Thank you for always speaking for us low income families. As someone with low income I prioritize to pay myself first. Small amounts add up over time. I also do grocery pickup because I am frugal and if I find things on clearance I need to buy them.

Great Advice! I went from making $35,000 a year to being on full disability. While it was a struggle for a few months, I quickly figured out how to manage my money. Bills are always paid, no car payment, $25 a month cell bill. ETC. It is all about priorities. As long as you have money coming in, you can manage it and save.

I learned today, don’t just quit your job because you hate it build up savings then quit or have another job lined up before hand!

Budgeting gives me peace of mind. Knowing that I have a plan for my bills is better than the 'oh crap' moments when I was younger without a budget and having something cut off...

Peace of mind. You have such energy and I relate to you in such an odd way. But I still look forward to your videos like you are a friend and I love your tips and ideas!! Thanks for all your you tube videos!!

I'm doing well, thank you! Our goals are to have two full-time incomes (coming from one income and both of us being students) and bring in more money to survive on. Then, work on emergency savings. I'm hoping to find something that still allows me to homeschool but still work full time hours/income. I always love your videos! They just make me feel so grounded and remind me that it is very possible to repair our financial situation! Thanks for being so encouraging! 💕😃

Thank you for short but jam packed information about money, and money goals. You are always a wealth of knowledge.
We are starting to build that emergency fund. Problem is, we keep taking money out of it for non-emergency items.
Also, credit card debt (the high interest rates) are killing us. Trying to work the snowball method.

We haven't had an income for months. We all have health difficulties. One thing I would like to say is be creative on how you do things. So many things you already have can be used in a different way and work just as great for free. 💕

When there’s not enough money for necessities it makes it so hard to stick to a budget..I get overwhelmed and throw my hands up because I’m in the red and then say “it’ll work itself out”….its the big items that are killing us like an expensive mortgage and van payment.

Dear Ms. Senn, What is the name of those people from the Dave Ramsey group that helps you plan out your money goes. I used to have $900 a month I now make $35K a year, and I have $7K in my checking account. I'm scared and I don't know what to do.

I’m 70. Over the last few years I focused on lowering or eliminating every expense I had. Those efforts have paid for themselves enabling me to pay off my mortgage, increase my 401k contribution, build an emergency fund, and make progress on home repairs and upgrades. I go through the same exercise twice yearly. I captured $10 this month on an internet bill ($120 annually), am adjusting my meal planning to eliminate the impact on inflation, and scrutinizing how I spend my time and with whom.

@@beth3535 I know. I'm glad that you made common sense decisions for yourself. That's why I wanted to sit down with someone to actually see all of my idiosyncrasies special for me. I decided to give my lawyer $4K, pay $1500 for my expert witness and put the rest into savings, just in case there's something else.
