I like how even if a club disbands, they still do what they love. It really makes you feel like they do what they do because they’re passionate about it.
All these fixes and improvements for the game is really making YanSim feel more like an official game. I'm excited to see how this game will improve even more.
When the demo first came out, there were lots of bugs and the game was so messy. It's so cool to see that the game has a tutorial, more cleaner UI, balanced mechanics and new small features now. That's really cool.

I love how the new student profile pictures now look like genuine yearbook photos, The yearbook would be the most logical place for Info chan to get the profile pictures.

i’ve been a fan following the development of ys since 2015, so no one take this as if i’m hating on this game because i do really love it.
it makes me sad how there’s not really anything significant being done. just minor things that don’t really matter :/ i check back every so often to see if anything’s changed, but it’s mainly cosmetic changes and small features that seem to be cluttering up the game, or added for the sake of having an update. it doesn’t feel simple and clean anymore, just more confusing.
Are you still sure about that because last month for the month before he added a tutorial for the main mode and I don't think that's what you said any also added a cutscene that lets you choose how you want to eliminate your rival so you can get a guide from your friend for free

@@jayhillxo there's the plot of the game but in the boss of the game would you want a game that's lame that has all the bosses and all you can do is kill them with a knife sound boring to me
I like that the new backgrounds make their icons all look more like offical school photos! I think it would be a good idea for Yandev to work on the UI or background, though. The pink-on-pink makes it hard to see where the UI ends and the school photo begins.
Edit: Just noticed it looks like they all have shaders too? That's a nice touch!!

Lmao, for me this update was a blessing, there so many new poses now, I don't have elaborate a whole much on news, but now is hard- you can find the background picture in the rivals portrait, they're empty, but the effects-

I aprieciate that he finally made a potraits be more than just standing but I wish the potraits were more unique since most of them are practically the same (for example look at the sports club and science club potraits) :/

so far, I always had my eye on the sewing club guy. another one got added. it's fricken Meichi, and yeah. they're absolutely cute. the new shading they used on the profiles is absolutely adorable and hell yeah
I seriously do wish we get to choose our own Senpai from the existing list instead of the customisables.
i mean, from what i heard, you CAN make any student senpai if you go into the json files and give that character the student id #1, it won't be official and maybe sometimes animations would be janky but it works
i have a theory: As you know, when Taro catches Ayano doing something suspicious, he talks to us and it's game over. I was wondering if Taro and Ayano were two friends who had already spoken before? because it's not game over when other students see us suspiciously
I don't think so If they did they might have met him ayano first year but I doubt it The main reason why he gives ayano a game over it's because ayano has a crush him and cares about his opinion about her when when laughing in front of senpai she says he knows the truth about me and that worries her That's why you have to hide your true nature from him

@707e Games take years to develop, I suppose you wouldn't know since you're not a developer? But this is a sandbox game with tons of content inside of it and ONE developer, of course it's going to take years. He's almost done with the checklist and then the crowdfunding campaign will start, sooner than you think. Games like Minecraft were in development for years and no one batted an eye, so why care if Yandere Simulator does the same thing? Makes no sense.
The new portraits look great but the blurry tree in background looks so out of place and just stands out way to much

Fun fact: Shoku and Geiju's last names being the same was a mistake on the dev's part but they decided to keep it since ppl liked the concept of Shoku and Geiju being brothers.

That's a good thing except for the rivals for the main mode in 1980s mode because you eliminate anyone that's in a club you won't have access to their club but if you somehow do eliminate a club member you can only lock pick the lock to get into the club so it doesn't really matter if you do or not

No, it looks good. It doesn't fit a lot of characters, such as the delinquents. But, design-wise it looks good and matches with the game's Pink theme.
I like to think those are the pictures they took for picture day and they all had to take it in front of the cherry tree lol

"changing the student models" it's been the exact same models with hair changes or eye changes for the last like 8 years now

@Sainbold Batbayar because it is?? he's been using the same pre-made animations for years now, all models are pre rigged and he even if there's issues switching its rlly not that hard to adjust the animation

When I was playing and took one of their picture and send it to info chan and then i saw their portrait and was like- "Wait wha- when did this got updated-"
wait i kinda dont understand why almost all the students have a nickname but then there's their full name...
Before he added the full name all they had with their nickname and people disliked their nickname so he had to come up with some way to fix that so he added the real name
because at first Yanderedev had no idea how to name the characters so he was either just naming them by:
- who they are/their personalities (for example: Osana Najimi = Childhood friend , Amai Odayaka = sweet calm)
- by K-ON characters (the old/first names for Kokona ,Saki and rainbow girls)
- if they are a parody of something (Pippi Osu,Ryuto Ippungo or the photography club)
- by the most popular japanese names as this time (Kokona Haruka,Saki Miyu and rainbow girls )
after some time ,he changed their names and the old ones used as a nickname. I'm not really sure what was the reason but I think it was because people disliked the names so Yanderedev changed it
@@sakuraaishi246 its kinda weird because for characters like Riku, Kokona and Saki, he pucked the most popular Japanese names, but they still have nicknames? I guess its because theyre all meant to be first names?
Early in development, he named the characters with goofy names like Mai waifu. and than people wanted more realistic japanese names. So he tried changing the names of these characters, but fans have gotten attached to these names. So Yandev added both. the realistic ones, and the nicknames we all know and love.
Senpai additional information just got more aware and accurate
