It did sound rather ridiculous, but then again, this is one of the parts of Irish history/culture that I so love. Even if you had never arrived at that phantom grave, the journey was quite enchanting…sheep, baby goats, tiny roads, a picturesque pond, picnic tables, nooks and crannies to rest and reflect awhile, rain and mist are all part of the quintessential Irish experience.
