Your videos are great, thanks for all the great videos you put out there that help DIY'ers. . That being said, I've had CRL windows in my van for 2 years, I'm not full time, just do long trips here and there. They are the worst, the t-vent ones are literally falling apart on the inside. Plastic dividers have warped and are falling off, bug screens are worthless, they don't fit snug so there are gaps all around them. It's also hard to get CRL windows so they don't leak, I have had to have all of them caulked around the rubber seal to get them to quit leaking. I would get the kind of windows that are glued in if I were to do another van. I was warned before I had them installed that they weren't the best, wish I'd listened. I've talked to multiple van builders who don't use them anymore because of too many problems with them. Like I said, your videos are great and super helpful, it's just the CRL windows that suck!

In fact, one hole is sufficient to position the cardboard template on the wall. Then you bring it on the outside and adjust it so it is parallel to the metal fold just over it. I held the drill in place for positionning by putting it tightly in an half inch wood block held in place against the metal wall by double sided tape.
