We went on honeymoon here 13yrs ago so very special to us.
You need to do the fish fry Friday. We were taken by a work colleague who has family in Barbados. Real local food and dancing.
The Garoson which is horse racing.
The rum tour. The one thing we did love was horse ridding through the plantations.
We stayed at the Turtle beach hotel which has now turned in to a larger family one. Every morning I used to get up at 5.30am just to find the tiny pink shells on the beach as this is the only place in the world to find them.

Who would have thought the year that was ahead of you! Its without doubt my favourite Caribbean island and miss it a great deal, and cannot wait to get back once travel restrictions are lifted and our freedom is restored. Happy days - Thanks for sharing.

I'm glad I was able to show you new parts of your beautiful island. It was very hard to find that beach it took us 30 minutes of walking around.

@@AlexandraVioleau Have not. Went is 1984 on Honeymoon and stayed at Heywoods Barbados which has now been torn down and will be developed as a "Beaches" I understand. Went in 2017 and stayed at Sandals. Island changed a lot between 1984 and 2017. We want to go back this year or next. Really enjoyed your video and the Fairmont Royal peaked my interest!

Thank you! Funny enough I filmed most of the footage with my IPhone 11 Pro Max. Some clips are from an old Sony a5000 and a Dji mavic mini.
