    Walter. This posting is a goldmine. This ws my very first polka album. Go it is 1956. It has Jolly Painter polka on it. Today, bands play this polka and call it Painter's Polka.

    Walter. Thanks for putting this Maksymowich album on. The Jolly Painter Polka isnone of the firat songs I learned on my accordion and was able to phonically learn the polish words. One of the greatist polkas. Today, bands play a version of the Jolly Painter Polka as the Paintee's Polka with english words. I wondwe if Maksymowicz was te first to record the Krakowic Polka.
