I'm back with some study tips for final exams / finals week! I go over my productive final exam study routine / how to study for final exams and what I typically do to prepare for my finals.
Here's a summary of the tips:
1. Prioritize, prioritize, prioritize. Make sure you're not wasting time on perfect notes or getting stuck on menial, unimportant things by making a priority list of your exams + the topics you need to go over based on your personal strengths and weaknesses.
2. Make a study schedule and stick to it by making it realistic and very specific and based on the priority lists you made.
3. Some other study tips I included were using the Forest app while studying, using whatever method is fastest for you to memorize / learn, not listening to music with voices, and drinking less coffee.

It's important to study a few days before an exam so when the exam comes we are in a relaxed state of mind
I wished you told me that a little earlier..
i wish the teachers knew that! i get random exams...
Do you not get told in America when your exams are? In the uk they are in may so we have months to revise lol
@@georgefield1862 No we don't here in US all the time, they'll do pop quizzes and such. UK educational system is definitely more fair but i do think tuffer at the same time
@ George Field yup! it’s definitely random. it is difficult, however if you study randomly without a test ahead you’re golden!
I aced my biology exam yesterday after so much studying, I'm so happy :))
But here's my tips :
We would take notes in class very quickly and after every class I would have around 4 pages of messy notes.. After every lesson I would just rewrite them, make them clearer and easier to study with by colorcoding them and highlighting, bullet point method etc... Over 4 months I used this method, revised with these notes for my tests in between.. And I revised every 56 pages or so in only about 2h the day before the exam!! I still had everything in my mind and that's the most important thing - the information just has to get into your long-term memory!
Thanks for the advice 👍
Oh, this is really helpful and a really good idea! Thanks! :D
Thanks!
Thanks n
Congrats
This is exactly how i study too i scribble all notes of ehat they take in school and come home and try to decode everything haha
This trick actually made me from a C student to a straight A student
Everyone - talks about her room and her aestheticity
Me ( meanwhile ) - 2:06, looks with an awe at her sticky notes collection!!!
IKR LOL I WANT SOME
@Candy plays games me too😂😂🙄🙄👀👀
Oh Ikr
Ikr me too
Random woman (me): GET THE FREAKING CANDLES OFF THE FLOOR, YOU’LL BURN THE HOUSE DOWN!!!😰😨😵💫
favorite tip: nothing has to be perfect
Also my favorite part of the video is how satisfying that glass pen at the beginning is
I think it's a fountain pen
@@vocaloid7916 nope!
I meant the very first clip. Fountain pens have a metal nib, usually gold or steel, and a reservoir to keep the ink in, or a place to keep a cartridge or converter. But yeah, the glass dip pens have more of a "fountain" aesthetic so you're right on that part.
I’m watching this instead of studying😫😂😂
Same..
Same 🤣
same😭😭😭😭

I would never be depressed again if my room was like her’s
Soovin Jang samee🤣
RIGHT LIKE WTAF
Me too😂😂
That’s not how depression works, but go awf.
That is not how depression works. Some ppl in my family hv real depression (u r just exagerrating) they hv meds and everything. I might hv it but i know its ot cuz of genes. My parent only got it last year but im born b4 that.
Favourite Tip: You don’t need to make your notes perfect ( for your exams ) , since I waste soooooo much time trying to make my notes favourite TT
Totally agree. Try QuizNext, they have active notes where one can play with notes and revise fast.
Army??? (I see Koya xD
@@yourmom-eu5dp I'm army
Yes u r correct
Let us all take a moment to admire her handwriting 🤩
And I'm watching this instead of studying for my exams
Same
Congo 100 likes..
Haha same 😆
I also like to write my notes on grid paper! It makes everything looks so ordered and neat. It's especially good for courses that are science/maths based.
I should probably do that but I would need like 50 books per school year
I currently use normal lined books
My entire course is science 😅
Congrats on 100k!!
Thank you!!
@Ankita Dutta she has 577k now her channel has grown so much
@@najatbazzi1786 712k now✌🏻

Now it's nearly 760k!!
Me: watching videos about studying: *imma do that*
Also me: Still in bed 5-6 hours later🤣
Me too
Omg that mildliner smearing on muji ink 😭😭🤡
😂😭
yeah i have the same problem idk if its the ink or the mild liner LOL
@jonathan Both actually, the mildliner is terrible with smudging and the muji pen is terrible too.
My favorite tip: nothing has to be perfect
My life... (the not being perfect part🤣)
I like the part about not listening music with lyrics. I find myself constantly listening to kpop and getting distracted. However, I've been exploring the lofi genre and I find my concentration improving! Thanks for the tip! UwU
Same, i have even a playlist with lyricless songs, because.... The voices distract me most of the time.
I listen mostly to chill mixes
I will suggest you to listen to audio playlist if you are studying.. esp I would prefer the playlist with songs that you don't know.
It helps you to not get distract. And give yourself a break for 5 min after 30min. Drink water and dance while you play your favourite songs.
I know your problems as I am A Kpop fan myself.OH, one thing play your songs on lowest voleum so it will play but you won't get draged into the song.
@@storer278 Thank you uwu
@@bread8008 You are welcome...^-^
I tried to listen to kpop music while DOING MY HOMEWORK back in 6th grade..
Ended up singing along with the songs-
I seriously have an improvement on my studies. As all schools are closed during this period, I’ve noticed quite a few changes in my studying habits. My finials are around 3-4 month’s time, and you’ve gave me certain ways to calm myself down (as I suffer from exam stress) I also love how you’re so generous to share all these tips that you’ve went through from experiences. Totally would share this with my friends. God bless you for your kind heart. :) 😄
I like the part/tip " I know nothing"
I dunno , it is very relatable for me, coz i easily forget everything i've learned from our teacher... Do u know the feeling that you understand the lesson but after some minute you don't know about the topic anymore? So i do reaaalllyy make sure to try my very best to reviewww my lesssonnssss!!
Favorite tip :
Removing the distractions, is great, I have been using The Forest app for a quite a while now, and have found it super useful, also listening to music without voices, is important too, since the voices distract me a lot while studying!
It’s so hard for me to let go of my iced coffees , it’s become part of my daily life but I️ really want to drink less 😩
I can totally relate! I was a total coffee addict for YEARS, and I only finally got around to trying to go caffeine free a few months ago and it literally changed. my. life. I didn’t realize how badly I was sleeping or how tired I felt all the time until I went fully caffeine free. My trick is to just drink decaf coffee- I tried going completely free and ended up missing the taste too much, so switching to decaf makes it seem like you’re still drinking it even though it’s not giving you the caffeine boost!
I would say if you make your own coffee then you should add less amount of coffee beans or powdered coffee(or soluable coffee) ...I was a coffee ADDICT like ADDDIIICTTTT for almost 5 years. And I used to put around 5-6 teaspoons of coffee in a cup (of 170ml...man i was crazy) and I used to drink 2cups of it in 24 hours without sugar... anyway..after doing that everyday I thought I should change this as it harmed my body like hell..after my final exam I had around 3 months...
So, 1stly I redused that 6 spoons in 4. And one cup a day.It was hard. I had severe headache for almost 4 days but after it lessend.
Then I added 2 spoons of suger to sweeten it up...and like that I started to reduce the amount of coffee while maintaining my suger in 1.5 to 2 spoons.
By end of the month I only added 1.5 spoons of coffee in my cup( it is the same cup) and its really okay for me now to stay awake with 1 spoon of caffine.
And my advise for you would be cutting the amount of coffee you have in a day. Like if you don't have the need to drink then don't drink that day. That way you will reduce your dependence on coffee..
And for starting I would recommend you to lessen the coffee and add water to lighten up the coffee.
I hope that you can reduce your addiction as I did. But you should do it if you have sometime by urself like vacation days or after the finals when you won't have to go out too much...BEST OF LUCK. And for anything you can ask me.
@@StudyToSuccess I don't think I can give up coffee, but I'm more or less giving it up for winter break (still gonna have it on days I have work)
Drink water aka agua
And here I am not wanting coffee.
Feels like foreign coffee has lot more caffeine in it
I’m almost about to freaking cry this is so aesthetic I wanna be this neat I can’t wait to go buy all kinds of pens 😭😭💕
My favorite tip is the one of being realistic, because I’m always saying am studying anything and end up not doing anything. I’ve been practicing your tip and having realistic and good-timed schedule for studying thx
Pd: Watching ur vids from Mexico 🇲🇽 🙋♀️
Favorite tip :A committed schedule is what I struggle most which is why I should prioritize with my assignments!!! Thank you again !!! I'll be applying this on my EMT test .
The part about being honest with yourself when planning your studying is so true but also soooo hard🙃📚
Everything she says about what happens before our finals is so TRUE.
I always try to put all the work into my mind that it makes me go CRAZY.
Fourite tip: Prioritise the things you need to do, and to be realistic about your study schedule
Me: I need to make sure I study and am ready for each subject
Also me: let’s rewatch the avengers for the fifth time!
For me, its either a christmas prince (one of the 3 movies) or stranger things
Lol literally same. I have exams and I have a hard time studying social science. I finsihed dinner early and now instead of making sure I know everything. I just keep the thought "I know stuff" or "I can study before the exam". I have continuous exams with no leave dates for studying since I am having periodic tests
Fav tip : removing distraction
Coz I get distracted easily😥
My favorite part is in The beggining, the "ideal world". Cause that was my most 'inspiring' for my studies.
omg yes!!! my fav tip was to prioritize - I’ve been writing everything i need to do, and then listing out what I’m going to do first. It really helps me stay on track!
My Favorite tip!! Try and study important topics with someone else from the class. Usually the other person(s) will have a good grasp on the course material, or vice versa. Studying with them in 15 minute bursts over the course of an hour or two can really help the both of you understand, memorize, and retain key information longer.
I love that motivation you sent, you showed me that is not that difficult to get yourself to study and you have not to make your notes perfect.
My favorite tip was to write the things you have to study by priority on the schedule and I loved the different colors she used for each test, it made her schedule even more organized and pretty
My favorite part is the organization of everything obviously and the color coding! This is exactly what I do and writing, organizing and color coding are so helpful
I like studying while listening to the sound of rain 🌧
Favorite part : the way u set up ur study place. So calm. ❤️
My favorite tip is to keep calm and take neat notes and how to make a todo list you are a life saver
best tip is probably to prioritise what you cover. I always put off doing things I find hard or subjects I don't like as less but putting those things earlier on in the list means that I am only left with things I enjoy.
estella you have helped me so much I can finally say I’m so much more productive and organised and amazing tysm I ,over watching ur videos 24/7!
I am a med student from south Africa, done with my finals about 3 weeks ago but it is very efficient to watch this without being under pressure
Stuck in quarantine what a better way to study... but instead I'm watching videos on how to study because it's so aesthetically pleasing to see.
Make a study schedule+ once you make it you should know you’re not going to change it is the point i was looking for 💗
My favorite tip was making a realistic study schedule. I'm sure it will help me a lot! Thank you, your video was really helpful
My favorite tip is "You don't need to make your notes perfect ". I usually take down and it was really wasting my time taking down notes that long and thank you for wonderful tip it would make my notes easy and I would able to answer the exam. 😊
How can someone have so much grace and patience 🌻🌻🌻
I really loved when you have talked about the type of music to listen and the caffein drop, great advice!
my favorite part of the vid was when you talked about having a schedule and actually sticking to it. i struggle with sticking to schedules bc i always try to add more as the day goes 😔
I can't stop watching this channel because it's so beautiful
My favorite tip is when you said we should set realistic study goals and not just tell ourselves we gonna get every single thing done but make it realistic for ourselves and that will make us study smart
my fav tip: make realistic schedule as i always replan the schedule and then give up on making schedule for the week
My favorite part is when you were explaining which category or class to start with because it helped me study faster and in groups of topics with summaries
i really need to start sticking to my study calendar, that was the best tip for me!
My favorite part was the ideal me while finals week ,would be such a dream to do other things than studying. I am happy when the stress is over.
I love the tip for making schedules and planning. That's what helped me not feel too anxious and actually complete my syllabus in time. :)
Thank you so much! I have finals in two-ish weeks and I've been really stressed as this is my first time taking finals other than in math. This helped me get organized and be more productive.
Favourite Tip : Definitely about the prioritizing because that's the most important thing if you really want to get over with the stuff that matters. I always end up doing the easy ones and crib over the difficult ones just because I don't prioritise properly.
A very satisfying part was your DESK!!! It looks so aesthetic 😍 love it with candles and stuff❤️
my favorite tip was writing down positive affirmations...it really helps
i love how you used a white ink gel pen on purple paper...it's so important to spice things up when it comes to note-taking because note-taking can be pretty boring and i agree...i prefer handwritten notes over my typed ones as well
I literally just finished my finals before watching this.
Clearly I crammed everything last minute
Are you vietnamese?
my fave part of the video certainly was the intro, it's so so gorgeous, and also your notes are remarkable!! I think my fave tip was pre-planning, asking yourself where you stand in each of the courses, and what you need to do/what is expected from you. Also thought it was a good idea to email your prof about exam breakdown by course material. Thanks so much!
Loved your video! Favourite tip: break down a large topic into smaller realistic items. This reeeeally helped me during my finals. It’s glad to see that others do the same :)
I love that you have a great learning environment and a well organized study desk with lots of interesting stationery..
First exam is tomorrow, I've studied but still so scareddd
Don't get panic u know well trust in u 😊
@@jamjam-fj8lv thank you!! Doing a last minute review of all my lectures feeling quite confident I'm my knowledge let's hope I do well tomorrow!
@@darahcastro1223 yah u do well I hope too 💜
What I am always least prepared for since the last year is physics, once upon a time I loved it and it loved me , I still love it but it outgrew of its love for me😔👌
My favorite part is when you realize that your notes don’t have to be perfect at all, as long as you understand them and they are useful for you. Congrats for the video!
My favorite tip would be the ways to easily retain the items you have studied, which is for me personally, writing notes. Aside from coffee you might want to try tea, a little bit of caffeine and much more soothing ❤️
fave tip- you don’t need to make your notes look amazing and super neat as it takes up so much time 🌸
I'm having my final exams and instead of revising I'm watching I love her handwriting and I'm studying for 7 hours before I was studying for half hour and I improved my handwriting thanks for ur help
Favorite tip was drinking less coffee. I have realized that coffee can make you more anxious and this is because it raises your blood pressure, hence you feel a rush of energy and more awake. Maybe not more focused but you do feel somewhat alert. I can say this is true when I decided to drink coffee while taking an exam. I could feel my heart beat faster! I guess I needed this video to confirm and help me make a decision 😅
I like your cozy environment it's perfect for studying😘
My favourite tip : I love using colourful pens because It makes me remember the information easily.
Personally, I like watching these types of videos because they give me motivation to tackle my work and get my studying done. One of my favorite tips is to have a self-reward system. This personally really helps me because it motivates me to do my work and to finish it. Once I have finished a time-consuming task, I am happy because I finished the assignment and because I can now do something I look forward to for a few minutes before getting back to doing work.
I get motivation too. I thought I'm the only one hehe😂
Your hand writing is to die for-
PLEASE SHOW ME HOW D:
my favorite tip of the video was probably the part when you gave tips about the day before exam ! and also laying off coffee
My favorite tip was to rank exams from least to most prepared for. Thanks for this video it was very helpful😊
Hello there!🤗thank you for this video. It’s our finals week and we have similarities in studying for exams. Forest app, instrumental background music for studying are really useful to prioritize and not to procrastinate💛
Lo que más me gusto del video es donde nos enseñan a prepararnos mentalmente y emocionalmente para un examen final, por que estoy muy proxima a hacerlos y me parece que son ideas muy utiles y maravillosas
I agree so much, focusing on making your notes look pretty takes so much time and focus away from actually revising. I did that once, and completely failed the actual test because I was too busy making the notes and revision look pretty. Don't do it guys pls
Love all your videos! You are amazing! I love all your tips. I also love how you mentioned if you are a caffeine drinker maybe cut back to half as much. Great advice. Good luck on your finals! You got this!
I'm really feeling confident after seeing her video and I'm ready to beat exams
Wow tysm for the tips I know it’s not the end of the school year yet but it’s getting closer i can now study without stress. Finals is a rlly big deal for me bc I don’t want to go back to the same grade again especially with the hard worksheets and homework u have. Tysm again for the study tips I hope u get a 100 a+ mark on finals
Even though SATS got cancelled, you made my push hard and even though it was all for nothing I know in the future I will be a better, more organized person
omg i love this video its so aesthetic and your writing is so neat/colourful. i like the to-do lists, i should make my own so i can be more organized like you
I really love when you write,, and when show your notes Its something bautiful! also Ilove too listen Studio Ghlibli when I studie
Wow I love how you organise your stationary it’s so pretty with all of the rainbow colours!❤️
Favorite tip: Prioritize. That's it.
Thank you.
Thankyou so much for uploading this video , I'm in high school and this is my exam week so found this video really helpful ! ❤️❤️ #myfavouritetip : don't focus on your handwriting while making notes during exam week , just scribble coz only u need to understand what's written. I always end up wasting time trying to make perfect notes , now I won't make the same mistake . Thanks 🌸😊
Your handlettering is GOALS! you go girl!
Favorite tip: I think my favorite tip was to not try to make your notes look perfect even though sometimes we want for our notes to look as pretty as we ask we can make them or as beautiful as we can picture them it won't help if you're just trying to make them pretty but you're not really taking in the information I sometimes spend like pretty much the whole afternoon to try to make certain notes pretty that I don't get through any other homework or are there other studying so I think that was a very helpful tip for me, something that reminds me that you know we don't have to make them perfect
I really like the idea of having a study calender and its really cute
Favorite tip: be realistic about what we can do in one day, I usually end up writing a lot of thing to do in just one day:( I'm in the process of changing that
my favorite tip is to get as realistic as possible! when planning your schedule or even by taking notes (they don’t have to be instagram perfect)
I love the entire aesthetic of this video, and all the tips were so helpful!
I just love her pens, book 📚, and everything
Everyone: she is so perfect and hardworking!!
Can never be me!😭
Her:lazy, cozy, daisy!
Guys, shes like us and is lazy and playful. We can all be her.
I just love the box papers you use just love it!!!!
I like the part ot the calender it's great to schedule your days to study a subject for the exam and ecc
My favourite tip is "you don't need to be have prettiest not you can use your ugly looking notes"💛
I have 2 favorite tip from your video. The first one is, I don't need make the perfect notes. Sometimes, I lose my whole time just because to make my notes look perfect. And in the end, I feel tired to read them again. The second point, drink less coffe. When I have final exam, I have a great motivation to learning everything in a whole day. And, coffe is the important thing in my schedule. But, after that, I have insomnia and in the day for final exam, I can't do a great work for my final exam. Thank you for your tip. Sorry for my bad english 😂
