*i try it once without the wood plank and it didn't go so well. bumper scratch under and was about to fall off when i back the car up off the ramp. i will have to try it again next time if i cant fix the misfiring on the car.*

I am sorry to hear about the Scratches. That is why we point out using 3 wooden planks, as well as raising the jack to its highest available setting while attached to vehicle, in order to flatten out your approach angle. Good Luck with the misfire concerns.

Correct! We also have the safety chains at the front and rear, but the front basket style straps are sufficient for retaining the vehicle on the trailer.
