WIP: CandySorter Homing and Hopper feed test

  • This is the first prototype of a potential new project for RealRobots classes. The flashing lights are actualy 3 LEDs, a red, blue and green. They are each shone onto a candy and the reflected light of each is measured using a photoresistor which is then used to judge the candy colour .
    When started, the carriage runs in reverse, constantly checking the reflected light, when the candy window is above the light sensor the machine sees the difference between that and the plastic disc now has a zero point. This may or may not end up being a better solution than a simple endstop switch.
    Looks like the candy hopper is clogging, so that needs some work too.
