How about addressing the additional cost to a landlord.

I have a single family rental which I have owned for over 50 years. I am over 75 years old. The simple business license application (40 min tutorial) is rediculous.

Does not apply to single unit. But give it a little time. That is next. Sell now and get out of Denver County while you can.

@@grabir01Actually it does apply to single family homes that are rented. You must apply for the license by 12/31/23.

@@judyl.761 it does apply to single units. I just had to have an inspection and apply for a license. Our governor wants to fo everything to make it harf gor owners and to hold rental prices down but an owner could easily hire a $400 inspector, pay $50 for a license and another $75 to procesd the application. All good for four years, then it starts all over at the then current fees. $525 gfor four years means a renter will get to pay an extra $11 a month. That is if the owner eats the hastle of putting the package together. If not or if they have an agent, then the extra time will be added and the renters rent goes up even more. Eight or ten or more units, maybe. Dingle units is just an abuse of owners and renters.
