- One of the most fearful things a Christian can do is grieve the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit's influences decline in our lives, the consequences can be terrifying and they can last far longer than we ever thought they would. Christian, don't count it a light thing when you are commanded to not grieve the Holy Spirit.

I grieved the Sprit for over 15 years, and decided end of 2019 that is was time to come home. Nothing could have prepared me for the depression and grief that were to follow. It’s been nearly 4.5 years since that day, and I still feel lost and abandoned. I don’t believe there is a greater torment than that of someone who has grieved the Spirit of God. To desire that sweet communion with Him so bad that it can physically hurt, and yet by all perception, be so far from obtaining it. I often wonder if God will ever restore the joy of my salvation, and if I will ever again be allowed to fellowship with my Creator through His precious Spirit. I guess only time will tell…

He will restore you...would you turn your son away if he approached the way you are seeking the Lord? No way. God loves you infinitely more than you can understand and if you don't believe it then you are losing precious fellowship with him. And that is what grieves him more than anything else..fall into his arms..don't waste another moment

This happened to me. I grieved that Holy Spirit and yes it lead me to destruction, I destroyed my life more than before. But by God’s Glory He saved me again and again and again. Now I believe that the Holy Spirit is really Sealed in me. Praise God! 🔥
Saved you again and again, what do you mean? HOW many times did the Spirit withdraw from you?
I denied Jesus once, and felt the Spirit leave, and when I felt myself growing cold and hard I prayed and implored and got Him back. Unfortunately, I renounced Him a second time, this time feeling a slight plea in me not to, but I violently and angrily did: it felt like I crushed that love.
How I am trying to get it back. PLEASE pray Jesus come back to me in His Holy Spirit! I have learned my lesson this time!

Praying to God is talking to him abt everything and embrassing his will with open acceptance, even if suffering comes... love him even if he does not, love others the same as you love yourself... but if you are empty of love work on it. Compassion is the key... ask Jesus for guidance and open your heart and you will be in real peace

It's true. This video makes every thing so clear. I ignorantly grieved the Spirit and then I went through a great season of doubt - at one dreadful point I was sure I was destined for hell. Assuredly I say to you I tasted eternal doom and hopelessness. It is so terrible, God's love was nowhere to be found. I wanted to give it all up but I was certain dying would mean bringing my fears into reality! I was stuck between life and death! Do not greive the Spirit, brothers and sisters! Not even while walking in the path of obedience! Trust in His eternal salvation and know that you are loved and that God will not forsake you! Keep humbling yourself and asking forgiveness. And make sure to learn from your mistakes. Amen.

The only hope I have is that I am in a season and this is not forever, because if it is I am eternally damned. I dont want to live without Jesus but I don't want to die either.

I look back on that temporary season of darkness, with gratitude, that the Lord taught me such an important lesson. As long as their is hope, you'll get through it. I know you will. lets take our confidence off of ourselves and place it in Christ. Not your success or failures! Look, where theres flesh there’s sin and you have flesh. It’s to be expected, focus on the grace and love of God because that’s all you and I got. The law if Christ is not the law of sin and death, yes, grace, even for the sin your in now. You won’t get back to where you were by keeping the law, it started as Grace and will end of Grace. Yep, you don’t deserve it, nit a single one of us do, yet the Law of Christ has freed us from the law of sin and death, does that mean we won’t sin anymore? Nope, just means our sins are forgiven. Only grace will get you out of that hole and it’s the only thing that has ever been able to do anything for us.
This is so true I noticed each time I'm convicted of sin I feel like I'm not under God's protection and I'm scared but when I confess the sins I have the confidence that my sins are forgiven and I'm a child of God

I have grieved the Spirit and in listening to this message and reflecting, even before i grieved Him so deeply, i still would be suicidal occasionally. But sometimes i had more joy and fellowship with other believers.
He has given me some blessing back.
Devil is a hard working guy, he want our soul's, that is the reality, this world belongs to Satan, and he is doing his best to put us in eternal Hell, we have to be careful, walk with Jesus, he is faithful.

Brother you are absolutely correct. I experienced this myself back in 87. It is far worse and way more horrible than you can imagine; the term " Holy Terror" is absolutely appropriate. You do not want any part of this rebellion. I immediately repented but the light and life took years to be restored. Its real and it's no fun. God is serious about His holiness. I am so thankful that God is good and returned the gift of His fellowship. I never will do that again. It was living hell.
@@showers_of_joy_88 I have no doubts and fears now. At first I thought I was doomed forever, it was traumatic. Now I realize it is because of Gods great love for me that He disciplined me so powerfully. It took me at least 5 years before God fully restored me. Now that I'm through it I'm so glad He did it. I needed it. I hated it at the time but it resulted in a closer relationship to Him by letting me see my own selfishness and frankly stupidity.
He loves you, dont doubt that anymore and if you weren't His child He wouldn't have disciplined you. Humble yourself before Him and tell Him you are utterly dependent on Him. Praise Him and walk knowing you're His. Not necessarily feeling you're His. The fact is you're His if you want to be and I know you do. He wants you in heaven with Him MORE than you want to be in heaven with Him. It's tough and no fun but it is well worth it in the end. Hang in there and dont give up. We ALWAYS have hope. God WILL get you through it. I know.

You need to start feeding your mind on things that defend the faith that are sensible and truthful. Read Mere Christianity by CS Lewis. Josh McDowells "Evidence that demands a Verdict. Hugh Ross, Frank Turek, Stephen C Meyer. You tube Chuck Missler and watch his videos. The evidence is way on our side. The bible is the ONLY Holy book that talks about creation and science and is NEVER WRONG regarding the cosmological existence of our universe. And this was written 2500 years ago. Scientific discovery is just now catching up, not to mention the archeological discoveries that are being found that you never hear about unless you do your own research. Check out some Hugh Ross Vids. Its amazing how true the bible is! I have given you some direction, now go do some work. Get in a bible believing Church and stop hanging around the skeptics. They have nothing to offer you. NOTHING.

@Yelitza God loves you that's a fact. Continue to praise Him. Satan is a liar and he will try to make you believe its over with God. It's not. If you still have breath and you turn to Him, He said He will not cast you out. Jesus is always with you, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU NEED HIM MOST, AT YOUR WEAKEST, LOWEST, MOST DEPRAVED LEVEL HE IS THERE ALWAYS WILLING TO HAVE YOU BACK IN HIS FAMILY.
He is speaking directly at me. I am guilty of grieving the Spirit. It makes so much sense. After I'd sin, I would place my self in a season of being down, feeling super unworthy, and feeling hopeless. It would even get to the point where I'd think I couldnt be saved and God has turned his back on me. But due to this video, I'm aware that my own grieving of the spirit is what drew me further from God. When really.. We should all rejoice and be glad in the Lord. In the bible it says to believe and you shall receive, therefore we must believe that God has made us new, forgiven us, and washed us clean. Great vid.
I had no idea that this was even a thing but now that I know what it was, I am completely astounded. I believe that I grieved the Spirit to such a high level, I can barely explain how I felt. Like I couldn’t get a grip of my own mind, it felt like there was a 50lb rock in my chest, that I was hopeless and destined for hell. Oh the agony I felt for a week... it’s inexplainable. Father please help me to never do this again. Thank you Jesus for not leaving me. I need you Jesus. More than anything else in my life

The Lord is healing me from going through this awful season. It was so hard to find answers but this pretty much sums up what I experienced. Jesus is so merciful. Every time I try to cry over it, He dries my tears

@@username630user7 the Holy Spirit never left me. I felt His power, protection leave right after I sinned. The season I went through was intense spiritual warfare, doubt, sadness, dryness, wanting to give up. But the Lord has been delivering me from demons and healing me!! It’s been a process but GOD is so merciful and loving! He wants us to be free but we have to renounce our ties to darkness. Seek deliverance and healing from the LORD and brothers/sisters willing to do deliverance. The Lord Jesus bless you and help you 😊

2 days ago I grieved the spirit. I cried for my salvation to come back, the anointing. But nothing. I learned that God still resides in me and he has a seal on me but that doesn’t take away the guilt and darkness I feel. So empty and so vulnerable. It’s not worth it. I was so slothful and obnoxious, don’t be like me take that chance you have and do it RIGHT! In the meantime, pray for me and hope for the best, imma find my way back to him

@@Alex3267m hello, yes I grieved The Holy Ghost 10 months ago , I had a very dark period of pain and blasphemous thoughts that I didnt wanted, but I read the Gospels , listen to sermons and audio Bible and obey the teachings of Jesus Christ from the Gospels, and my situation got better .

Brothers and sisters in Christ, I implore to you, DO NOT GRIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT What this man says about grieving the Holy Spirit is very true. As a child of God that has been saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, I have grieved the Holy Spirit with my sexual immorality. And right now, the Holy Spirit is causing me to anguish in the worst agony of depression and anxiety I have ever felt in my life. I’ve never felt so hopeless before. This is not an exaggeration, but an understatement. You will feel like God has already judged you, that you are bound for hell (because that’s what you deserve), and despite having the fear of God instilled in you, and despite repenting of your sins with the most humble of hearts, The Holy Spirit will not give you peace, for a time. I started feeling this way about 4 days ago, and I still feel as awful as I ever have. I know that God still loves me, but I don’t feel it. I know that I am saved and will be in Heaven with Him, but I don’t feel like I will. When you grieve the Holy Spirit, you will feel as if God has given up on you, and that you are bound for hell.
Please, I beg and plead with you, DO NOT GRIEVE THE HOLY SPIRIT. You do not want experience this type of suffering.

I kept seeing this video in my recommendations but I kept avoiding. I have grieved the Spirit and hardened my heart to the Lord. :( I thank our Father for being slow to anger and not giving up on me so easily. Brothers and sisters, let us pray for one another as the time draws near. Find hope in the knowledge that we know our Shepard's voice. Even those who are lost must be hearing His call. I pray we all answer and make it back to our Messiah so we can one day go home.

The simple answer is that I'd feel the Holy Spirit guiding me away or towards something and I'd... Resist. I'd ignore those cues and willfully keep committing the sins I knew I needed to stop because I liked them and I didn't want to give them up. What helped me is acknowledging this truth and confessing it to God. Asking Him to give me a different heart.

This is exactly what I needed thank you so much! I noticed that all the joy in me has been sucked out of my and now I understand why. I made a huge mistakes a couple months ago and now I understand that I grieved the Holy Spirit. But I have hope that this season that I am in will be over one day. I am going to keep pushing forward anyway.

I don't know exactly what you are saying here but I can assure you that I know what grieving Holy Spirit feels like and it is hell on earth until the precipitating act is duly atoned for.

@@lonniestarr1892 when i was born anew the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart very clearly telling me to go and read.i was pushed by the Spirit to go read.the holy Spirit anouncing me the things to come(it was God promising something to me.i was in doubt but months later in my bedroom at around 3h i saw a light coming from far towards me t was a light brighter than the sun that light came and appeared in my bedroom i could not look at that Light my whole body was shaking terribly and voice came out of that Light and said BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND I WILL ACT IN YOUR LIFE.

This happened to me shortly after is was saved. It took me 6 years to recover and another 7 or 8 years to start back feeling a sense of a assurance of my salvation. This is a serious warning! I love the Lord and am so thankful for his mercy but keep on that narrow path by all means!!!!

Old classic wildmanchris200 it was absolutely horrible. Worst six months of my life. What he said about spiritual depression could not be said better. I felt surrounded and lost, heading for hell, very lonely, scared, very depressed, hopeless. It was worse than any pain i have ever been through. Ireally felt like giving up a few times but kept telling my self to keep fighting in the faith. I’m not sure if my unbelief was genuine because I still believed in the things that Jesus had done, like miracles and such, but it almost got genuine . I was terrified that if die I was going to hell. It strongly effected my prayer life badly. But so far everything seems to be clearing up, I think that the Holy Spirit is still keeping things away from me right now until I completely repent of a sin that I have been struggling with. I think that is how it started in the first place.

I, for one, feel surrounded by an unseen dark cloud, an oppressive cloud that even rakes away my desire for Jesus. It's like I am unpardonable, except for a sliver of light here and now that there may yet be hope. DID YOU HAVE ANYTHING REMOTELY like I am describing? I remember laying in bed, listening to the children playing gleefully in the living room, thinking, "They got all the Grace of God, so young, so full of life and hope, but I have crossed the line."
Funny thing for me, I think about the 1st time I denied Jesus, and felt myself growing hard, and begging forgiveness, and gloriously being forgiven. I look back on that sin, and it breaks my heart. I wis I could go back and never have committed that first denial - even though I was forgiven.
Something is making is so difficult, almost impossible, to repent of the second time I denied Christ. There ARE times when I can repent of my second denial, and get so close to being forgiven, but it never really comes.
Then the knowledge comes that it IS too late, what's the point? I will never be forgiven. I remember going into a store and feeling the hopeless thought, as if God were saying to me, "I already TOLD YOU it was too ate for you. I am not going to forgive you!"

He is so very right about this. We should be absolutely terrified of grieving the Holy Spirit, but we are such ingrates that we take Him for granted, forget humility, and grieve Him. Then we suffer the consequences. The consequence of thinking you might be lost and headed to Hell is truly terrifying. The people of the world will not be terrified, because they don't believe in Hell. Anyone who truly believes in Hell and believes they might be headed there--the terror is beyond what most nonbelievers ever face, I think. Non-believers will look at that and say, "See how terrible religion is? Nobody should ever be made to be that terrified." They would only be right in this IF Hell weren't a real place. It is as real as Heaven and as real as this earth, though. This video is a much needed reminder. I don't ever want to be that terrified again, but the fear of Hell is better than the reality of Hell. God forgave me and restored me. Great is His mercy and faithfulness!

@@change4good955 Off and on until a few days ago. When I am not doing what I am supposed to be doing, I can start struggling with assurance. God has shown Himself to be faithful, though, Whose mercy is new each morning, and I've learned to trust Him more as time has gone on and I've seen His faithfulness to His promises. It is important to remember that God does everything He says He will do, and that everything He says will come to pass will come to pass, both the good to those who abide in Christ, and the bad to those who don't. There is only safety from God's wrath in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. There is also an endless life--a perfect life--given as a free gift in Christ. Just as people had to be in the Ark to survive the flood and be saved, people have to be in Christ to be saved from the second death and live forever.

It sucks to grieve the Holy Spirt, it’s like once you do it, you can’t seem to escape the feeling of guilt and you feel like dying. But where sin abounds, grace abounds that much more.

Me too, I am struggling daily. Luckily, as Paul said: It is not me, myself, but he is the flesh who also dwell in me, yelling constantly for its own lust to me satisfied. I admit his sinfulness, I hate him, and I also admit my incompetence to deal with him. I cannot deal with it, because fresh cannot overcomes flesh. I pray to Jesus daily, I am a worm and powerless in front of sin and Satan, for I am made to be so. I am willing to surrender myself and let the Holy Spirit take over my life and works in me. Jesus has victory over fresh and Satan, so will he overcomes mine in me by His power. It is a spiritual battle.

@@TriciaRP Hi Trisha, i used to be very far from the Lord. i made decisions that were not wise. But the lord completely restored. The lord can restore anything, even if it seems impossible. While the enemy may be telling you, its too hard or impossible. I want to encourage nothing is impossible with God. Seek God, and dont give up. The Bible says when we draw near to God he draws near to us. Seek and you will find. The Lord does not reject anyone who comes to him. But we have to be honest with God.
Jesus can restore you, but the way someone can be restored, is if there heart changes again. And all you want is Jesus again. And God changes the heart.
Even if it's hard, keep seeking, God will make a way for you. He loves you so much.

Thank you Tim , without the conviction of the HOLY spirit , I feel lost . We are all sinners , and knowing just a bad thought is sin ..I hate sin . I truly do, but because I get that conviction , I KNOW MY LORD JESUS LOVES ME. FEelings of being lost and hopelessness, crying out to MY FATHER ,PLEASE HELP ME OVERCOME. Oh, yes, I have been there. It took 4 years of hell before God unveiled the truth of the gospel and my assurance once again. It was the worst season of my Christian walk. But looking back, it seems as a day. I would not wish this on anybody though.
I am very thankful for the ministry of Tim Conway. Thank you for being true to God's Word. Every time I come across a sermon that I think I don't need to hear, I listen and think, "I needed to hear that". Your sermon on thinking right, "Consider yourselves dead to sin...", greatly helped me.

@@oldclassicwildmanchris2007 Oh yes, I would say that for the most part. Fear of going to hell? To some degree. It was more a lack of assurance that felt like hell. I have experienced more of a dread of going to hell before getting saved. If you are in this position, I would encourage you to steep yourself in the truths of the gospel and how it applies to you now. Remember, it is not about you, it is about Jesus Christ.

@@oldclassicwildmanchris2007 Well, it took about 4 years. Yeah, I experienced unbelief during that time I would say, a lot of doubt. I asked forgiveness several times. The motivation was just to get out of the hell I was experiencing. Oswald Chambers went through something similar as far as being in a terrible state where the Bible seemed dry and he didn't care about anyone or thing but to get out of the state he was in. It wasn't anything I DID necessarily that got me out of it. I believe the deliverance has to come from God in His timing. I did watch American Gospel: In Christ Alone, and something seemed to shift for me. I had a better understanding of the gospel as a result, and as a result of that, my walk with Christ has been more intimate. And like I said, that whole period seemed like a day. It's weird. It was hell, and I wouldn't want to go through that again, but even if I did, I think my faith through it would be stronger. I like what Spurgeon said on something on these lines, "Don't worry about whether you're saved or not, just seek Him". I would say to that as well, don't concern yourself with getting out of your situation. I know it is horrible. Concern yourself with Jesus Christ. It is not about you, it is about Him! You must by faith latch onto that. You will get through this. Stay in the Word and in prayer too, no matter how dry it may seem right now.
SO, by unbelief, making sure we are on the same page: what exactly do you mean, unbelief? In God? Scripture? Even Jesus Christ Himself? MY unbelief sometimes comes in thoughts wen I am reading the Bible, infidel thoughts, as Spurgeon wrote in his sermon.
Sometimes I sense the way I grieved the Spirit is MORE DEADLY than the way you or these others grieved Him.
Was it ever hard for you to lay hold on Christ in prayer?
Sometimes I wake up and can almost see an inner boiling blackness in my chest, and feel such a hardness, and this damn unbelief, holding me back from seeking Christ. I keep praying, "Lord, help thou mine unbelief," such as unbelief in the supernatural stories of the early Old Testament.
I once had SOMETHING PRECIOUS, is the best way to describe what I got from Jesus in jail i Nov, 2014. Whatever it was, it made all my "Christian" life in the 3 decades prior seem like GARBAGE compared to what I now had.

HOWEVER... 2 months later I AGAIN got angry at Jesus and started, "I denounce Jesus for," but I stopped mid-sentence, and thought about it, and changed my mind AND MY HEART. I never denied Jesus after that again.
I did not start experiencing torment immediately, it took almost a year. I DID, however, find myself saying to myself, "I want it BACK!" Feeling a sadness in me.
I'd beg forgiveness and ask for that something precious back, but it never came back. Still hasn't to this day.
AM I HOPELESS? NO ONE has done what I have done, and been forgive, ave they? Sometimes this darkness in me makes me not want it, but if I could press a button and it come back, I sure would.

It's been 2 and 1/2 years, and He STILL hasn't forgiven me.

As soon as you stop believing in the truth of the Word, your confidence of salvation begins to fade. Jesus is the word so you pretty much lack faith in him. Understand that the promises of God are in fact true. You have already been forgiven and yet you rely on your feeling to tell you if you are saved or not. Do not let those demons fool you! Battle against them with the word and the truth, bro! You know you are forgiven, but because you lack a feeling you believe otherwise!? I wanna let you know that you are not saved by a “feeling”. Hey, I just wanted to make something clear to anyone who sees. Not all wilderness or depressed periods in our life are a result of our sin. Remember that Jesus was in the wilderness for 40 days, and he never sinned. Especially during this pandemic, a lot of us are struggling with having good mental health. Be careful if you feel guilty, condemned, or worried from watching this video. Satan wants us to feel defeated and hopeless. ALL of us have sins that we need to confess to God, but make sure not to blame these hard times of social isolation and depression on yourself.
I agree with you that we can grieve the Holy Spirit. But should we listen to our feelings, our heart, in a season where we think we are cold? Same as if we were in a season where we are hot. We shouldn't listen to our feelings, our heart, in both circumstances because our hearts are deceitful. Rather we should remember and recognize our identity in Christ.
I grieved the Holy Spirit, I feel empty hopeless I cry begging for mercy, I have the hardest time wanting to read or pray much I used to have sweet communion with the Lord Jesus then one day it seemed like it got taken away from me screaming behind a dumpster in the rain and still threw out the day crying on and off feeling like that missing peace you had is now gone it’s hard and I’m trying to pray and seek His love and mercy I doubted so many times I ran into lustfull thoughts and eyes I was impatient prideful and judged others thinking I was better, I realize I am nothing without the Lord and need to serve rather then think I am something when I’m nothing. When your soul feels empty and you feel like your love has vanished you notice fruits of the flesh banging at the door and you don’t want them in you feel lost so depressed I’ve messed up even my own marriage and relationship with my kids and I miss praying knowing he listens having that friend there threw everything that frowned with you that woke you up in the morning saying pray to me I want to talk that love that peace I miss it please pray for me and I want to pray for those going threw this too. Don’t upset the Holy Spirit He loves and guides you don’t make my mistakes learn and gain the knowledge heed our warnings repent and turn from the sins that easily besset us. The Holy Spirit is not a He or a him but is actually of the female nature and gender as seen in the original Languages revealed to God's first people in Hebrew in the word Ruach ( Spirit ) in Hebrew, which is in the feminine gender! Also the actions of The Spirit described everywhere in scripture are traits of the female role in their original design, unpolluted from sin. And the first action done by The Holy Spirit and first recorded also, was Her hovering over the waters of life and vibrating a divine frequency into all of the molecules of the elements of the water and earth and making them into lifeforms of blood and water from out of the original fresh water ocean at first then became more like blood later from the effects of the sins of Angels and Adam. Its PH became altered to the same as blood and became mixed with salt and other elements from the earth! And her action of making babies of creatures in earth was what She made the female mother birds also do, of brooding over Her newly created young like a mother eagle specifically does in the lexicon of that Hebrew word in Genesis 1:2. And God ( Elohim ), is both a singular word that describes a plural being Who created Adam in Elohim's own image and way. And Scripture says Adam was created as both a male and female fused together into one being then later split apart into two separate beings who then were only half a person each until they were united back together to live in a plural oneness ( Echad ) but separately at the same time as is described in Hebrew. One branch with more than one piece of fruit on it, in this case 3. The Godhead was Literally fused as one being in Genesis 1: 1 in Hebrew then Divided and separated out into 2 pieces or parts in Genesis 1:2. This was the female Holy Spirit detaching from the bosom of The Father, who is male. Then she goes back into a connection with Him and out comes The Son, as the fruit of their intimate union in the spiritual realm. Then The father speaking to the mother of Elohim and in front of the angels who were all made on day 2, says to her let us make Adam in our image and same way like us! And Eve was detached from Adam's atoms on His Right (heavenly) side then Elohim told them to join together in intimate union sexually as is done on earth with flesh to be fruitful and then multiply. They eventually followed that same pattern. Then later messiah spoke Aramaic as His native language which also has the word Ruacha which means spirit and it is in the feminine gender too and prayed in John 17 to return back into the father's bosom in oneness with both of His parents! And when you pay careful attention to the duties and role that is ascribed to The Holy Spirit in John 14 and 16, you will discover that is the role for only a female, not a female. And lastly Back in Genesis 1 the word in Hebrew for God ( Elohim ) speaking is Amar spelled with three ancient semetic pictures/ characters of Aleph, Mem, Rosh. Aleph and mem together is another word inside of who is speaking. Its definition is = Mom or mother and means The first blood or first to lead and be strong in water and or blood! And mothers are the only of us two genders to produce the first product offspring of their blood(line) which takes tremendous strength to go through pregnancy after the harmful side effects of sin! And the 3rd letter in the work to speak ( Amar ), is Rosh which is the picture of a head of man/Adam or son of man/Adam! So the 2 people of Elohim speaking all creation into being is The Mother and her son! And we know from Deuteronomy and 2 Corinthians that every word of Elohim and fact of reality is confirmed by the mouth of two or three witnesses! This now makes sense why Elohim had to define the ideal, perfect and complete family unit as a father plus a mother who produce godly offspring. And this is what we see in nature in every family Genus family kind of creature! I hope you don't just discard this bc of the traditions of men which make the words of God without their intended effect! This goes against what wrong info has been taught to you all and been believed by the majority and for a long time but I am declaring the truth on this! Also the word pneuma in Greek which means spirit is in the neuter gender and should not have been translated as He. That is a mistranslation imposed into the language based on the male dominating bias of the Translators who were all raised in a patriarchal focused society. They practiced Isogesis instead of Exogesis! Pray about this revelation making the most sense to you and study deeper in the original languages and ancient eastern culture to show yourself as approved and a faithful worker unto Elohim who wont need to be ashamed when examined later by messiah and your heavenly mother The Holy Spirit in person when you meet her in full and see Her for yourself at the bema seat reward tribunal evaluation.☺😇

This happened to me exactly as he described it. I was a 'strong' Christian and active in my church. I fell into an addiction and drifted out of fellowship. Before I knew it, 8 years had passed. I greived the Spirit cuz I began to have uncontrollable anger toward my eldest son who wouldn't leave my house when asked. We yelled, we both said horrible things, after he was gone. I cried my eyes out, but fell asleep b4 I could repent. I woke up in the morning feeling completely naked!! Gone was the Holy Spirit. I have been greiving now for 3 years. I repented long ago. The repeated a prayer by holyspiritwind n now as I read my bible n worship, pray in my prayer language, I feel The Holy Spirit coming thru! At times when talking, He wants to come thru. I hope this blesses someone. Note, it wasn't been like it was when I was baptised, & that's OK, I welcome Him back!!

Just the other night, I so needed the Lord Jesus with me, I called out to Him, "Lord Jesus I need you, please, I need you here with me." Suddenly, I began to feel His presence n sat up! I felt the Holy Spirit rise up within me, His energy had me in goose bumps n the hair on my arms lifted up. Filled with so much joy, I was now in happy tears, crying then laughing! Tongues, poured out so fast I couldn't stop if I wanted to. Again, I was filled with the Holy Spirit! I basked in His presence, I had missed Him so much, I ached for Him. I just surrendered to God's grace by God's grace tonight, I still cant believe how God would forgive me and save me knowing I would backslide time and time again. I cant even believe in myself anymore and yet I just cant do away with the reality of God's love and grace
I was on fire for God.. But I grieved him and slipped for years... I've rededicated my life and for the last year and a half it's been dry but I'm hanging on... That's because your true heart isn't truly repentant. repenting means to turn away and go the opposite direction of what you were doing before. And most people use God for their own selfish gain. You are commanded to go and preach the gospel to all creation. You have to speak the truth to destroy the lies.
Joy comes from your salvation nothing else. If you don't understand that you're saved and I can see why you're not happy because your eyes are focused on you and your own selfishness and I'm not being judgmental I'm just speaking deep to your heart.

I am willing to repent, to give up my sins, but there is something in me holding on to them, even tho I have stopped doing them. Is this what it means when the man in the iron cage said, "God has denied me repentance"?
I am conflicted, beset with unbelief. I so badly want to believe in the Bible, its truths. When ever I CAN momentarily believe I am thrilled, and when I can believe I ten ask and beg forgiveness, but, my ability to believe leaves as quickly as it came.
These cursed thoughts of unbelief try to impel me to say the actions of the Holy Spirit I have seen are the same as every other spiritual activity, and I am terrified, fighting it back with all I can for fear of committing blasphemy against the Holy Ghost.
When I can believe in Jesus again, I feel my desire for Him surge back in me, and it is light in my darkness!
I so want Jesus, but then the thoughts, "Do I REALLY want Jesus, or to just get out of hell?"
Whereas Jesus in my life filled me with joy, now there's a cardboard-joy to the thought.

I can't believe it ends like this. Is this the end? How could Jesus let me fall away like this, after starting a good work in me, will He not, as the Scriptures say, FINISH IT?
I was at a Starbucks, in 2017, in Goldsboro, (and was it New Bern?)
There was a small group of Christian young people, on their computers, as was I.
2 hours later, as they were getting up to leave, two of them came over to me, and asked if they could pray with me. I said yes, and the group congregated around me to pray.
I remember, back in 2017, young man driving from the boulevard, who saw me walking in the parking lot. He drove up and offered me words of encouragement, telling me God had something special for me, and that he was praying for me. I remember thinking how mad I was at God because He had a plan for me, but He was not giving me any of my cherished dreams.
Gee, I wish someone would feel led to pray with me NOW, and oh, to think. The young man said God has something special for me.
IS THIS IT???!
Letting me fall away and become apostate, and feel His torment, to demonstrate to others His dreadful wrath to those who do what I did? Is God preparing a great revival, and am I a vessel of wrath, because I did not submit to His plans, because I renounced Him, and His grace is not apparently great and loving enough to forgive me (unless I am SERIOUSLY wrong, which I hope I am!)?
I denounced Him once, in February, or was it March, of 2017, and felt a coldness and loss of love for Him in my heart; but I prayed and begged forgiveness, and was so happy the next night when I felt that something precious from Jesus in my heart once again.
I renounced Him in violent rage again, I think, in November, 2017. I felt a slight plea in me to not do this, but I violently crushed that love, and felt something leave... Yet again, however, in contrast, some months later I AGAIN renounced HIM BUT STOPPED as I was doing it, and thought about what I was doing, and changed my mind and my heart about renouncing Him.
Oh, I look back on those days, from November, 2015, to November, 2017, when I had something so precious from Jesus in my heart. A loving bent towards him, and I knew He loved me. I get happy just talking about them days. I was so unsatisfied because I was not a good-looking guy, because I did not have my dreams, but, oh, in retrospect, those 3 years were the most happiest, most full of light, in my entire life, but now Jesus' love, it apparently turns out, was not an everlasting love, unless I am serious, and hopefully, wrong...
Dear Jesus, why not forgive me, for YOUR mercies' sake, for YOUR atonement's sake, for YOUR Sovereign will's sake? So that YOUR love would truly appear infinite.

What then if someone does that? I cant go back. It's been two years. My thinking isnt logical or rational, recognising truth, isnt clear, conviction left and remission of sins reversed. There will be rivers of tears of those who rejected God's sovereign Grace. All they had to do is surrender their stubborn will and accept His deal and be born again! And when that happens. The appeal of this fallen world will matter less and less! Because you'll be a new person! No matter how far you have fallen, as long as the sun still rises without His face in the clouds... you still have time to be reborn! To begin a new life.... A new creation in Christ! But the clock is ticking! Don't wait much longer! Wouldn't that be the worst luck in the world? To die before you took the time to get saved? i- I already did all of that, and then turned. I wish I could turn to ash. And be gone. I have been delivered up, to living without the spriit after being so changed having this miraculous transformation nand then completely going against it - at first I felt awful, then felt fine. Now it's been taken. The spritual life I had. I am alive. Everything you said I did and then turned on it. I dont feel guilty or remorse and I didnt change and it's like I stopped seeing spirtually and the Holy Ghost left. When we wilfully keep sinning and persist, were given over to it. I never imagined I'd even be capable of doing that Tom. I was the most spritually sensitive person and I let it die. To feel fine without it, is to be dead and decieved. This was a very much needed message for me. Thank you and God bless. One thing I think we need to have a sober mind about is if we die IN that sin. When we habitually sin we bring death into the covenant Christ has made with us. According to God's law a marriage is nullified when one spouse has died. If we die trapped within a sin (spiritual death) that death breaks the bond between God and you. His grace will always be there...so long as you are alive to be able to repent. We never know when our last breath will be. To put off repentance for another day that was never promised to us is the scariest part of it all.
I would add that when the Holy Spirit departs from you that IS the very definition of being unsealed.

Darkness and light cannot share the same space so it is so important to work out our salvation in fear and trembling. His grace is so good but we have the job to stay in that grace with the limited time we have on this earth.

@@change4good955 there were a few times this happened to me but the longest He pulled away was when I was in college living the "college" life. My spirit was dull for many years so He allowed me to get sick (which I still deal with to this day) and that sure got my attention to repent. My restoration is still a work in progress but the difference is I know that if I were to die today I would be with God forever vs living in sin like I did back in college. To live in sin is to choose death. I'm glad I chose life and that He is patient with me. God bless you brother.

He is not answering A-ONE of my prayers, for reassurance He's still there.
The ONLY prayers He seems to answer, almost consistently, are when I am playing level 3 chess on the internet, and I pray, "Lord, I swear, if You are the Son of God, and IF I WIN THIS GAME, IF there is hope, then I swear by Jesus's Name You are NOT the Christ." 9 out of 10 times I pray this I LOSE! IT'S FRIGHTENINGLY AMAZING!
I am begging for Jesus back, willing to give up all for Him back, even tho' there is this cursed darkness in me that, using my sinful nature, NOT WANTING IT, is an obstacle I must overcome.
I can't believed Jesus's love and Grace was not as great as my sin. I have pleaded with Him over and over I have learned my lesson, and have seen just as much more light SINCE I DENIED HIM as I had seen after my jail house experience with Jesus in 2014. NOTHING I CAN PRAY, plead, or beg seems to be able to twist Christ's arm to come back to me.
I am starting to wonder if my conversion itself in jail was not quite a COMPLETE conversion, and therefore, an invalid conversion. Looking back and seeing where I came up short, and yet, my experience of receiving a precious bent in my heart towards Jesus was the best ting that ever happeed to me, and I can see where God's working in my life, since 2012, ultimately led to my experience in jail of struggling and praying until finally feeling myself give up that part of me I had been holding back all my "Christian life" before my experience in jail.
I am getting angry at Jesus - I DON'T WANT TO GO TO HELL! Does He not know His atonement on the cross paid for my sin - unless limited atonement IS true and He didn't DIE For my sin of renouncing Him. AND YET, JONATHAN EDWARDS ONCE WROTE CHRIST'S BLOOD IS ENOUGH TO COVER EVEN the unpardonable sin, so, DEAR JESUS, IF YOU DO FORGIVE MY SIN OF RENOUNCING YOU, I WILL GIVE YOU SO MUCH GLORY, and other sinners who ARE hopeless will see, and be converted, to the glory of Jesus.
Jesus once loved and doted over me, but, alas, His love for me was not EVERLASTING, and that is painful. I confess, I was a rotten person to Him after my conversion, and this makes me wonder if He cast me out because I was like King Saul, or Judas, instead of like Peter, or Paul.

Sometimes I wanna ask Jesus if I truly AM UNPARDONABLE, to let me be the good and young looking guy I always wanted to be, what, if I am going to hell, to at least give me SOMETHING worthwhile out of this miserable life, but... I cannot ask that because of some fear tat I will be sealing my doom.

I Always Thought My Life Was Cursed From The Day I Was Born!!!! Being a Abused And Neglected Unwanted Foster Problem Child. Raised in a Miserable family from Hell. Was never taught anything. Never went to school much. They tried a few times. But it didn't work out. Kids in School beat me up everyday. And this was a Religious School. Didn't know anything about God. Got Saved many years later in my 40's. Tried walking with God for a while. But because of my Abusive Past. I Backslid back into Sex Sins. The harder I tried to get away from it. The more I run into it. It would Follow me where ever I go. Even with Church Women. I Regret My Sins And My Past Everyday. I Repent everyday from my past. Which has been years now. But I still can't hear from God like I used to. 😢
