- ►In FCP Euro's "MINI Cupper" project, the team sets out to challenge everything you think you know about motorsport. Can building a street car that doubles as a race car be…affordable?
Taking a ~$2000 base model R56 MINI Cooper purchased from a scrapyard, some tools, and a full trunkload of quality parts from partners Bilstein and CRP Rein Automotive, the team arrives at Lime Rock Park for GRIDLIFE Circuit Legends with a single goal-drive the car in stock trim for a full day, build the car overnight, and attempt to dethrone the Hondas at the top of the class.
Will the rapid-built MINI Cupper reign supreme as the new class leader for Sundae Cup? Watch to find out!

wait the thumbnail says $2000 and you paid $2800 just for the car by itself wtf
Usually they’ll sell a couple things off the car and subtract the profits from the total cost
@daviscoady1999 I understand that premise but that certainly did not happen here
The art of bargaining! Made much easier when the car is on the scrap lot due to a rotten subframe.
@@fcpeuro-mediahi, do you happen to have the full parts list on your blog/post somewhere? Especially if there are links to fcp euro so we can buy directly?
It was great meeting you guys at the Minis to the Max event at BMW CCA museum. Thanks for supporting the exhibit and for signing my (really your) sign. Love the channel and everything you share with us at FCP Euro. Now, to go fill up another cart.
How about a parts list and cost for the build?
Sure can - parts list/cart incoming!

this is amazing, i love seeing normal road car getting modified and putting them on track. its the best racing you can have
Its as simple a form of motorsports as it gets!
Mike is just so calm and cool always. A bit jealous on his skills though…
He's the kinda friend you want to have around when youre building a car!
Oh yeah this Coper "fun" ticks off my OCD!
IT'S NAMED COOPER LIKE COOOOOOOOPER YA KNOW COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPER!
I think they are saying “cuper”. As in “World Cup” because it’s a racing car
@@maggamelon5970or you know, like Sundae Cup, the series they built it for
I really wanted to like work for you guys or something, but I really don’t wanna be associated with any of these liberal stuff. I just don’t understand why he Thought they had a moment
Lol, you borrowed the 5mm hardware from Eric Jensen, he runs the LS Powered FR-S(BR-Z?) in GLTC that's frequently top 10. I really enjoyed the video, great job 👍
That sure was him! Glad you enjoyed it
Really fucked up on this one lol none seems to like that you call it a copper ha ha ha ha ha ha That clip where he was like no Diddy Made my day
such high quality video wow. For such a 'small channel'. Very well done

Great video. Really enjoyed it. Looks like a fun car 🚙
mini cupper as in mini cup car?
I'm mad i didn't watch this earlier. Mini support!
MINI life!!
Click baited to think they could build a car for Sundae Cup for $2000. They might have paid $2000 for the car. Then dropped another $10k just to get it to what we see running around the track. This car was crusty brickle underneath.
We certainly wouldnt reccomend anyone tracking a car without it being safe/having the basics first. Minus maintenance, and not including required safety, this ended up still being an insanely low barrier to entry for motorsport. We are compiling the cart to share for visibility for people interested!
Hi gys,
The vehicle youtube of is not Mini copper the way you pronounce it there a dubble OO is C”OOOOO”per. The car was not named after the copper material. Just thought of point it out😊
But show is GREAT
They mispronounced on purpose dude. Look at the livery
