I love listening to the crunch of the icey snow. ❄️ thanks for visiting pcb. We had to move away from there after hurricane Michael and the landlord didn’t want to renew for us.

Good advice is keep heavy hoodie close by. Winters in Pennsylvania go with a heavy hoodie. The moment I get out of bed I put a hoodie on.

They got over 8 inches of snow in Pensacola. Lots of roads still closed.

Cold blooded reptiles like iguanas. They wake up, in lakes--they don't live in salt water oceans. Guess up in brackish swampy New Orleans they have to navigate closer to lakes and rivers.

I wish I could agree. My hometown was way better in the 80s and 90s. You could skip school (once in a blue moon) go to the beach and be on the sand and as long as you weren't causing problems, you got left alone and didn't have to worry about getting snatched up. Spring break ruined it.

@@LoveLee-jz1tj Since you are talking about the 80's I have to agree. I have been to PC many times in the past but spent more time in Destin back then. It was so much nicer. Less people and wide open beaches. Much safer and so much cheaper!

@@theothershoerupnow4283 Totally spot on about Destin except definitely not cheaper…maybe compared to New York etc but not cheaper than Panama City- that’s how they keep out the “riff raff”.

As a Chicagoan that has lived in FL for 25 years now, this is astonishing to me. It not only accumulated, but STUCK TO THE GROUND FOR HOURS! Insane.

You keep saying New Jersey but NJ has really mild weather and a lot of green grass in winter when compared to the rest of the Midwest that has snow on the ground all winter long.

Most of the snow in NJ has melted. Florida actually has more snow on the ground than NJ. I'm in the Philippines right now. Mid to upper 80s and sunny. No such thing as snow here. Summer all year round.

It's called Climate Change because scientists couldn't get laypeople to grasp that every season would be more harsh and extreme than in prior decades. I remember in my teens hearing that it had gotten to107 someplace in Arizona--now 120 isn't shocking anymore. Their summer peaks are Saudi Arabia.
