuidan, tienen médicos, alimentos diarios adecuados... Y sobre todo, sus entrenadores las quieren muchísimo. Y eso, aunque no lo creas, todos os animales lo necesitan y lo sienten.

Although I am very much well activist. and I hate all of this captivity thing. is crawling and someone embarrassing to keep them in captivity. although I must admit Alexis really brings out the beauty of the orchid and human relation. although we all must remember not all is well in captive life... And it is so sad it took this young man's life and Diane also... And so many more to come if we don't put them back where we got them. SeaWorld has made such a big mess here... If you ask me I think they should clean it up now.. Not later. for the sake of us all

If you choose to get into a bathtub with the top predator of the ocean then be prepared that you might not come out alive especially if you have treated said predator the way you would treat a dog who did tricks for you. I would never wish harm on anyone but at the same time I don't feel sorry for the guy. He was riding the animal's back... waving cheerily at the crowd! Yeah great that you are enjoying yourself... Poor Keto and all the other orcas... Yeah I love these animals which is why I am sitting on it's back while it is out of the water (which it should never be due to it's body weight potentially crushing it's internal organs)... While it does tricks for our desire in a tiny concrete tank full of chemicals, where it lives it's entire life, deprived of any sonar capability, deafened by the noise of these stadiums, forced to breed, separated from families and forced to live with literal strangers, fed frozen, dead fish... regardless of whether they are fish eating orcas or not... Don't have much sympathy, and cannot understand how a supposed animal lover could condone this type of abuse....

Bueno es cierto que los zoológicos de hoy en día hacen bastante por la conservación de especies, pero eso no tiene nada que ver con los espectáculos utilizando a los animales, eso es lo que se debería prohibir por completo. @carebearfan1223 He was an orca trainer at Loro Parque in Tenerife, and during the rehearsal of the Christmas show, an incident occured with one of the whales and he drowned. It wasn't his fault, and it wasn't the orca's fault: these things happend sometimes.

Bueno es cierto que los zoológicos de hoy en día hacen bastante por la conservación de especies, pero eso no tiene nada que ver con los espectáculos utilizando a los animales, eso es lo que se debería prohibir por completo. Pero estoy seguro que loro parque igual que otros muchos parques tmb hacen buenas acciones en pro de los animales aunque eso no suele verse luego reflejado
Deberías verte los documentales de ex adiestradores que trabajaron en esos lugares antes de comentar estupideces, lo unico que les interesa es el dinero y nada mas, PURAS MENTIRAS DICEN! nisiquiera conservan especies ya deberias de haber abierto los ojos y si aun no lo hiciste yo creo que ya es hora de un poco de empatia.
