This is one technique I will certainly try. Nice to see guys posing and teaching yoga for a change. For some reasons guys yoga get less views and subs than the womens ones. I just managed to finally perform handstands after 2 years of inconsistent practising. I couldn't believe it when it happened and was simply over the moon. Now I believe I can do anything.

+delana dongiovanni Hi Delana! When I press into a handstand in the middle of the room, I primarily use my back muscles (as opposed to hollowing gymnastic style). The wall technique that I used here teaches how to engage the back muscles for this type of press.

TaZama Janan u need to work on ur strength in shoulders and core and forearms/fingers. Can u do belly to wall hs push ups full range where ur head touches the floor for 5reps for 3 sets? Can u hold elbow plank for minute easy? Do 3x week. Strength is most important part of HS and hardest part. It is the foundation. Flexibility and technique make up the other two sides of the triangle but beginners need to focus on strength and work on stretching shoulders and upper back to open if tight.
