  • Part 2 finishing up the transmission replacement, new clutch, and rear main seal. He swore the loud whining was a bad read end it took me 5 min to figure out it was the bad transmission bevel gear. We had to swap the trans until we can find a good set of bevel gears. Problem solved off to the next client.

When I was about 11-12 years old (1978-79) I met my friends dad. He was a heavy mechanic for the city. Working on dump trucks, trash trucks, dozers, ect. His hands were all rough, cut up and encrusted with grime. I thought that was the coolest thing ever. I told him so and he said "Son, my wife hasn't let me touch her in 30 years, it's cars or girls". I became a musician! 😂😂😂

As I have said in re- ply to another video which I was watch- ing, more cleaning of the coaches makes the jobs you do a lot nicer. The engine bay I must say is immaculate. When I owned my truck w/ my friend, a c.o.e.Freightliner,it was powerwashed a lot and made maintenance a lot easier.Road grime & salt, an annoying combo. I know the buses are harder to keep clean under- neath unlike a semi tractor. Another thing I wanted to reply to was about the Wanderlodge w half a bank

By the looks of the heat cracks in that flywheel someone has been slipping the clutch a lot, this is all down to the driver taking of in to high a gear or holding the vehicle on the clutch on hills instead of using the parking brake.

Big difference between an annoyance and,oh,say, badly corroded and stress cracked suspension mounts. The one is a pain to deal with. The other kills people. Important to know the difference. Cheers.

Would it be possible for you to put "Part One" in the title page or a link in the description of this one to make it easier to find. Is this an oversight or do you normally put "Part 1, 2 etc." to make them easier to find if it is a multiple part job? Makes it easy to type in to the search box. Just started watching your channel lately. Thanks.
