ANYONE looking to gain some wisdom from this guy. It is solid advice I was able to successfully trap out a nuisance job on my first attempt. You should be stoked about this new video. I did exactly what he does and I cleaned them out.
Got to scratch my trapping itch early !! Thanks for taking us along.. I thought your time with 330 Maniac had showed itself but you finally brought your setters .. Good stuff Amigo, looking forward to trapping season , I'll be watching.
Perfect timing. Great refresher video. Going to set tomorrow for some new nuisance beavers that have moved in and started damming the creek again where I took out 25 before. Was hoping to wait until after deer season, but they're going to do too much flooding by then. So, I'll get after them tomorrow. Thanks for sharing.
Great video! My last couple of years at work before I retired this summer I went out and kept a lookout for the beaver that had made a series of damns on a small creek at the edge of our property while on breaks. I got lucky and saw them a handful of times during the day. They had someone come out because they about to cause large trees fall across a major road in the area. They thought they had them all trapped out, but I kept watching. Didn't tell the powers that be but, I did end up seeing one more midsized beaver about 8 months later. Glad you have a new spot that a landowner will let you trap hopefully, if he's smart.
Wow,those beavers can really do some damage.glad a permit was issued so u can start thinning out the heard.Stu I watched your boat building Vids and actually found u from Spencer's Fishing channel. My family was in the boat biz for many years in Highland illinois so I really enjoyed watching your boat an fishing shows, top notch too.Keep up the good work, hope the trapping goes good for you this season.
The first video of yours I watched was with the raccoons and the only trap that didn't get one was the one your camera was watching! I'm happy you got it on this one!!! Keep up the awesome work!!!
Great video Stu! Doing the same right now and nice to see the beaver market is looking "good" this year as well as the castor. Also money for the tails/skulls and the trims used for marten/fisher sets. The rest goes to the coyote RAM piles. Good luck and trap safe!!
Awesome catches buddy!!! Beaver trapping is definitely one of my favorites to do!!! I don’t use 330s though!!! Well remember keep up all the hard work buddy!!!!
I needed this video. I’ve been doing a nuisance job this week, and have caught 2 beaver, 1 was40+ pounds, the other only 15. I was hoping for twice that. Tonight is the last night of my contract. Hoping to hit the Hail Mary and catch a couple tonight.
Great video Stu!!! Video idea.... up and close (detailed) video on how each type of your traps functions. i.e. How the jaws are held open, triggers, catches, safety features, etc. Would really like to know more about how to set and how a conibear is triggered?
You said Stu ... "make sure the safeties are off" and they were still on went you placed the trap in the mud ! LOL amazing that you caught another beaver in it though !
@@streeterboyzoutdoors i saw that , going to rack up when i start setting . we are looking to expand the properties to get on new colonies . the drought is making it rough . if you catch another badger this season , give me a chance to bid on it . looking to get one tanned .it can be case skinned without the feet . we do not have any here .
Great video Stu! Even though it's not cold out is pelt worth anything? So was your barter to get rid of the nuance beaver you get to trap all season or did you get paid to trap the beavers? Just curious.
You trap like I do. Put out as many traps as the area will hold, so everybody has a trap, and nobody has to wait in line. If you give them to much time, they will figure it out, and you will get trap refusal. In north Florida there are a lot of beaver educated to body grips, so I mostly use snares & footholds.
I have learned so much from you catching predators, huge fan! I’m very limited in experience with 330s and critters in the water. Why do you set those 330s with the trigger whiskers sticking up instead of down?
You were managing, if you were doing damage control, its clean up. I make very good money on these kinds of jobs. When I am done I give a guarentee for 60 days or it's on me.
Love the content, but the video is super shaky... Not sure if you are on your phone or on a gopro, it needs some stabilization. I'll struggle through it regardless.
These are not fighting words. lol. nuisance Beavers are not a species type. They are called Beavers, and while they do a lot of good things, they can also do a lot of bad things and cause a bunch of problems. We as humans are now trying to work with beavers, so they are not causing problems and then, beavers are happy to build very nice ecosystems out in nature. 🙂
I think your not really understanding why they are called nuisance beaver. Nobody said it was a subspecies, it's more a description of their actions and results of said actions.

It is always a good feeling to help with a nuisance call! Great work Stu!

Thanks Stu for featuring my trapping pic

"Look at the set from the beavers perspective" - excellent advice!

Nice catches Stew those 330s are hard to set by hand! I think Scott has that down pat. look like about a 50pounder you caught.😁👍👍
Glad to see new videos on the channel again, thank you for the great content!
Awesome catches buddy!!! Beaver trapping is definitely one of my favorites to do!!! I don’t use 330s though!!! Well remember keep up all the hard work buddy!!!!
Really like the " End of Line " pics. It's always interesting to me to see what other trappers have caught.

I can't wait for the season I losted three properties. I still have a small one that's good for me I can still get out for now 💯💯💯💯👍🏽

Good ol Illinois weather! 😂 Great video.

That one was a giant!!!!!! Awesome job man!
It's interesting to see all the runs n holes when you drain it
Great work Stu! Can’t wait to trap my first beaver! Awesome video.
Nice!
Can you show skinning your deer on your skinning machine this year?
I got some beaver on my property as well, thanks for the details on trapping them.
Very nice content as always!
Love your videos! Hope to see some coon sets from this area in the next month or so!
the big female was about to have kits , it was good to get her out of there .
Hey Dan did you see Groenewold said a market for beaver this season 20.00 green.

As always another great video sir!!! Best wishes to you on your upcoming season!!!
You mentioned the water was not deep enough for a foot-hold trap. How deep does it need to be?
Could you do a video about hip waders, which ones hold up, the ones to avoid, and some decent ones for beginners
Awsome video👍. would love some more videos on how you dispatch skunks🦨
Good informative video, thanks for showing

Nice job , are the skins ok this time of year?, thanks
Enjoyed the video!
Always a very nice presentation!
U are always giving out good information
Nice jobs fella. Was wondering if you have dimensions for fox boarding like your coyote boards?
Great video , they sure did a large amount of damage to the property. Good job!

😊
Nice beaver!! Could youshow us what your drone looks like.
Excited to see trapping again. November 1st can't get here soon enough
I love watching and learning your ways of trapping.
DO you ever finish the hide, or tan it?
More good stuff. Thanks man.
Awesome vid. I also used a drone on my last beaver trapping video
Great video!
Good job Stu
Great vid as always
I love beaver. Trapping . C ya man thanks for the videos pay this man
Good job 👍
We’re in a terrible drought here in Indiana
I was just thinking about a hour ago it's been awhile since you did a video then get the notification
Great job 👍

Awesome
Great video. What drone do you use?
Love your videos. Learned a ton. Just curious and trying to learn. Why not set a 330 on the bank den?
even though its not trapping season can you harvest the castor from them when trapped as a nuisance
Great job.
Would you care to do another beaver skinning video this season if you have the time?
👍👍👍
awesome video Thanks for sharing brother
You should do some trapping with 330maniac or trapper J
Hey Stu,what kind of camera do you use to film with?
Where is the beaver pocket set I was hoping to see. Leg hold or 220
Are these things good to eat ? No inappropriate comments please !!
yes they are . when you can get to them soon after a catch . we eat a lot of them . great backstraps on the grill and hind quarters in the crockpot .
I've heard him say in the past that they are very good eating!
Great video.
I grind mine up and use it as an extender for ground beef. Other than being a bit drier than beef, you can hardly tell the difference.
Keep the videos coming
Great videos bud
👍
330 is such an amazing and versatile trap. Is it legal to use it as a foothold there? Can also do that if it is.
I've cleaned out 8 mile sections of rivers and swamps of beaver and there were no beaver for years afterwards.
Those dead Ash trees will make get firewood 🪵 🔥
nice job.

16:30 I'd really like to see you wear gloves!

Why did they wait so long
Well dam!😂
Carry your shooty gun for Doves and Ducks!
Back in the big city in the early 80s there was no such thing.
Ya know
What a muddy mess
Help the land owner now, maybe they give you permission to trap Dering season..
Dead ash trees…
“Nuisance beaver” is redundant.
Don't you get paid for nuisance trapping? I seen Groenewold fur wants beavers they are buying all across the country.
Great video as usual
Looks like a flood plane to me....
Nice work man!!!! Did I see you left the left side safety on one of those 330's you set?
👍👍
