- UPDATE: The big patch really made this deck a lot worse and sadly not too good anymore. For card choices, not much has changed and you can kinda just choose the cards you like. The one difference now is that Down with the Ship is also a cuttable card.

Hi! As a new player, I just wanted to say thanks because I've reached Diamond 5 with your deck and I'm trying to reach Legend! Anyway, with the new patch, is there anything I should change here? This is the only meta deck I have as I don't have a lot of dust
Well done on reaching Diamond 5! Currently it's pretty hard to say what to change with the patch since so much has changed. I'll try to update the guides a bit in a pinned post in a few days.

I've gutted the composition of this deck almost completely because, while crop rotation/army is good at clearing things, you never gain/retain board, crop dies at end of turn and army dies to any form of aoe. So you are in an awkward position where vs agro you are constantly just trying to clear while they rebuild, vs control all your minions are tiny and pose no threat and you are relying to your weapon damage and plagues. Hematurge is good value but if you look at blood runes what are you really looking for, explosion and soulstealer? Explosion same problem we already have, board clear leaving you with nothing, soulstealer was goated but if you trying to soulstealer vs painlock on 8 you already dead.
So I made some changes and am running: Chillfallen baron(rather have consistent draw than hoping I have nuts with mining into acolyte or spending turn6 just to cycle leaving behind only a 2/4). Swarmguards instead of crop/army, personal preference, almost same corpse counts, makes that zilly rogue deck concede and buys you time into my next change: cactus rager+ HP+ threads as my omni clear. This comes out on 5mana which is cheaper than both grim+ crop or grim+ army, and you just transition to headless on 6 seamlessly. Cactus+ threads full board clears anything minus some deathrattles and is less prone to stompers and mess up your opponent's plans if they timing when to spell lock you. Also thrown back in the classic combo of maw and paw into corpse bride/giants for midgame threats that can straight up win if opponent has no answer and allows you to stand toe to toe in a ''let's see whos' is bigger contest'' vs wheel locks. Last but not least am running the 2mana spell that discovers a spell from your deck for after your transform with hero card for easy time getting some head and be on your merry way to value town vs control matchups.

Sorry but this is not how you build a deck. You are taking out cards with multiple synergies to add cards that only work in specific scenarios. What is Swarmguard gonna contest in any matchup, and Cactus Rager, really? You don't have consistent corpses for Corpse Bride, so it rarely comes down turn 5 for anything significant. And having Northern Navigation only for one specific card, that requires you to draw and play another card first, only works in the slowest matchups and then it is MAYBE useful... it's good to think out of the box but yeah this isn't gonna work out

I'll say that vs Zilliax Rogue it can be useful, but that is about 2-3% of the meta. Against aggro it's at best mediocre stalling, against anything else it is pretty awful. The card is made to be buffed and this deck doesn't do that.
@@theohearthstone yeh you are right it's mediocre and in there for the stall and to replace the corpse generation I took out, so if you nutted and go 1drop mining seemstress swarmguard corpse bride on 5 that's 10bodies giant come down for free
