In the first game the reason why you almost die to regen leads was because of the amount sent. If he only sent one set you would have been fine, but since he sent 3-4 sets, the cobras wouldn't target the popped blacks and instead shoot at the incoming, non popped leads.

lmao i used cobra boomer spike two year ago. btw you can greed a lot with just a 1-2 spike, because any bigger rush it would be worth it to turbo or boost. it works pretty well on maps like snowy, cards, offside, temple, swamp etc. you can make your opponents underestimate you and catch them off guard.
jajajosh used it against me first, i adopted it from him. its a pretty good strat, but very hard to pull off if you are playing a sweaty tryhard

Lowkey you win that space station game if you just put some cobras on first. There's literally no reason for not doing that when there's no reds naturally in the ai. The few, few pops you'll gain extra just... are less important than having all that popping power be inefficient. I mean a few, sure, just not most of them.
