There are times when what is implied about desire is more powerful than what is expressed directly. This video was a tasteful, classy, way to illustrate the desire between 2 people without being explicit. There is a time & place to be raw & blatant & another time to be reserved. I'm cool with both. One of the things that I like about Maxwell as an artist; besides his obvious talent; are the contrasts in his music. It's not all one flavor. I also like the regard & respect that he displays for women in his art even when the content is sexual & erotic. There's a certain reverence for women that is nice to hear in his music & to see in his videos, when so many other tracks in the game are about objectifying us. One of my favorite cuts from the new project. Dope track. Dope artist. Maxwell is that blend.
