Hi Carina and Mike, I like what you are doing. Keep going.
I am a retired teacher and an obsessed amateur RUclipsr from Belfast Northern Ireland. I have so far made 2100+ youtube videos of interesting places old and new etc from in and around Belfast and even our foreign holidays. lol.
Like yourselves, I am one of the few local, Northern Ireland interest, RUclipsrs, who adds an explanatory commentary along with their videos.
We overlap a little bit in what we are doing so I thought you might be interested in seeing what I am about. If not.....no worries. Best wishes Tom McClean

I have found Alan that most people do not want or like going on camera and speaking. Look around RUclips very few people actually speak or do a commentary. They put music on instead and run words across the bottom of the film. Searching out the local historian who is willing to speak is a job and a half. I know that most of my videos are not really planned beforehand. I haven't time to plan. I hardly have time to film and edit. My filming is usually spontaneous.
