    We can't stop a gear assembly in motion ... The unstoppable aspect was what drove things ... But a magnetic gear as in this video though works but only without any load, basically negating the very purpose of a gear, which is ... to drive loads ...

    Very Cool... I Wonder How An "Induction Transmission" Would Work?..... Might Increase The Power & Make A More Useful Power Distribution With "Magnetic Gears".... No Friction Transmission? .... Ty For Inspiration!!!

    I often thought of using one of my clock plans and use RE magnets for the gears but it could get horribly expensive. Thanks for doing the video; it at least confirmed my thoughts on how it would work.

    Is there any research paper linked to this type of magnetic gears where i can find their derived mathematical model.They are called magnetic spur gears if i am not wrong

    Any ideas for a high torque high speed 20 fps linear transmission,, im doing a project but haven’t found nothing on the market yet that can handle extreme high torque or load and the speed requirements

      Start with AC to DC voltage and DC COMPUTER drive will stop immediately. Go from there.

    You can't use as transmission well cuz of rpm and power issues.
